My kids and Fortunados the other night and tried the Gf pizza. They loved it and we will definitely order again!

I ordered a Greek salad. It was horrible. The salad consisted of a lot of lettuce, some tomatoes, carrots and a boiled egg . I almost a lot of feta cheese. My cousin paid $10.00 for this hot mess. read more

I am from NY and when I need to have a taste of home, I head to Fortunatos. The pizza is about as close as you can get in NY: the sauce/cheese ratio works. The crust could be a sneak thinner so that it forms those under the sauce bubbles , but aside from that, I find it to be quite a satisfying slice. Awesomeness read more

A good basic cheese slice, well balanced ratio of sauce, cheese and crust. Sometime getting the basics right makes everything right, and the whole is greater than the sum. If there's a better cheese slice in Baltimore, I wanna know where, because this one is very good. read more

Overall food quality was not good. Grilled chicken on the salad was extremely dry. I ordered Ranch dressing and received a vinaigrette. Ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza. Canned mushrooms instead of fresh which I prefer. The cheese pizza was inedible for me. The sauce has a tangy, odd taste. I don't care for a sweet sauce either but this was sour tasting. The crust was good, done well. I ordered thin. Delivery was 20 minutes later than the app showed and came cold. I was unimpressed with the overall service and quality. I will not be ordering from here again unfortunately. read more

Customer service is the best. They destroy Vito's any day ! I recommend the pizza . Don't go to Vito's

Meatball parm sub with gravy fries....something is completely off with this place...I'm so pissed off at the gravy fries I need to start with this. I'm 36 years old...never and I mean never have I everrr had a gravy so under seasoned and bland in my life. .2/10, not 2/10...no no no...(.2/10) worst shit I've ever had. Not only the gravy but someone needs to seriously advise these cooks on how to make French fries. What the fuck, who fucks up fries? Well u guys managed... Meatball parm sub...get this everywhere I go...highly doubt meatballs are made fresh in house if so, they are small and weak...just like this restaurant. The sauce on this sub was the most least appetizing part. This is what's leaving me like wtf. Maybe too much sauce to meatball ratio? But the sauce was garbage, a good tomato sauce I would easily talk up. I'm thinking too much sauce, too little meatballs, cheese level ok, bread level ok. I just wanna wrap this review up cos it's not worth anyone's time. Don't come here, highly dissapointed! Meatball sub: 5.8 Fries and gravy: .2 read more

First rate Carryout Pizza Cooked fast and well - everyone is friendly and Health minded in todays conditions. I've been going here for years without incident. Tried out this pizza place close to my house for the first time today, ordered a pick up order for my house and when I got home found at the main item (a Sicilian pizza)Which I've been stacked at the bottom of my order had half of the cheese fused to the cardboard box. I called the business asking them to send out a new pizza since I'm only a mile down the road and was told by both of the employees initially it was my fault and after five minutes on the phone was able to get a refund... Will not be ordering again. read more

***DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS DISHONEST BUSINESS THAT ENGAGES IN SHADY PRACTICES*** Order up sent an email and a mailed advertisement advertising their special of a 8" Cheese Steak, Fries & 32oz Drink for $8.99. After reviewing the offer on Order Up, I realized all the toppings for the cheesesteak were an extra $.79 a piece (i.e lettuce, tomato, mayo, onions, hots, etc.). I knew it had to be a mistake as those are standard options included on EVERY BASIC CHEESESTEAK SUB, so I called Fortunato Brothers to inquire about the special and to see what toppings were offered STANDARD on the sub. I was told it included lettuce, tomato, mayo, onions, cheese and hots. He asked if I wanted to order and I said I would place the order with Order Up and he immediately hung up on me. This should have been the FIRST red flag. The delivery guy was super nice and delivered my items. The fries were standard and lacking basic salt so I seasoned it, ate a few and moved onto the cheesesteak... As pictured, it was bread and steak only. I took a bite thinking the cheese has to be somewhere as this sub is dry , lacking flavor and something else. It wasn't until my husband asked me what I was eating that i realized the lettuce, tomato, mayo, and onions (no hots via preference) was missing as well. I immediately called Fortunato Brothers where I explained the situation and was passed off to the assistant manager. He told me that with Order up you must pay for toppings outside of cheese and bread. I paid for extra cheese (American) and extra meat ($2.99) and was told that they place the cheese in between the bread (i didn't see it via the picture included) and it came with extra meat. I told the assistant manager the sub was also missing the lettuce, tomato, mayo, and onions that the phone rep told me was included standard on the sub. The assistant manager kept telling me with Order Up I'd have to pay extra in order to receive those items despite the representative telling me otherwise BEFORE I placed the order. I asked the manager if what he was basically telling me was that i wasted my money and he kept reverting back to having to pay extra for the toppings I wanted via Order Up. A simple refund, new order or discount on a future order would have sufficed but the customer service here is lacking tremendously. First and last time I will ever patronize this business and I recommend that you avoid this place at all costs. read more

Fortunato Brothers - "Cheesesteak Sub Special" with extra American cheese and extra meat. - Pizza Near Me - Towson, Maryland

Fortunato Brother's chopped tomato pizza is the best meatless pizza in Baltimore When I was in the mood for pizza, I used to be drawn to the pies with names like "meat lovers", "carnivore", and the most meat-laden to the point of revolting, the "artery-clogger." I was under the mistaken impression that the higher the pile of spiced meat, the higher the quality of the pizza. I have never been so happy to be so wrong. Once again, thanks to my wonderful fiancée, my pedestrian palate has become further refined. Fortunato Brothers Pizza in Towson has long been my fiancée's favorite, and I was promptly introduced to it when I moved to Charm City. Of course, she wanted the chopped tomato, but the fuzzy-unibrow-on-a-sloped-forehead-havin', knuckle-draggin', club wavin' caveman inside me howled "MEAT GOOD!" and piled all sorts of meat on my half of the pizza. This happened for several visits to Fortunato Brothers when my inner Neanderthal evolved to an inner Cro-Magnon and agreed to try the sacrilegious meat-free pizza. I reluctantly allowed myself to inhale the aroma and I grudgingly admitted the fragrant basil and garlic were enticing. At the first bite, my inner Cro-Magnon evolved into an Ivory Tower Elitist. I don't like soft and squishy tomatoes and I usually avoid them with any hot food, but these were perfect. They remained firm and kept the fresh-from-the-garden flavor. The basil was fragrant and strong; the perfect matching for the tomato. The garlic was present but didn't overpower the two other toppings. Finally, it is sauce-less so the main ingredients keep the center stage in the never ending comedy of my mouth. So I came away with two learning experiences: 1. Always be willing to try a new food no matter how loudly your inner Neanderthal protests. 2. One chopped tomato pizza was responsible for 30,000 years of human evolution. read more

The food is great, especially the Pizza. The chopped tomato pizza is a must have. I haven't had a better Chopped Tomato pizza elsewhere. Cheesesteaks are okay and the prices are pretty reasonable. The only complaint is that they don't accept credit cards or debt cards, so you better plan to pay with cash. The only complaint was that they don't accept credit/debt cards for purchase. This pizza was horrible! It was over an hour wait for 2 pizzas and chicken fingers. When the pizza finally arrived it was mangled, flipped over and crushed in the boxes. I called and spoke to the manager he said it would be ANOTHER HOUR to get fresh pizza delivered and he would have to take the destroyed ones back. I have company and a 5 yr old who are starving as ot is now after 7pm. Wr asked for a credit for next time and was rudely told they dont do that. I will NEVER order from this place again. I could live off of the chopped tomato pizza! The tomato bread is another favorite as well. Very fast and friendly.

So frustrated with online ordering with these guys. Click on Order Online and unbeknownst to you, you're actually ordering through Slice, a company which totally sucks, loses orders, delivers late, deliverers to the wrong location, etc. But Fortunatos doesn't say on their website that's the chance you take- it makes you think when you click Order Delivery that their own drivers will be delivering. I've lost three dinners to this BS because Slice delivered to the wrong address. Been a client of Fortunatos for twenty years, but I'm done now. read more

They make a pretty good cheesesteak sub, great fries and delicious wings. They are fast too and the food is always hot. I have dined in and received delivery, both were great and the delivery time was always shorter than quoted. Try them and you will be surprised. They have combo deals in store and over the phone but they don't show on the online store. read more

UPDATE: (9/2010) They now accept credit cards. Yay! The pizza here is great-- closest to NY pizza in Baltimore. They also have some interesting kinds of single slices-- I am a fan of the stuffed steak. The tomato bread is super delicious and the subs are fantastic as well. A great, quick, weeknight meal. As far as atmosphere, there isn't much. There are a few small tables, but the space is cramped and it's best to just get your order to go. They do not deliver and they only accept cash. They have fountain sodas and bottles of soda and juice, but no beer or liquor (yet another reason to take your order to go). I do wish they would add zucchini sticks to the menu. read more

Their pizza is ok not the greatest. I have also had their chicken cheese steak it's ok but must ask for extra cheese because it seems like they don't put enough I can't even taste it and the bread taste old and dry. The mozzarella sticks are like Arby's not bad but very salty ! And their garlic bread is sucky. Just that old bread soggy with butter, doesn't taste like garlic bread at all. They are really quick though with delivery and always very nice on the phone and in person. They have messed up my order once. I continue to order from them because it's the only close place to my job that's decent and quick delivery when on my lunch break. read more

My husband and I walked into a freezing restaurant. The gentleman at the counter said the heater couldn't keep up with people opening the door so they don't bother. Bad sign when a restaurant is too cheap to consider the comfort of their customers. But we were very hungry and opted to order and eat in our car where it was warm. My husband ordered a hot chicken parm that was rubbery and barely lukewarm. I ordered spaghetti marinara that was hot, but very mediocre. The salad greens were watery and tasteless. read more

Fantastic! I was in town for work and was recommended this place. I am from Chicago so I have high expectations for pizza and they were met here. Get the buffalo chicken pizza. It's all good, but the Buf ZA is the way to go. Crust is like the pillsbury dough boy came up and gave me a hug and then paid my student loans. Toppings are made with love and manicured like Kim Kardashians eye brows. read more

Awesome pizza. As close to NY style as you can get in Maryland! I got "the works pizza", and love that they use "real" spicy Italian sausage! The canola I had was fresh out the oven, and one of the best I've had in a while! I highly recommend this place for anyone that is a fan of PIZZA. read more

Never order from Fortunato Brothers Towson ! Pizza came with barely any sauce or cheese and it looks as if the mushrooms were taken straight from the can to be thrown on the pizza (mushy). Onion rings burnt. Fries tasted like oil and nothing else. I called the restaurant to explain my concerns and was cut off after every word I spoke. The man I spoke to claimed to be the owner when I asked for a manager - he supposedly watched my food be made and said that grub hub must have dropped my food if there was barely cheese or sauce. and was told that the "owner" personally watched my pizza be made And I was wrong about the quality. I told him I personally would drive to the restaurant with the uneaten food or send pictures. He wouldn't help me and said he refused to remake me food- not that I asked them to. Ultimately the owner was unwilling to listen much less make the experience right. read more

Ehhhh....it was just OK. The menu is quite large, with lots of different combos of pizzas, subs and salads. Unfortunately, in the middle of a Baltimore summer, the only tomatoes they could come up with were palid soft specimens that added absolutely no taste to my slice. The subs were a bit better with some very generous portions of great cold cuts (I think they used Boars Head) - and lots of olive oil and vinegar - yum! Service is super-friendly and professional - and comes with a smile, and that always helps! read more

If I ask about the special on slices because it's less than an hour before closing and your reply is 'Its buy one, pay double.' Then I'll leave. It was really funny, I bet, watching the business leave the premises. Never to return. I went across the street where they were less snarky and they made my order fresh. No funny stuff; just pizza. Do I call the manager to say how humorous it was? Does the comedy drive all of the business out the door? Laughter is the best medicine. My family members in Baltimore love this place. I went there once, with them, to get pizza to go. The service was OK: they weren't rude, but they weren't friendly either. I got a slice of the Bruschetta pizza and half of a pepperoni. My general impression was that it was OK--not anything special. I liked the crust, though; it had a dense texture. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I've been to this place several times, but today was my last day. The chicken fingers that I normally get were absolutely disgusting. They tasted like they were fried in old fish oil. The meat did not look like chicken. I spoke to the manager who was not sympathetic or helpful at all. just saying they changed the oil this morning and all they fried were chicken and fries and blah blah. I call B.S.! I'm telling you, it was disgusting! I took one bite and threw it out. Never again! Disgusting food and horrible customer service! read more

Would give them a zero. Food was late and cold and thrown together. Will never order from them again.

I've been coming here on/off for a very long time. Now I live about 5 minutes away and discover that they deliver?! I usually get the chopped tomato pizza and it always delivers the tasty feels. Ordered six pizza's for a kids party that were to be delivered at 6:30 PM, but they did not arrive until 7:45 PM, and the pizza arrived cold. This place is ok. I ordered a pizza (buffalo chicken) and fries. The fries were normal no frills but the pizza is the issue. I ordered a large buffalo chicken and ate a slice ... This was the worst experience ever. 2 pizzas took over an hour to be delivered. Both were cold and mangled. Driver blew us off and told us to call the restaurant.
