I had reservations about even going to this place when I saw the mailer sent out as they opened. Honestly, I cringed at the prices knowing nothing about their product. I was on the phone with a friend and our conversation turned to pizza. Between us we've haunted most spots selling the stuff from inside the beltway all the way to Hunt Valley and beyond. My friend asked if I've ever been to the spot next to Best Buy. Confused, as there's a Petco next to Best Buy, I said "No." Then she mentioned the small strip center just south and it dawned on me: HomeSlyce! We decided spontaneously to meet there. She walked from her home and I drove. Upon arrival, we checked the menu and asked if we could do halves on the premium pizza. They don't. So, we ordered two 12" Premium pies: the Vegetable Supreme and BBQ Chicken Kale as I've never had Kale on Pizza! We also shared a couple cans of Arizona Half n Half. Pies were made and delivered quickly. We were pleased with the presentation and were amazed by the flavor and density of the pizzas! These pies were elevated well over and above most pizzas offered along the York Rd corridor and were worth every penny. Will HomeSlyce replace our usual go-to's? Probably not, but when the mood strykes for pizza a cut above the rest, we know where to go. Very pleased with this place, food and staff. Check it out!!

My children and me have always liked this franchise. Since 5 months ago HomeSlyce has come to Towson. The people inside are super nice. There isn't much with ambiance with this small location. They do have tables inside and that's how we chose to eat our pizza. The pizza never disappoints and this Towson location delivered. HomeSlyce is one of the best pizzas in the area. Don't sleep on this location for your pizza cravings. It's a must try if you've never been to a HomeSlyce location. We will definitely be ordering pizza here again when I'm in the area. Till next time.....

Eggplant sandwich w/ fries and zesty sauce

Wednesdays have a 50% off special for sandwiches when dining in, so I got the Roasted Eggplant Sandwich, chose fries instead of salad with it, and mozzarella sticks. The sandwich was delicious, and now I want to try a pizza with that pesto. The bread was very good, and the filling spread nicely throughout. The mozzarella sticks were great as well, with a cheese pull and the batter light-tasting and good texture, and stuck to the cheese instead of the frozen kind you see where a rough tube of batter holds its shape with lots of air inside between it and the cheese. The location is clean and neat, with the tables large enough for a meal, unlike some pizza places. Both times I've been here staff have been patient and accommodating.

This is def the best pizza I have had in the Lutherville/Timonium location. Customer service amazing. The inside very clean. I ordered takeout for lunch. I even got a bottle of water no charge.

Very friendly, even though they were closing we weren't rushed.!! Pizza was really good, wings were tasty, and the great price

Pappas in Cockeysville came up in a couple of influencers' lists, so we made the 1 1/2 hour drive north to experience it for ourselves. We arrived at 11:30 on a Sunday morning and chose to sit on the restaurant side (versus the sports bar side). Our meal started with soft rolls right out of the oven and vinegar-y cucumbers. My wife had some them while I passed on them for I don't like cucumbers. Obviously, we later ordered the single crab cake entree with two sides ($33.99). I chose the fries and the up-charge for a Caesar salad while my wife picked the coleslaw and mashed potatoes. The crab cakes did not disappoint! Even though it was a hot day outside, they kept the restaurant very cold. After we ate, I didn't notice it as much because I was so full. A final note is the lunch crowd started coming in around 12:15pm.

Locales and visitors enjoying a Monday dinner - crab cakes or pasta seemed to be popular. The latter may be attributed to the $2 pasta discount on Mondays. The quintessential basket on the table of stale cracker packets and tiny plastic containers of butter probably sitting out 24/7. Meh- why "Oprah" would order her crab cakes from here when the crab is not from Maryland, right? Once I heard that news from the waiter ( I asked, it was not volunteered) I opted for the local soft shell crab special. ( despite it not being season, I should have known better. It was a puny crab with hardly any meat and it was not properly cleaned either. Sides of overcooked brocolli and asparagus. Baked potatoes looked liked yesterday's overcooked option. My colleagues enjoyed the crab cakes which were large portions- should be for $40+ each. Service was friendly, food took too long- it was a long wait for mediocre overpriced food.

You can choose any soup or greens, an entrée, and then dessert. It was very tempting, however, we were only ordering for lunch. To start they gave us a warm, crusty rolls, which were yummy. Hubby enjoyed a bowl of Maryland crab soup and the shrimp salad wrap, and I had a chicken and avocado salad, which was fresh, delicious, and enormous. I took half of it home for lunch tomorrow! Cage was a great server. Both personable and attentive. This is a large, clean restaurant with a nice clean bathroom as well as a full bar. Lots of private spaces for a larger party as well. Employees were all very friendly. Definitely not our last time here!

Sunday 5pm Fathers Day…read more Server : Jake We were on our way to Hampden for ice cream but missed our exit and landed in Timonium. The first place that came to mind was Bluestone. It was busy because of the holiday but Bluestone has a lot of seating. I asked the 3 girls at the front for a table with good lighting. The hostess didn't hesitate and we were seated immediately. There was a Fathers Day special of 2 separate entrees . Our Server Jake told us the Steak was sold out . That's pretty good for them. Sounds like I should try the steak another day if they have it. I wanted a small plate and Jake gave me 3 recommendations: BANG bang shrimp, mini crab cakes, & Crab Spinach dip. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and the beet salad. This was another "live in the moment" dinner for me. I am deciding to be more deliberate about enjoying my food and not taking as many pics. Everyone on Yelp has the same pics of the same food. The beet salad was so good. Very appealing plate. The Bang Bang Shrimp were swimming in sauce but still tasty. I really wanted to try a new red wine Jake recommendations were : JEZEBEL & Alta Pavina. I chose the Alta Pavina (a high alcohol content you may only need 1). I wasn't feeling like a Jezebel on Sunday and decided to wait for a Friday night for that red wine.
