I stopped into Cheesesteak & Co. for a quick bite and ended up really impressed. I ordered the…read moresmash burger and the honey lemon pepper wings -- and both were standouts. Let me start with the wings because... wow. I've been on a mission to find a honey lemon pepper wing that actually has flavor, and these finally hit the mark. Sweet, tangy, peppery, and bold -- not that faint "maybe there's lemon in here" situation most places give. These had real personality. The smash burger was another surprise. I don't eat cheese, so I was a little intimidated ordering a smash burger without it, but no cheese, no problem. The meat itself tasted different -- richer, cleaner, and higher quality than your typical burger spot. The edges had that perfect crispy smash, and the inside stayed juicy. When the meat is that good, you don't need anything extra. Service was quick, ambiance was fitting and the food came out hot, and everything looked good enough that I had to grab pics before diving in. This spot is definitely going into my rotation.

The staff here were very helpful and friendly. I got the cheesesteak fries and the portion was huge. I definitely couldn't finish it all. The food was well seasoned and hot. I definitely will be back again whenever I am in the area.

Boiler makers or as we call the north "City wides" were very reasonably priced so indulged (a lot). The staff were great to chat with in between drinks. Friendly, kind, with positive energy. Also loved the sign "Don't Be an A**hole" The people were equally as awesome. Variety of backgrounds coming together for dancing, good music and fun. Talkative and friendly. Can't wait to come back.

I'll be honest, for many years, I really didn't understand why everyone loves smash burgers. Every…read moreone I'd had was basically just a regular hamburger, just misshapen and somehow extra dry. I'd given up on it as a menu item, holding back a roll of my eyes anytime someone would order it--"but why???" I'd ask myself. If you find yourself nodding your head along, keep reading, because what I'm about to tell you will change your life: THE ROYAL BLUE IS HOW YOU DO SMASH BURGERS. I'd heard of The Royal Blue and happened to find myself right in their neighborhood with some friends and we were in need of dinner plans. Oh my gosh, game changer. We've since been back multiple times, bringing new friends with each round, waiting with bated breath to hear them inevitably conclude that this is the best smash burger they've ever had. Flavorful. So thin. CRISPY EDGES. Great bun. Ahhhhh. Just superb. Don't give up on smash burgers until you try this one--you'll be missing out on a world of deliciousness otherwise!

Came here to get a pizza for dinner. Now I have passed this place plenty of times and decided to…read moregive it a try. Upon entering, you walk into a full service, but small, market specializing in Italian grocery items. The ambiance was homey, perfect for a small neighborhood specialty grocery. They also have a deli counter, meat counter, hot food bar, and Italian dessert section, to name a few. They also have pizza kits to take home to make your own and pasta and other food items prepared and ready to go in the refrigerated section. The pizza counter is located in the rear of the store. They also sold other items such as sandwiches. We were greeted by a pleasant young man and ordered our Italian sausage and pepperoni pizza. Scittino's has seating to enjoy your pizza in store or outside. Our order was ready in no time. We opted to take ours to go. The pizza was fresh with a great yeasty crust. The toppings were good and ample, the tomatoes sauce fresh with just enough cheese to pull it all together. The pizza was really good. All in all, another pizza spot to add to our growing list in the area.

Their house-roasted porchetta used a light layer of hot giardiniera, (marinated cauliflower, carrots, bell peppers, celery and Calabrian chili peppers), and it wasn't super-spicy. Perfect for me! They used "shaved Auricchio provolone", which happily had more flavor than average american provolone, and it melted enough to make a soft stretchy layer as a good replacement for more traditional stracciatella cheese. The star of the sandwich, the porchetta, was tender, juicy but not wet, very nicely flavored with tiny touch of its own peppery heat. The ciabatta had a nice chew, not crispy, not too soft. A very nice sandwich! The flavors could have been a bit more bold, and i wanted just a little more crisp on the pork. The whole sandwich was very pleasing. The "classic Italian" was very generously overstuffed with quality cold cuts: bright mortadella and capicola, thin tender prosciutto, flavorful provolone and romano. A good balance of lettuce, tomato, and red onion, lightly flavored with their savory herbed house vinegar & oil, and a light sprinkling of bright flavorful not-too-spicy crushed cherry peppers. Of course on their great fresh Italian bread. It was very tasty and satisfying. For the six-year-old we got a simple salami and mayo. It sounds ordinary, but it was a very flavorful super-thin salami and that perfect Italian bread. I was lucky the six-year-old saved me a taste :-) With a full little grocery store, we also added Berger cookies and several types of Italian cookies. The amaretto ones were especially light and well flavored. They melt in your mouth! Scittino's has a whole menu of sandwiches and pastas and chicken and sweets and salads, a nice selection of Italian soft drinks, and a full deli. We often get their giant 20-inch New York thin crust pizza! Tasty with a crispy-bottom chewy thin crust. This is a nice little corner neighborhood restaurant with a few tables and enough parking here and there. They make you feel welcome, and the food is good :-)
