Don't forget Pellegrino & Orange juice

Excellent service and delicious breakfast from Argentina. The blood sausage and chorizo Argentina was amazing with the special chimicurri green sauce. The Empanadas were so good and filling with oozing cheese melted inside with ham. The Classic Eggs Benedict made fresh to order was perfect. I couldn't ask for more because it's a lot food and I am hungry but only eat half and the rest is taken home. The magic touch is San Pellegrino sparkling mineral water with fresh orange juice which really adds extra zing to your taste buds. Enjoy and breath in the fresh ocean breeze blowing on by this amazing beautiful day at Costa Mesa. See y'all here real soon.

As an Argentinian, I can honestly say this is one of the best Argentinian restaurants I've tried in Orange County From the very first bite, you can taste how authentic the food is the empanadas were incredible, the meat was perfectly flavorful, and everything had that homemade taste that truly makes you feel closer to Argentina. You can really tell how much quality and love goes into every dish

I love Pasta Connection tortellini. Treated myself to a to go dinner. I was so surprised by smaller rations for $20.00, is it just me?

We adored this place for 1) family feel/run Argentian-Italian establishment - very cozy 2) its delicious chimichurri sauce (free bread app) 3) portion sizes and delicious pasta + milanesa Service is a bit slow, and maybe it's meant to be that way. Very family type service -- so I can see it may be frustrating if it's busy. We got the chicken milanesa, 2 empanadas (beef is the best, over chicken), and the Tute Mare. - Chicken milanesa was good; not my favorite dish, but my partner loves it! The fries were AMAZING!!! - Tutto Mare: tasty and even better if you throw some of their chimichurri sauce on top. Portion size was almost for 2 (imo) Would def return to try more dishes! We came on a Saturday, very late lunch around 3pm - no wait at all! Even has a free parking space

How is this place not 5 stars???? Ambiance: cozy and perfect for a family outing or for a date night! Parking: small lot but I haven't had an issue with parking any time that I've been here. Service: servers are really nice and attentive. You may have to wait at least 20 minutes for your entrées, but I didn't even notice since I had conversations going with my group while unlimited bread with chimichurri sauce was coming out!! (And those together were THE BOMB 10/10) Food: Entraña 10/10: my FAV!!! Skirt steak cooked to perfection with a side was well worth the price. Pair it with the chimichurri sauce and it's even better!!! Gnocchi of the month 8/10: pink sauce. Gnocchi was so soft and pillowy. I just wish there was protein with the meal. chicken alfredo 6/10: good staple for those who like chicken alfredo, but it was really cheesy for me. Tortellini especiale 5/10: not bad, but not special Tutti de Mare 8/10: nice little seafood pasta! Yummy! Pesto y Tuco 3/10: it was not a fav at our table of 7 people. onion rings side 8/10: crispy, yummy, and giant onion rings!!! calamari 6/10: it was okay but not the best calamari ever. Could be crispier like the onion rings tiramisu cake 8/10: very yummy and felt light (doesnt make you feel like you ate a heavy dessert) Portion size: big enough to make you very full if you eat everything and if not, it makes for another meal! In summary, Every time I've come here, I've left with a pleasant dining experience and food coma. Definitely recommend!!!

I booked reservations through Open Table which was fairly easy, but finding parking in order to make the reservation was SUCH a challenge. The area was so compact and hard to navigate through. Nevertheless, the restaurant was gorgeous. Our server however, was a bit short and left us waiting quite a few times to the point to where we had to ask other servers to assist us. Nothing major but we sat without things like utensils, napkins, etc. We'd also ordered a few drinks and waited a while for those to come as well. Our order was also wrong when brought out, but we didn't make a fuss. Also the restrooms were super small and crowded as well as SUPER humid. There were also these weird pictures of men sitting on the toilets which was pretty disturbing to be in a women's restroom. Idk it was pretty distasteful especially considering this is supposed to be a nicer restaurant. It was a nice spot for aesthetic IG pics. Overall I don't think I'll be coming back, but it was a cool spot to try I guess.

We added garlic and prosciutto to the gluten-free focaccia, and he also enjoyed the pasta. He's additionally allergic to nightshades, but the menu had sauce options that didn't contain those allergens, which made the experience so much easier. Yay for Pesto. He loved the focaccia so much that he said he'll be coming back just to order it plain to go! I enjoyed my Giuseppe Pizza, Sardinia Sunrise, and lemonade. As a bit of a lemonade aficionado, I have to say the lemonade here is good, not that subpar Minute Maid stuff. Everything was delicious, and we'll definitely be back!

I've ordered delivery and pick up, and both times the food has been ready within 20 minutes and been PIPING hot when I get it. The quality is just as good as the sit down restaurant in Culver City. This location does provide French bread rather than the focaccia the Culver City location provides, which I dearly miss, but other than that the menu does not feel limited at all. I've tried several signature sauces as well as a couple of the specials, and nothing has disappointed. Always a great experience eating at Pasta Sisters!

Their handmade…read morepastas are delicious, and we were excited to try their location on the border of Costa Mesa and Newport Beach. The extraordinary thing about the Pasta Sisters is that they offer house made pastas, which guarantees a higher price point, but offers unparalleled texture. The spaghetti has a "bite" that you get from a true "al dente" pasta. Their cheese tortellini were incredibly rich and cheesy, but a touch salty. The drawback of this location is that it's a ghost kitchen. You order it online and the order will be ready for you when you come in to pick it up. The location does not have seating, and you eat it at your own convenience. If you live/work locally, then this can be definitely worth checking out. Because I live out of town, I have to enjoy it either in my car, after a long drive home, or at my wife's office; however, I want to enjoy these $20 pastas in a restaurant, with wine and good company. A ghost kitchen is very different than a restaurant experience. I hope they do choose to bring their restaurant to the OC one day.

This is truly a neighborhood spot wedged in between a Wax Salon and a Laundromat…read more You can remove your slacks and have a wax then eat hearty food that's hard to beat and finally launder your Marinara'ed Versace Raw Silk shirt, not that this is a place to wear such a thing. Think of this as a full service night out. Caveat: I got caught in the OC Fair traffic which wasn't fair at all. Once I Wazed to the parking lot I walked in and a Staffer measured my level of angst and suggested I take deep breaths while he lead me to my table in a small cozy dining room. The Decor: An enlarged map of the Autostrada where you can go really fast while dining really slow. Thankfully, there was no blaring loop of Dean Martin telling you what happens when the Moon hits your eye like a big Pizza Pie. Water and wine are offered as soon as you've made your nest. Settle in as the frenetic rush remains outside. You're on Italian time here. This family owned place emphasizes enjoying a leisurely lovely meal of dishes you'll recognize. Filomena's is an O. G. style Red Checkered Table Cloth restaurant with no table cloths. Why should the owners pay for endless laundry even if it is next door. So, when you splash Sunday Gravy (Marinara with meat and plenty of meat drippings) that will never come out of your fancy scoop neck blouse no matter what you try and how much you cry. So, come as casual as you can without being indecent. Who're dining with you? Regulars and those who haven't been regular in years. The Staff: Efficient. My guy took my table's order before going to handle the Girls Night Out party of 22 in the private dining room. "If we don't put your order in now the kitchen will get slammed and you'll wait half an hour for your appetizers and then write a crappy review". The Food: There is an ambitious menu here featuring all things an Italian family would enjoy. In fact, any family would enjoy the classics served here. The large menu offers the usual suspects. All the pasta is house made along with all the Sauces, albeit, most of the Sauces are laced with Cream. Go ahead, show your arteries who's really runnin' the show. The Calamari Fritti was a solid choice. A good sized pile of hands, feet and rings served with Lemon Wedges for the purists and a cup of slightly spicy thick Marinara. The Calamari kept is crackling crispy crunch from the first tubular slice to the last tentacle that reached out. Often Calamari Fritti is good for two bites before it turns into a soggy sponge. Not here as the fry cook knows how to make this just right every night. The added plus is that the portions are heroic and suitable for any Roman Centurion. The Pappardelle with Bolognese consisted of long wide nicely cooked flat noodles with a serious pour of meaty Ragu over the whole works. If you're a giver, there is enough to share with two others. The Wedding Soup came in a bowl you could bathe a German Shepherd in. It began with Carrots, Celery and Onions, floating in a Consomme along with a handful of small light Meat Balls. Forget the wedding night, and just order a second bowl of Soup. The Garlic Bread that came with the Soup was nothing to write home or you about, for that matter. The Bread is outsourced and best for mopping anything you've eaten before the busser shows up to collect the plates. The Linguini Vongole featured Manila Clams in the shell and lots of Clam bits. The Linguini was perfectly cooked and stood up well to the the pleasant Clam chew. This version is what Clam Pasta can be and most often falls short of the mark. The Chicken Parmesan was a Breast pounded thin, breaded, fried and then buried under a chunky Maranara Sauce with a layer of melted Mozz as thick as your favorite flannel shirt. The whole thing was the size of a hub cap. At Filomena's you'll eat like battalions of Italians. I'll be back and I Filomean it.
