    Veggie slice
    Angela C.

Expensive for what you get. Ordered a veggie slice late at night and came out to $5.50. Not gonna lie, pretty tasteless. Disappointing because it's so close to my place but it will not be my neighborhood spot.

Worker in the white shirt is rude and cut me off twice while trying to talk its always something with that guy Worker in the black shirt was quick and cool and honestly the only reason i didnt cause a scene

Really bad pizza. The chicken on my slice tasted like it came out of a freezer and wasn't properly defrosted.

Old stale fries delivered , I couldn't eat them

Ordered cheesy fries which I won't be eating. They felt comfortable giving me old dried up fries. I also ordered a Falafel Pita which is supposed to have salad, hummus and some other sauces instead they chopped up a tomatoes into 3 huge pieces and slapped a pickle in there and gave the tiniest amount of hummus. Whoever is running the shift during the day is slowly kill the business. Waste of time and money. Delivery was quick but I can see why as this food would have taken seconds to put together

Quick bit. Great service. A little on the expensive side for a slice but it's worth it. Check them out.

I also consider myself a pizza connoisseur, next to ribeyes, barbecue and key lime pie, I'm probably saying my fourth is pizza. It's totally different than Chicago pizza, and I think it's because of the water I really do!!! What separates pizza places are either the ingredients, or in this place, what separates them is their crust. They make everything fresh right in front of you, pictures are below. Jennie took our order and she walked us through the menu. We ended up getting a big margherita pizza. My son got the 2 tomato slices, he isn't a big cheese fan. My wife got pepperoni, they have beef pepperoni or pork pepperoni. Mikey Love was really cool he came out and greeted me. My kids got a drink, and then guess what, their gelato was actually top tier. I went for pizza and found out the Geloto was was awesome. You go to a pizza place and then get gelato. They had vanilla and watermelon, it was so good. I got some for my daughter, I tasted it, and one of my self them one of my sons wanted some as well. Bernadette was making them and having a great time. Great Vibe here If you come to Brooklyn and you want great pizza, you need to try this place. This place is absolutely awesome.

I think this is what Detroit pizza should taste like (haven't been to MI) but it's one of my favorite types of pizza besides classic NY or Sicilian. They have a variety of flavors and various sizes including personal to large. The prices are reasonable and portions are filling. I went on a busy Friday night for take out and the host was great. She got me set up and ready within 10 minutes. The shop was busy at 11pm to closing and everyone looked like they were having a good time. It's a bar pizza shop in the heart of Williamsburg. The personal size is two slices, while you have do two flavors for the larger sizes. This was the perfect amount for one though. The pizza comes out piping hot with so much flavor. I really enjoyed this one, especially the thick and crispy crust. The sauce and fillings are overflowing, so it gets a bit messy to eat but can't complain. They even offer free WiFi here, which is kind of cool. The spot is filled with nostalgic tapes, movies, and games that feel like a throwback. Best to come with more people and try a variety of flavors here though.

He took the reins of this neighborhood staple in 2000, following in the footsteps of his father, Luigi Lanzo, who opened the shop in 1973. I've had my eye on New York's top pizza spots for a while, and I finally made it to Luigi's Pizza. When my son and I arrived, there was already a line outside. I spotted Gio and his team busy pulling fresh pies out of the oven. I ordered a Grandma slice, a white slice, and my son went for a pepperoni slice. It's a cash-only place, and my order was ready in about ten minutes. The Grandma slice was quite dense, with a cracker-like crust. It tasted okay, but I wasn't sold on it and ended up leaving it in the box. The white slice was a bit better--with a crispy crust and a strong garlic flavor I really enjoyed. My son said his pepperoni slice was alright, nothing extraordinary. The service was friendly, and I'm glad I finally got to try one of New York's iconic pizza spots.

I've eaten here, come to the Bushwick Block Party to see Action Bronson perform, and spent enough time around Tiki Disco to associate the place with a particularly inventive, free-spirited period in the neighborhood. The dining area still has that wonderfully idiosyncratic character: exposed beams, communal tables, mismatched details, and an open kitchen turning out genuinely excellent pizza. What impresses me most is how naturally Roberta's became more than a restaurant. Food, music, parties, outdoor spaces, and an extraordinary mix of people all seemed to converge here, giving the place a cultural gravity that could never have been designed by committee. It remains one of those places that instantly takes me back to my bachelor years and an especially fun chapter of my time in the city, when Bushwick felt endlessly creative, and Roberta's seemed to sit comfortably at its center. Not sure what the menu currently says, but the menu from just 3 months ago said it's 18% for a party under 6. Maybe they've changed it. Not sure. This is the first restaurant we've been to with 20% auto gratuity for a party under 6. But the borderline dishonest part is that the check that you sign tells you in tiny letters that tip was already added, but has huge font for additional tip and written out tip calculations, so it is very easy to tip 40% without noticing. Sometimes I do tip extra generously, but I don't want to feel like I was tricked into doing it! Looking thru reviews here, I see other people also experienced this, including people in small parties who were locked into the 20% when it should have definitely been 18%. :/ So close to a good experience, but ruined by tricksy billing.
