Got in right before the lunch special ended and got a half sandwich with fries. The sandwich was a little difficult to eat but super tasty. We went the day the US played in the World Cup and they had multiple TVs on and the audio over the speakers. Really good watching experience. You order at the counter and they call your name when it's ready.

another Caribbean restaurant added to our list. we had the chicken sandwich, Caribbean plato and ofcourse Yuca fries. the chicken sandwich was amazing and like all Caribbean sandwiches, they leak delicious juices as you take a bite of the sandwich. the plato was amazing, the beans in particular was delicious along with the chicken and the corn. nothing why ever goes wrong with yuca fries. parking seemed very limited, however there is a paid parking lot adjacent to the restaurant.

Incredible ham and cheese sandwich! My husband and I were craving a quick bite before a late night concert, and a sandwich sounded good. Considering there were several shows in the area, the restaurant was busy, but we scored a seat at the counter. I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich, my husband ordered the Famous Caribbean Roast sandwich. They elevate a ham and cheese sandwich with banana peppers, sautéed onions, and a yummy sauce that melts in with the cheese. Thick slices of ham, too. I couldn't believe how delicious it was with such a simple name! My husband said the roast was so tender and juicy. The sandwiches are delicious, but messy. Grab extra napkins and take advantage of the weather napkins they have.

Paseo has a huge reputation in Seattle for their roast pork sandwiches, so I was pretty hyped to finally try their sandwich. It was a rainy Saturday around 12:30 PM and there were only a few other tables inside. Parking is a little confusing as the lot is mostly paid spaces, with only 4-5 spots dedicated to Paseo. Not sure what you're supposed to do if it gets a bit busier. Caribbean Roast (2.75/5): Unfortunately, I thought the pork was quite overcooked. It wasn't unbearably dry, but it was very chewy. That combined with the chewy bread makes for a bit of a jaw work out. Tostones (3/5): Could be crispier, but had a good amount of salt. I wish I enjoyed their sauce a little more (needed to be just amped up on all fronts a bit more), but it's not bad.

I haven't had Paseos in a long time, so I decided to give it another try(perhaps location matters) .The sandwich itself wasn't as good as I remembered--felt like it was missing a bit of the flavor I used to love and a bit dry. We also got the mango habanero wings, which were spicy but still a little lacking in flavor. As for parking, it's very limited. There are only about five spots since a parking company owns most of the lot, so I'd recommend not parking there unless you plan to pay. There's a fair amount of seating if you're dining inside, which is nice.

A friend of mine raved about this place. I took my daughter and two grandchildren. We had the famous Caribbean sandwich, a side of black beans, one ear, roast, corn, fries, a margarita and a cider. $88. That seems like a lot for lunch. The sandwich was very soggy. No fresh vegetables at all, just sliced roast pork and grilled onions. The taste was OK. The fries were nothing special. The cider was good. The black beans were bland. The service was excellent. Very polite and accommodating. Overall, okay but expensive food, superb service.

Always a must stop when we're in town! Here for the Caribbean Roast!!! But everything here is great! Flavors are bold, sandwiches are juicy & drinks are ice cold! Yuca fries for the win! Until we see you again!!!!

The food here is SO GOOD. The sandwiches are amazing. I brought my parents who were visiting from out of town and after my dad tried his sandwich he ordered another one so he could eat it the next day. Definitely one of the best sandwiches I've had in Seattle.

Yuca fries- so pillowy soft and crispy all together, perfection.

During my first visit to Paseo, I indulged in their sweet chili prawn skewers, Caribbean roast sliders, and their famous roasted street corn--and everything was absolutely delicious. The Caribbean roast featured their signature slow-roasted pork, paired with fresh cilantro, tangy pickled jalapeños, caramelized onions, and crisp romaine. The pork was incredibly moist and juicy, bursting with flavor in every bite. The roasted street corn was a standout, generously coated in a luscious garlic aioli, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese, fresh cilantro, and a mix of spices. The blend of sweet and savory, paired with the bold garlic undertones, made it an unforgettable treat. The prawn skewers were perfectly cooked, glazed in a flavorful chili sauce that added just the right amount of heat and sweetness. For parking, the restaurant lot is paid, but there are free street parking options nearby if you're willing to search a bit.

#1 over rice instead of bread and tostones

Pretty sure there's half a pound of pork sitting in my belly still....ordered the number best seller and it was crammed full of meat, more meat than anything else. This sandwich is a mess, it's hefty and definitely worth the money. The real star of the show is the tostones, always get tostones, crispy, dense, salty, hot...dipped in aioli is perfection. Interior is clean, food comes out quick, service is prompt.

I love this place. I keep forgetting there's a location in sodo. So much closer than driving anywhere else. Last time I was here there was HH and service was great. I ordered a roasted corn and Alaskan cod sandy combo. I've never had the Alaskan cod before and it was soo good. A bit messy but I enjoyed it. If we didn't make HH I would have ordered the scallop because that's my favorite one. I had a good time here and the margarita I ordered was so good. Will be back preferably when there isn't a mariners game ending haha.

Paseo Jambalaya - do not get this. It was not good and was spicy enough to cause terrible heartburn/gastritis
    Dan H.

Caribbean roast and fries taste the same here as the other locations so can't complain about that. Service was quick. Restaurant has lots of seating in contrast to some of the other un bien and paseos locations I've been to but it's pretty bare bones, def nothing fancy inside. Great location within walkable proximity from T mobile stadium. Parking lot is an added plus! Do NOT get the jambalaya. It was not good and spice level 3/5 nearly blew my head off. And this is coming from someone who likes spicy food. Even if you do manage to eat it, I don't recommend it for the sake of your stomach.

Walking in, the layout suggests they are also a party/mini-concert/event space. Service is casual; we were told to sit anywhere. I should have boogied my way to the table. Our server was helpful, guiding portion size and optional sides. The Food: Jerk Chicken plate, add steamed veggie, $20 + $2 - 5 Stars True to the jerk seasoning, theirs is spicy, as it should be. I find it annoying when jerk seasoning isn't spicy enough. The seasoning tastes even spicier when I drink water, and the heat spreads. So good! I was also happy they use boned chicken, which is more flavorful. I asked about veggies, that is $2 extra. Oxtails plate, add rice & peas, $24 + $1 - 5 Stars With beefy stock, these oxtail pieces are well-seasoned and paired well with root vegetables. A small salad and the rice & peas are a good match to the oxtail. I enjoy seeing oxtails used in different recipes. Jamaican patty, $5 - 5 Stars These beef meat pies are freshly baked and arrived at our table smoking hot. We were happy that we ordered two, so we wouldn't have to share. Haha. Very delicious. Plantains, $8 - 5 Stars From the appetizers portion of the menu, these are perfectly fried, caramelized, with minimal blackened carcinogens. This plate was a particularly good batch.

One thing to note: there are no physical menus; instead, you order and pay using QR codes at the table. We started with the aloo pies and, of course, couldn't pass up the jerk chicken. Everything arrived at once rather than in courses, but it didn't take away from the experience. Every dish was packed with flavor. The aloo pies had a taste reminiscent of samosas :: crispy on the outside with a warmly spiced filling :: and were served with a tangy chutney that complemented them perfectly. The jerk chicken was the standout. Tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned with warm, balanced spices :: it was easily the highlight of the meal. It came with rice and peas (beans), which were some of the best we've had, along with a simple green salad that surprised us with its freshness and bright citrus vinaigrette. We also had the pleasure of chatting with Pam, who was just as warm and welcoming as the food she prepares. She mentioned that they often have live music on weekends, which sounds like a great reason to return. I also noticed they offer an all-you-can-eat buffet on Wednesdays, and after this experience, I'm especially excited to come back and try more of the menu.
