Sadly was not very impressed with our visit here. When you walk inside it seems like it'll be really good since it's a grand hall with Italian vibe and decor. There was only one waitress serving the whole restaurant and there were many tables, so this made service pretty slow. She was very nice but it just took too long since she was managing so much at once. We got the phyllo triangles for appetizer, which were just okay because the cheese was entirely too potent and felt really strong to eat. We got the bellagio chicken pasta, pasta pascucci, and Genoa. Some of the ravioli were uncooked, and the chicken was supposed to come in a bow tie shape but came as penne and also was doused in oil. When we asked for a mocha coffee, they didn't have any. It's sad to say the only nice thing about the place was the decor.

Salad for the lunch special...I like the sliced carrots, a different way to slice it compared to other places.

Came here for burger week for round 4... The menu swayed me to their lunch special. I ended up getting the ravioli sampler while the wife got the burger week burger. The ice tea here is super delicious and we had many refills! They do offer garlic bread with real garlic. The burger week burger is a generous size and my favorite of the day. You can taste the charbroil flavor! Wife was offered bbq, terayaki, ketchup and mustard but ended up using just the ketchup and mustard. My ravioli sampler was nice for an indecisive person like me. It allowed me to try a small piece of each ravioli so I didn't get flavor fatigued. The texture of the ravoli was nice and bouncy. I believe they are going to close soon. So if youve been wanting to try this place ..now or never!

I recently enjoyed a lunch here and am never disappointed with my meal at Pascucci's! Everything they prepare is delicious. From the garlic bread to start the meal and the section of entrees- you will find something for everyone here. Being that it was lunch, I opted for something lighter to keep me going during the work day. The Mediterranean salad with chicken is so good! I love the salad dressing and the incorporation of bell peppers and olives add the perfect touch. This spot is always a hit! They are in the busy downtown setting of Santa Barbara but there are convenient public parking garages nearby.

Okay, so this is one of those hidden gems. The wife and I came into Pascucci for some Italian food and we were taken by surprise with the size of the restaurant, the atmosphere of the restaurant, the dinning equipment, the food and options of deliciousness. I ordered hot tea, which they bring out a variety of teas for you to pick, mix and have the strength be strong. Their cold tea is a strong and flavorful. Okay now to the best part, my wife ordered a plate that had salmon and butternut squash raviolis. Her meal melted in your mouth, it was cooked just perfect. My meal was a chicken piccata, the chicken was so flavorful and delicious that I was in love at first bit. Our whole experience continued with awesome service and delectable desserts with cheesecake and tiramisu. To our server thank you for all the hard word that the staff and you do.

I got the Santa Margherita panini with Caesar salad. I really liked the Caesar salad--sauce wasn't heavy and there was a good amount of cheese. The panini itself was fluffy and soft. The pesto and basil flavor was really nice. The veggies were fresh too. I didn't think I would like this dish as much as I did! As for the other stuff, they do have free garlic bread, but it's quite bland. The lighting is really dim and reminds me of the lighting in Cheesecake Factory. The restaurant was severely understaffed when we went but the waiter was nice and the food surprisingly didn't come out too slow!

The table was broken and had a sharp exposed edge that I was eating at. The food was fine, but compared to the food that is in the area would suggest elsewhere

2.5 stars. I was underwhelmed. Cacophonous in new space. Slow service at first but it thankfully got better. Fish special ok but too much dill for me, and almond crust dominated. Asparagus were grilled but they were so thin they were overwhelmed by the grill. Squash ravioli was rather dry and there was no real sage flavor to the "sage butter." I remember liking that ravioli more. Maybe it's just relocation growing pains but the room was too loud and the food didn't make up for it.

The shrimp and pasta is to DIE for. They gave me free ginger molasses cookies. I give it 9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999/10. PASCUCCI IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stopped in at this nice little Italian restaurant. I got a ravioli dish with a tomato cream sauce. It was outstanding. Great flavor, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. Had a great slice of Tiramisu for dessert. Great service, great food. A safe place to stop in for a pleasant Italian meal.

Pascucci is a nice Italian restaurant located in downtown Santa Barbara on state street. I first came in 2016, and I remember it was one of the best experiences I had at that time. However, times have definitely changed as the first thing I noticed was the location. Although it looks extremely similar to the original, it is noticeably smaller, and my favorite fireplace seats are no longer present. The food is also not as good as it was previously, and they definitely seemed a little understaffed as I watched our waitress struggle with taking care of nearly the entire front area. Our first order of house bread came out a little cold, but the second one came out nice and toasty, so it seems like there's some consistency issues. However the gnocchi that we ordered ended up tasting pretty good! Overall, I think this place has definitely become significantly less consistent than it used to be. However, I think it is still a good date night spot and will be coming back to see if it was a one off issue.

On this fine March evening, we opted to sit outdoors. I was concerned with how much lighting there would be once the sun set but they didn't really have any four tops available inside for us. (In the end, the interior lights from the neighboring business helped illuminate our table that was directly in front of the restaurant, and not necessarily under the outside covered area.) After we put in our order and received the complimentary bread (with the provided olive oil), we were questioning whether we had ordered too much food. We attempted to ask the waiter if it was too much and he didn't really answer our question. And since there was only one table next to us and he was dining solo, it was hard to gauge the portion sizes. We ordered: * Antipasto Sampler Platter $19.95 - A generous selection from their deli case, perfect for sharing. The butter bean with tuna salad was a first for me and has me thinking of how to incorporate more butter beans in my diet. Other items included grilled zucchini, grilled eggplant, mixed olives, farro salad, green beans, salami, tomato and mozzarella. * Bucatini all'Amatriciana $22.95 - We opted for this as it was a described as a traditional dish from he Lazio region. It was enjoyed by all. * Linguine con Vongole $26.95 - Next to arrive was the linguine, which was the absolute favorite for us all. It was light, filled with clams, and just had a great taste overall. * Farfalle al Pesto $19.95 - The Little Gal wanted pesto, but this version was so heavy. It was exhausting to eat and probably our least favorite. * Polenta Del Montanaro $21.95 - The mushrooms and polenta sounded amazing, but again this was very heavy for us. There were also a few hard bits of polenta mixed in. It was just overwhelming in not the best way. Overall, the portions are HUGE and just perfect for sharing. We would have dreaded being stuck with one dish on our own as it's just too much. We were also concerned about the $3.95 split charge fee that may apply, hence why we went with four entrees. You can easily get your fill with a few items here without breaking the bank. I can definitely see why they have such great ratings. The restroom is located in the back, so you do need to walk outside to access the restroom. I guess this avoids having you walk through the kitchen to get there. Service was fine. We did have one primary waiter but the other staff stepped in when necessary. It was pretty busy for a weekday evening, at least for all the outside tables. Since it's a bit away from the touristy area, you do get a sense there are more locals enjoying this spot.

It is a small space so we were seated very close to two other tables (the kind of close where it's hard to focus on your own convo). We ordered the Caesar Salad to start. I feel like I've had this exact salad (as in gem lettuce, breadcrumbs, lemony dressing) other places executed a little better. The breadcrumbs were almost too hard creating a grainy/sandy texture rather than a nice crunch. Good flavor though. We also got the Meatballs "Alla Vodka." This was the highlight of the meal for me. My husband thought they could've used more of a binder but personally I liked that they felt more meaty than bready. I recommend using the spoon to eat the meatballs so you get enough sauce with each bite. Don't want any of that delicious sauce to go to waste! We got the pepperoni pizza for our entree. This pizza was just okay to me based on my personal preferences so take this with a grain of salt! I'm not the biggest sourdough person and since the pizza is fermented it has a similar flavor. I also wish that the pizza was a little less charred. I think it was more burnt on top than charred but maybe that's what they're going for and I'm just not the audience. We enjoyed the pepperoni pizza with the house ranch. I really enjoyed this bc I prefer a dill-heavy ranch and this definitely delivered that! Overall, solid meal and would come back. Our server was a little awkward but didn't really affect our experience all that much.
