Fantastic locksmith. I called because of the numerous positive reviews. I had a new front door replaced and bought new locks. The contractor who installed the door thought the lock was not manufactured correctly and spent a couple of hours at the house. Pasadena lock company sent nick to fix the lock. Nick was able to quickly fix the lock, and also installed a couple of new locks in the back. He was punctual, professional and knowledgeable. I also thought their prices were very reasonable. So glad these folks exist. We have a restaurant in Old Pasadena and were doing some renovations. Our contractor said that the fire department inspector would probably want to see different hardware on one of the doors. Pasadena Lock Shop came out the same day and put in a rush order for some special parts that we needed. I have a rental home and have them re-key the locks after each tenant moves out. They provide excellent and prompt service. Unfortunately, there was a break-in in my own home yesterday. Andre at Pasadena Lock Shop gave me quote upfront so that there were no surprises. Steve, the locksmith, arrived promptly at the appointed time to change the locks and reinforce the dead bolts with box strike plates. He noticed that the holes which had housed the old locks had not been drilled properly (they were drilled by hand and were actually crooked!) and came back today with a proper rig to re-drill the holes and took the time to chisel the frame to accommodate the box strike plates. The pricing seemed steep when I was given the quote over the phone but after observing the quality of work and quality of the locks I realize the pricing was very fair. The locks that they supplied are of much better quality than can be found at Home Depot or Lowes and the work he did is far superior to that which I would have been able to muster. I am very satisfied with the work that was done and have no hesitation about referring them to friends and family. I will continue to rely them as the need arises. read more

Steve and his crew are ultra professional they are punctual they do exactly what they say they're going to do and they're reasonably priced. He has any lock you need to get they have access to all the key elements of lock and key services. Are use them to re-key properties and pick locks on multiple occasions. Recently I had to use his service for an eviction and he was early to the appointment. They travel to outside the pasadena area. I've done work with them in pasadena and Altadena. To me it's important to have punctuality, friendliness, good service, good product, and have everything be done on time and with quality. This business exemplifies that and has done so over many years. He even helped with a safe that was left at one of my houses when I moved in. Fantastic locksmiths: talented and professional! Nick came promptly after I called to have our locks changed. He was courteous and detail-oriented.
