Party Cat Garage - CBR 250 oil change.... - Motorcycle Repair Near Me

I thought I would give this guy a chance to make things right but fuck that. I take my 2016 Ducati Hypermotard 939 to have head steering bearings done. This guy doesn't even have the proper tools to do the job. If you don't have the proper tools to do the job why would you take it on.....This guy mars up my paint and damages my steering head nut then has the audacity to tell me its cheap part we all know Italian bike parts aint cheap. This guy is a backyard mechanic at best. He definietly ain't certified to work on italian bikes or have any cerifications to show that hes a competent mechanic. Good luck if you decide to get your bike repaired by this dummy. Only thing decent is his prices. Crazy how people can think they can just wrench on shit nowadays and call themselves mechanics..... straight up clown.... read more

Really cool easy going dude, fixed a issue I had with my headlight and took him about 5-10 minutes with a good price. I also liked that he was able to fit me into his schedule in a timely manner and never got upset when I had to reschedule the first time. read more

Zero. Left my fork screws completely loose, never tightened the steering bearing, my radiator wasn't properly flushed, brakes weren't pumped back up, so I rolled out with no brakes. Over a year since this happened. He apologized and I still have the texts but refused to refund the half I wanted without a review favourable to him. I waited this long because I fixed the issues he left errant and had cycle city tighten up the steering bearing. Tyler told me my bike was junk and to get rid of it. After proper mechanical work the bike has 15k more miles on it. I was going to leave it to karma but the facts are facts. Bike is going strong, I would not recommend this garage. Zero stars would be a plus. read more

I've used another motorcycle shop in the past that I've been satisfied with, but sometimes it can be a hassle to arrange transportation when I need to leave the bike there. Tyler with Party Cat Garage will come to you to do the work, which makes it a lot more convenient for me. I have a used Suzuki TU250X that I recently bought for my wife, and I wanted to have him give it a thorough inspection to see what was needed. I should have had him inspect it BEFORE I bought it because I missed a couple of items that might have helped in my negotiations with the Seller. After the inspection, we settled on what I wanted repaired. Tyler was never pushy about what needed to be done. In fact, a couple of the items he said could wait. Tyler recommended I purchase the parts on my own to save money, and he even reviewed my final shopping list a few days later before I ordered them to make sure I got the right parts. Once the parts arrived at my home, I reached out to Tyler to secure a return visit to make the repairs. As the date got closer, Tyler confirmed our appointment and then on the day of the appointment he let me know when he was on his way. All the work was performed in my carport and he did a great job both in the repairs and cleaning up. The labor hours were spot on, so no surprises when I was presented with the final invoice. I would definitely recommend Party Cat Garage to anyone needing motorcycle repair or just simple maintenance. read more

Took my 2009 Hyosung Aquilla in to Tyler and he helped me out no problem. Ran some tests and found out the problem my bike wasn't running in no time. He walked me through the steps he took and ordered the part for me. Took my bike in the next week and he was done in an hour. Even changed my oil and fixed my mirror without me asking because he had extra time from the quick fix. Seroiusly could not recomend him more. read more

I had a plethora of parts and maintenance work done on a bike I recently purchased. Tyler was extremely helpful, communicative and flexible with my schedule. Can't beat the service or price Party Cat Garage provides, 10/10 would recommend if you need any work done on your motorcycle. read more

I've been riding for over 20 years. When I travel I like to rent motorcycles and explore the area. I've ridden some questionable motorcycles, but not here at Party Cat Garage, Tyler has a motorcycle for you. I went with the Vulcan 800. WOW! Perfect island bike. Aside from the fact you are riding in Oahu (highly recommend), Party Cat: Kawasaki Vulcan 800, my biggest fear when renting is the simple maintenance shortcuts, not here. The first time I rented from Tyler I gave it my inspection. I was more then happy with how well Party Cat Garage take care of their motorcycles. I told him if I moved to Hawaii I would make him an offer to buy. Making a motorcycle look good is one thing, making it look good while it runs like a sewing machine is another. I'll take the latter. Tyler, I look forward to checking out the other bikes! Aloha and mahalo read more

Tyler was awesome. I'd give more than 5 stars if it was an option. Very fast response time and willing to fit you in to any schedule. I wanted to get a valve inspection/ adjustment on my 2014 Kawasaki ninja zx6r. Cycle city gave me a starting price of $1,200. I found party cat garage on yelp... not many reviews unfortunately but I'm happy I took the chance. I dropped off the bike on a Monday evening for a Tuesday appointment. He told me the bike had to sit for 24 hrs to fully cool down. Got a text from him Wednesday morning about 10 a.m. that the bike was ready to go and at less than half the price cycle city quoted me. Also threw in some brand new spark plugs for me that I provided. Extremely knowledgeable and can tell by talking to him for only a few minutes he's a motor enthusiast and specialist. Glad I took the chance. I'll be calling him FIRST for any further needs. Thanks again Tyler! I also read on his reviews he will travel to you. Not sure about his pricing on that because my bike was running so I didn't need the service but it's good to know. read more

This guy is top notch! First, he comes to you which is an instant $200 savings not having to haul your bike to a shop. He is also really knowledgeable and friendly with super reasonable prices. He did a carb rebuild, tune up, oil change and ran all new gas lines in just a few hours. He also gives estimates up front, good luck trying to get a local shop to do that for you. I'd call this guy for all my repairs. read more

Tyler is the man! He serviced my "new to me" motorcycle and it made a world of a difference. As a new rider, I feel a lot safer and more confident on a smoother bike after he took care of all the minor issues. From start to finish, Tyler was a great communicator and explained what was done to my bike and charged me a fair price for his services. Left his shop feeling like I just found my new bike mechanic! Will definitely be back and would highly recommend him for all your moto needs read more
