In all honesty Ivan constantly communicated with us when repairing our bike after an accident and worked with us to (1) get the bike back to its former condition, (2) find replacement parts in budget, and (3) suggested other aesthetic pieces for the bike when original parts werent available. Everything from labor to parts replacement was reasonably priced. Took about three weeks for the bike to be safe to ride (Ivan test drove the bike himself) back home. Hes alway got cool bikes and projects happening in the garage so thats a testament to his wide knowledge of bike manufacturers and parts. Called this guy to get a safety check done on my 2008 H-D. He told me that I had to be a paying customer in order for him to perform the check. Since he only gets so many inspection stickers he has to make sure his paying customers are taken care of first before he could help me. The only way for me to be a paying customer is for him to work on my bike. I didn't tell him that I needed about $2k worth of mods and work done along with the safety check. He had no interest in getting my business, so of course I will take it else where. read more

Thankfully, we brought my Hunny's Harley Davidson to be diagnosed by Ivan; the owner - since he found the reason for this major oil leak which was supposed to have been repaired by another dealership. This was an ongoing problem that another dealership / "stealer-ship", should have repaired in Jan. 2018. We had numerous appointments for other concerns in the past 2 years which never seemed to be fixed properly. Sadly, this OTHER dealership; Cycle City fell short of their ability to diagnose properly & although we had a warranty - the mechanics obviously didn't complete their job correctly and either mis-diagnosed or was careless. Also, the management at Cycle City was NOT helpful at all and didn't want to take responsibility or show any customer service skills, which shows a lot about the entire company. So, after speaking to Ivan, we felt reassured and confident of his many years of work experience and ability to diagnose and repair our bike. I decided to give this place a try as it was my first time going to a motorcycle repair shop. I can see why this place has gotten many 5 star reviews since the staff is very friendly and has a lot of people visiting. What I liked about this place is that the mechanic answered all my questions, had the patience to help me on the phone since I was new to all this, and made sure everything was ready for me to just ride away on. The reason why I am giving it a 4 star review is because the price was high in my opinion for the service I requested. My request was for the front tire tube to be changed, back tire tube to be checked out (replaced if necessary), and a check up for the bike. I provided the tubes, the back tire tube didn't have to be replaced, and the total came out around $140+. Again, it was my first time going to a shop so I'm not sure if this price is normal, but next time I am definitely going to get a repair estimate. read more

Got my Safety Inspection from Ivan. He's a HUGE load of help and very resourceful person. I had some small issues with registering and transferring the title on my bike, and amongst the running around, Ivan helped squash some bugs out. In the end, the title is under my name, and all is done. Dont go there expecting him to drop what he's doing if you dont make an appointment for a Safety inspection - MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. Dont waste his time so he wont waste yours. But that's not what my review is about. This is a true fabrication shop, with grassroots beginnings. This guy builds bikes. He wont outsource anything unless absolutely necessary. He has all that he needs in his shop to fabricate what he needs. He built a custom using an RC51 engine, HOW CRAZY IS THAT?! And if you ever need help dialing in your bike, say - Tantalus? this is the guy! Back when the racetrack was open, this guy went balls to the wall. So you'll be in good hands. At first I read the reviews and thought it was good. I now think that the reviews are fake. I had to write a review on how they do not return calls for rescheduling. I scheduled an appt. and had to cancel it due to an emergency that came up. After I had tried to reschedule and have called that shop 2x on different days and left my number. No response at all! If you are planning to go to a place that doesn't want business, I suggest to go elsewhere. They will not respond and it is not good karma. There was an unforeseen complication with one of the cables from the kit I bought before hand, and I had to get additional parts off island. You may be sceptical seeing nothing but 5-star reviews, but after my first visit to Ivan's Psycles - I can vouch for every single one. I brought in my 2009 HD Rocker because my air shock locked up on me. Ivan was very familiar with this particular unit, and explained some of the problems inherent in its design. He wound up running into an unexpected problem when he found that the previous install had forced one of the bolts into the unit, stripping the threads and making extraction extremely difficult. It turned a simple job into an all day nightmare. He called at the end of the day to let me know he had licked the problem and installed the replacement, and the bike was ready to go! He also shared his deep knowledge and experience with custom bike builds to give me *great* advice on some modifications that I have in mind. Ivan is the only mechanic I would entrust with my "baby." He's honest, treats your bike as if it were his own, and freely shares his bike wisdom with any one with a question.
