Couple cool guys but idk I took my moped here once to get diagnosed come to find out I just needed a new CDI, but they opened my carburetor put a new jet and kept my other #60 jet without asking if I want it back. I thought that was unethical because I needed that jet. Everytime I call always get attitude and always out of stock. I grew up Pālolo Valley my whole life too LOL I rather go Sam's Aaron's, or Dio Anatomy in Kalihi those guys are always welcoming and always in stock with parts you may need, always have tires in stock too, they always give you good advice and information too. I bought a dd 50 from Glenn's in 2015 at that time was selling stock for I think 1700 dollars I through another grand for the boar kit 28 carb and went with the v8 exhaust to be not so loud 100 dollars labor cost bike ran cherry all day all night from waipahu to the airport screaming no problems wish I never sold that bike good mechanics. read more

My husband and I were taken advantage of by an individual whom we trusted to service and make repairs on our moped. The amount of money and time spent on our moped with this person amassed $1400. I implore you... don't do business with Gerard who works at Moped Company located on Kapahulu. We gave him an opportunity to make extra money by enlisting his services and he took advantage of our kindness. Thanks to a referral from Brada Bo (former owner of Bo Tech) he sent us to GCS. Owner Jayson, Brian, and the crew did an extraordinary job overhauling our moped. The amount of work they did to undo the damage done by Gerard was quite exceptional. We found out that the parts that was in our bike that we spent top dollar on were used not brand new. We also learned that their was intentional damage done to our air box which had to be removed. After 1 week, we got our moped fixed and in spectacular condition. glenn is awesome! I went in with my moped and I wanted to be a little quicker just incase I get into a sticky situation. I explained to him what was in my mind and he help me make my perfect moped. I own a sym dd 50 and purchased his 72cc increase kit for an amazing deal installed. after they were done with it I took it around the block and wow!!! huge difference. a week later I found myself in that sicky situation. I was riding in a lane on kapahulu and this bus was on my right. suddenly I see the bus slowly moving into my lane. throttle open and get out of the way. omy. Came in to get in some much needed service for my SYM Dd50. Staff was very cool and the shop was kept clean and parts was clearly displayed behind counter to view. Bad experience before with other shops with more people cruising talking then helping. But yeah solid price and quality work. I will be going to this shop for all future service. read more

Called as soon as they opened at 10am and someone unfriendly answered the phone with "hello", I asked if I reached Glenn's cycle and then they said in a mean manner... "hello... yesss" as if I was suppose to know that this was their business and not just some random house phone number. Then I asked if they sold tubing for a dirt bike tire- the guy who seemed to belittled me because I was a girl quickly cut me off and said "no". I wasn't sure if the tire was for a dirt bike as it was a request from my bf to call and check- the person on the phone didn't even want to hear the size of the tire. I needed to tell him to listen to the size before he determined whether he had the tire or not. Overall- it was a bad customer service experience and I would not recommend this business unless u are in direr need of only "moped" parts even though online it says that these people repair and service parts for dirt bikes as well! I have a Sym DD50 that I bought from Glenns about 10 years ago. It currently has about 22,000 miles on it. Recently, it developed a problem, and was running intermittently, like it wasn't getting enough fuel. Once I returned to my home, I worked for a couple of hours trying to figure out the problem, but with no luck. Then I took it to Glenns for his assistance. He had the problem solved and scooter back in running order in about 10 minutes. No drama, no this is a big problem, he just fixed it. Good work Glenn read more

Glenn, what a great person. Back in December I was looking to purchase a luggage rack. The shop was out of stock and was not receiving any until February so Glenn took my name and number. February came and he called to let me know that the luggage racks were in. When I came in he remembered my name and put the rack on (which I could not do by myself). Great customer service. Ah Glenn's...I can't say enough good things about this place. It's a bit dingy, like an old garage BUT the service is amazing. Glenn and his staff have saved me a ton of money, made my moped even more fun to ride around and been able to answer me any question in regards to the servicing and ride of my moped. Helps that he is in my neighborhood but I'd go see him anyways if I lived on the other side of town. His staff sometimes works like a professional pit crew. I've rolled my moped (or my girlfriend's) into his shop, and at times had two or three people pulling it apart, changing things, fixing small items and then getting it back together. It's kind of fun to watch them do it. I'd send my grandma to his shop if she was alive and/or rode a moped. I trust him that much. read more

This is the very best moped shop on island. You absolutely can not find better customer service, and the prices are comparable as well. I found the part I needed cheaper somewhere else, and Glenn said he would match it. I went to the shop to get my block pressed together. When I picked it up he had pressed it together, re-threaded some stripped bolt holes and attached a holding clip to my oil pump plug that needed to be done. He did all of this complimentary! He knew it needed to be done, and was looking out for my best interests! I needed another part, he didn't have it in stock, but ordered it and followed up with me when it came in. If I didn't live on the other side of the island, I would go no where else. I will go out of my way to make the drive out to his shop every time that I can. read more

My Sym Jet EuroX sat in my garage for about 1.5 years without being started. After countless weekends and hours spent trying to get it running again for sale, I had it towed to Glenns. We purchased 4 Sym DD50 scooters for Christmas in 2015. I decided to upgrade one of them recently and took it back to Glenn's...what a great decision!! They installed a 70cc Polini big bore kit, upgraded the CVT, installed a better muffler, and re-jetted the carb...all for about the same price I could have bought the parts for online!!! I have a Honda Ruckus and Glenn's doesn't really work on Ruckus', however, they did help me out when I really needed them. My Ruckus would start, but not idle, because I live a block away, I took it to Glenn's to see if they could help. They not only helped me get my Ruckus running, they didn't charge me! I have picked up parts and accessories from them in the past for both my motorcycle and scooter and his prices are fair. If he doesn't have it, he'll get it for you. I have been to three moped dealers for service and all I can say hands down that Glenn's is the best. Robert from MISTER SCOOTER is absolutely rude and has horrible service. I wrote a review about him. Jerry from MOPEDS PLUS is okay. The guys from MOTOR SOURCE are great. Glenn's I didn't feel comfortable as I walked inside because I felt the owner gawking me but proved wrong. The owner Glenn was very helpful. I felt a bit timid because of the small space with high ceilings and parts and posters all over the place. I didn't know much about scooters and should've come here the first place instead of buying a Chinese scooter from other places. Glenn has a passion for scooters, dirt bikes, etc. and he stands by the quality of scooters he sells because it shows by walking into his store. After riding a SYM scooter that I rented from Hawaiian Style Rentals, I enjoyed the ride and immediately sold Chinese scooter-Bravo Sky 50 and bought a SYM from Glenn. My Chinese scooter kept breaking down in the rain because of poorly shielded spark plug. This was bought from Mopeds Plus along Kalakaua from some chill, big dude, Jerry. Jerry told me just as long as I took care of it, it would last long. Wrong! Even after my regular tune-ups, I still had problems, but they were friendly. I have had my SYM scooter for more than 3 years and it still runs great. I have never missed a 1000 mile maintenance and they change my oil, replace the spark plug, check tire pressure, etc. for $15. I read on some review that some poor lady had to pay $40 for all that at MISTER SCOOTER. I don't recall paying that much at MOPEDS PLUS either. The whole crew here is nice. I only know Damien, but I wish I knew the others. read more

Just starting to restore my Vespa P200 and boy am I glad Glenn is here. My tires have been on this bike since the 80's and the rims just wouldn't give. Glenn sold me new tires at a really reasonable price and even helped me get the old rims off (not easy if you've ever done this).
