Writing this review from the booth of Partners Coffee, there are about 8 round tables seated with a mix of friends catching up and those who wish for a change of pace from working out of their Williamsburg apartment backdrops. I am here on a weekday afternoon and when I ordered, there was no indoor seating available. There is some covered outdoor seating, but the rainy day and lack of tables led me to hover. I was able to grab a seat and have witnessed constant turnover, so be prepared to be assertive on a week day! I have been here twice and have only ordered their cold brew on tap. Their coffee is strong, but easy to drink. One star was taken off, only because the WiFi has been spotty (take this with a grain of salt-- this may have just been a today thing). I am not sure why ,but since switching from Tobys to Partners Things are much better (and not just as this location) The espresso is very good (though i will need to try it thru out few locations to make sure consistency is there) and the blueberry muffin was excellent ,the idea that they make it in the premisses make the difference. Recently, I've been introduced to a new thing. Sunday morning coffee dates. And I absolutely love it. This Toby's Estates is a great location for these short impromptu morning dates. It generally has a good amount of seating and great morning vibe. Although be aware it does get busy during the prime hours. The morning after a night of partying, we decided to grab some food and coffee before I went home, and this was what he suggested. When we arrived around 10-11am there was a nice line going from the cashier to the door. My date and I split up, one of us grabbing a table while the other stayed in line to order the food ( This way we would have a seat ). Luckily we got 2 seats at the corner of the large table in the middle. The line moved quickly as the workers took orders and we decided on an espresso, latte, egg avocado toast, and their new chorizo burrito! Both coffee drinks came out fairly quickly even though the line was long. The latte is creamy and on point. The espresso was very acidic that day and is served with some sparkling water ( for you to cleanse your palette). Our food, however, did take quite a while to come out, and we were both finished almost done with our drinks. Luckily we were both having a good time chatting and didn't mind too much. Egg Avocado Toast: The eggs on top were fluffy and sprinkled with chili flakes. The dish is beautiful and served with a side of radishes topped with chives. The dish is huge! You definitely will be full. Personally, I felt the avocados could do little salt or some hot sauce ( None available ). But overall the dish was great. Chorizo Burrito *New*: This dish looks so plain and funny with such an odd empty space between the radishes and the other side of the plate. But fear not, that's where the disappointment ends. I thought it would need some hot sauce as well but this burrito is packed with enough flavor that you'd be happy. It is filled with potatoes, chorizo, and japeneno peppers. Although ingredients of the burrito weren't evenly distributed ( I wasn't happy he got more chorizo in his half ), it was enjoyable. Overall I had a great time here on one of our few organic morning coffee dates. I would recommend this place for catching up with friends, grabbing a quick morning coffee, or breakfast while reading the paper by yourself. I would not recommend it for working because the atmosphere is more of a fast pace and moving feel. The food is also on the heavier and larger side, although they do have some quick grab and go items in the morning. Guys, do the lady a favor and take her out for coffee if she stays over :) Especially if you like her! read more

Lots of people lounging, chatting, reading and on their laptops. Free flow, self service water available. They sell their whole beans by the bag too ($15-$20ish for different types of beans), with roast dates pasted on the bags so you know how old the beans are. I got suckered by a few shills for this company describing how wonderful their Instant Coffee is. I'll tell you what it is: EXORBITANTLY OVERPRICED. I apparently didn't pay attention but $16 gets me six 8 ounce servings of Instant coffee from this company. I'm a bit of a "coffee snob" because I buy green beans, roast them to my liking, grind them an make fresh brewed coffee. But from time to time I use coffee for the caffeine pick me up. Even when I make Instant, I use filtered water to get the best cup. I'll tell you why I didn't notice that I was paying $2.60 a cup for Instant: It was not prominently displayed on the Partners website. For $2.60 I can buy half a pound of green beans and make MANY pots of coffee that are truly much better because I roast them to my taste. And I've found green beans from different parts of the World which are vastly different from one another. Even the most exotic beans I've bought don't "boil down" if you'll pardon the pun, to $2.60 a cup. Not even $2.60 a pot. I feel gypped and I feel like the sites who were playing up Partner's Instant coffee as something special were just shills paid to do exactly that. Maybe they got paid with $50 worth of Instant Partners coffee or 18 single serving packs. People at these sites that promote stuff like this must get paid for their writing. The writing isn't exceptional but it was convincing enough to get me to check Partners out. What I discovered is that when I want Instant I can do just as well with Taster's Choice or Folgers for a LOT less money read more

Hate to give a bad rating, but here it goes: Have gotten espresso-based drinks here a few times (Americano, etc.), and the shot was under-extracted, and the milk wasn't really steamed to get that nice micro foam we all love and look forward to. Loved the matcha latte and iced coffee we got. The ambience was chill, guests are not too loud, makes for a great quiet working / reading location with lots of seating and wifi. Not sure if I would do this, but the guy next to me was even on a conference call LOL. No chargers which was unfortunate. The playlist they had on was a tad bit too loud for me, but they had some Hillary Duff bangers (2000s pop, haha) that made a fun mood. Bathrooms clean and easily accessible (but they only have one), and the cashier and service was great. Partners has gluten free pastries from Sans Bakery, but I tried the Cinnamon Sugar Donut and prefer the individually wrapped ones carried by some Little Beets and Think Coffees. The chia bar was alright. Still a step up from Toby's which (at this location) only had granola for gf. Partners still has the house made granola, plus you can sub Free Bread's Moxy bread on other menu items. Overall kind of pricey, sceney at normal hours, and the wifi can be spotty. They open mad early, but kitchen closes at 3pm, and they don't bring the gf options out till later in the day (???). Good coffee though! read more

I had an oat milk latte and it tasted very good. The coffee shop itself felt a little bit overwhelming, so if you're planning to concentrate on working on your laptop, it gets very loud in there. Not suitable for studying or working for a long time since there are absolutely no outlets. There's only one bathroom. Overall, I give a 4/5 because although the coffee is good, I couldn't really enjoy the coffee since there's a lot of inconvenient things like having to wait in a long line to use the restroom and feeling really cluttered inside of the coffee shop. read more

What you would expect from a hipster Brooklyn coffee shop. I got a cup of the Brooklyn blend and an acai bowl. The coffee tasted and is in line with what's considered "good" coffee. The acai bowl was hit and miss. The acai, banana, and strawberrys were fresh and light. While the granolas and cranberries were pretty old and especially the cranberries were tough to chew on. I was expecting a lot more just from reading the previous reviews. Tbh I think you can get a cup of coffee of equal quality at most of the neighboring shops. read more

A staple coffee shop in Williamsburg that many people come to sit and work in. After not being here for a while I was happy/surprised to see that this still remains true in a COVID 19 world. They also roast the beans here. The process takes place on the left side of the shop and you can take a peek. However this place is a bit snooty. You can tell by some very distinct types clicking away on their laptops, laughing loudly over coffee. The staff are really friendly and answered lots of questions about their menu/coffee without getting annoyed, which is sometimes hard to find in NYC lol.
