i got the coconut matcha latte, which was solid & not too sweet! such a cozy coffee shop & a wonderful place to get some work done (laptops only allowed on the weekdays!) you can definitely tell it's a neighborhood spot -- i observed so many wholesome interactions between regular customers & the baristas!

Great little spot for a quick cup of coffee. Best cup ever? No. But it hit the spot. Quite ambiance. Lovely staff. Not much room to sit. Will be back if I'm in the neighborhood. Thanks for having me. 4/5!

Friday morning at 8:30am - Early for the bus, I quickly searched for a cafe and found Black Brick. It was much closer than expected, and easily missed if you're not looking for it. Props for having a ramp, whether that was intentional or not. The place is rather dark, not exactly my vibe to stay and work but I'm here for the coffee. I did note the laptop free table I waited by. Ordered a blueberry crumb muffin and a croissant, and two lattes to go. The muffin texture was more like a corn muffin. Not exactly my favorite but something in the stomach before I have my first sip of latte. Latte was delicious and great for the bus ride ahead!

This was the best coffee in new yoek in my opinion. Not only was it really flavorful but the prices were great and the atmosphere was as well. Most of of is wooden with warm lighting and little touches of personality scattered throughout. The coffee itself was creamy and rich and under $4 which was a steel. They also had an assortment of good looking pastries and specialty coffees that we will definitly get the next time we are there. This makes it into one of my favorite coffee shops and ill definitly be back

I enjoyed my tumeric & ginger matcha. I liked the decor. Plenty of seating. Scarce parking.. Ordering a small change in offerings drew resistance. Limited food selection.

I stopped in on a Friday afternoon to get some work done and was surprised when I realized where it was located because I walk on Bedford most days and never knew this place existed. Inside is old school dark vintage vibes. Definitely a coffee shop good for doing work at. I ordered a flat white and it was very good, my issue here is that I did not love the service. I felt as though the barista did not want to be answering any questions I had (like the wifi password lol) If youre a regular here it seems that you get great service but less so if not.

You can definitely miss this place from the outside, since it's exterior would not be presumed your typical coffee joint. Luckily, a friend pointed out "lavender latte" from a chalk board out front. You had me at lavender! Which brings me to the latte itself- it's freaking delicious with the perfect hint of sweetness that does not overpower the beautiful essence of lavender, topped with creamy foam of your dreams. For reference, this place is just across from Springbone, which is the reason we were parked out front to begin with. Parking is hit or miss. If you live closer, just bike or walk over. Upon entering, I noticed a fair amount of seating upfront as well as in the back. Looks like this is the spot of those looking to bring their laptops.

A really chill laptop-free cafe. The decor is refurbished wood pieces, so it has sights to see. Ordered a latte and it was decent for my 2pm pick me up. Place gets packed and seating is limited. Not sure if it's the best place to have a large meet up.

Came across this coffee bar in Brooklyn that was everything a coffee bar should be. Delicious coffee, kind staff, quirky decor, and free wifi. This a great place if you're looking for a change a scenery midday and need a delicious latte or a cold brew.

Fist time coming here and the atmosphere is real chill and welcoming nice vibe, service is on point too ! coffee is good I like mine black so taste is important, come early to grab a seat and enjoy the atmosphere free WiFi BUT I don't see any outlets! So ..hint hint ...time limit depends on how long your computer can last.

My latte was good. The vibe was pretty chill, aside from random loud talkers. Place was pretty dark in the middle of the day. Didn't look very clean either. Barista wasn't unpleasant but not friendly either. No laptops in the front area. I ended up sharing a large table in the back with strangers.

Was looking for a sit down coffee shop in Williamsburg, and finally found Black Brick. Menu had some cool speciality drinks - I got the Coconut Lavender Latte. It was great! Our 2 drinks came out to be around $11. There's some good seating, and people come and do work. They have Wi-Fi here, too. They also have an outdoor seating section in the back that was cute!

Came here for coffee one morning. No syrups only the couple they choose to carry, which were lavender and something else. We learnt while in NYC a lot of coffee stores choose not to carry syrups as it's about the coffee. They had honey on the condiment bar, so I went with that. No syrups but you can have your choice of milk. I like the sippy cups lids, so you don't have to use a straw. They were happy to fill our water bottle for us as well.

I personally loved the mini one because sometimes I'd be eating too many croissants and I was able to eat this one guilt free. As well there was a decent amount of chocolate for a miniature, sometimes I don't even get that amount of chocolate in a regular size chocolate croissant. This location is right by Times Square and it's pretty large. There's a second floor where it's a bit of a loft and you can overlook down to the first floor. It's really cute. I also love the teal color they have for the bakery as well. If you're looking for a quick pastry bite, this is a good spot.

There is some counter space, but mainly for standing purposes. I ordered a standard Iced Matcha Latte with Oat Milk ($7.35) and my friend got her usual Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte ($8). Docking 1/2 point bc the matcha is pre-made. I'm a fan of the whisking process bc I do believe there's a craft to matcha overall. Surprisingly, my drink tasted fine and my bev was a good color, so I was pleasantly happy. We waited less than 10 min for a table to open up, but you have to be there at the right time, otherwise you prob just grab your drink + go. Overall, glad I tried Kijitora. It's not my first matcha choice, but it was decent for a standard matcha latte. Their specialty matcha drinks look to have mixed reviews, but I'm personally not a fan of sweet drinks.

I was just busy checking out the cool cat merchandise while I was waiting in the long line to purchase the matcha drinks. The line was exceptionally long! It was worth the hype though! When I was my turn, I got an iced strawberry matcha latte and an iced mango matcha latte. It was so pretty when I got them. The mango and strawberry paste were sitting at the bottom of the matcha latte. I had to stir and mix the fruits with the whole drink. Surprisingly it was not sweet at all and was just right! They made it in a way that wanted you to crave more of it. It was very addicting. I did not get onigiris this time but will be sure to get some next time I'm here. They were just $4 each for miso salmon, tuna mayo, mentaiko cod roe, sukiyaki beef, and chashu pork. What a decent price for one onigiri! I would definitely be sure to get the miso salmon next time I'm here. The place was very cute with nice little tables for individuals. The place was very cozy with lots of sunlight coming in. Very modern with plants all around. It was so loud with people talking over each other. There were too many people on a Sunday afternoon so I had to walk around or cut through people to get my way. It was that crowded. I also didn't expect this place to be on the second floor and the stairs to be that steep. It was hectic carrying my stroller upstairs. Luckily someone helped me get down! The stairs are very narrow so I had to hold onto the rail. It was not ergonomically friendly at all.
