I've been here twice recently and this is definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in NYC right now. Cold brew is perfect, and their baked goods are amazing - the seasonal jam buttermilk biscuit is so nice and chewy. Also love the cornmeal cake (had fresh cranberries!!), and brown butter chocolate chip cookie. My boyfriend loves the espresso here as well. Have also tried the apple cinnamon caramel latte, which was good but a little sweet for me so I'll stick to the more traditional options. read more

Came here recently to catch up with a friend. Decent amount of seating in a cute and airy space, but was already decently full by 10 AM on a Saturday. They're very intentional with their furniture and decor; bright colors and unique shapes. The cortado I got was just ok. Felt underextracted, with pretty strong sour notes. Steamed milk was also not as foamy as I usually enjoy, so made for a less ideal mouth feel. Overall, solid spot, but don't feel like you need to come all the way out for just the coffee! read more

Textbook NYC neighborhood coffee place with a homely vibe. They roast their own coffee in the shop so when they run the roasters it can get a bit loud. While I have really enjoyed Loveless coffee in the past (served at other coffee shops) I was disappointed in my drinks when I made the trip to their cafe. I had a cortado with their house option, Rose Gold, which is exactly what I have had elsewhere. It was a pretty flat drink, like no nuance, and was also lacking sweetness. My sense is that the milk was done well, but that the espresso either wasn't good or wasn't made well. The price, at $4.75 is about as high as it gets in New York. I really can't think of anywhere else in Brooklyn that charges that much, and the only places in Manhattan that do, consistently serve outstanding drinks, while this one was pretty disappointing. Cold brew was a little better: it did have a little more flavor. But it wasn't great, and at $5.50 for a 16oz, that is about as expensive as I am aware of too, and the flavor just didn't justify that at all. It's not in the nicest neighborhood, which makes the prices even more surprising. And the location isn't very convenient, like there is much more nearby. read more

A super cute coffee shop! I love the pink decor, the sunshine that seeps in through the skylight, and the art right outside the entrance. I always get an iced oat milk latte with vanilla and the ratio of espresso to oat milk to vanilla is just right and consistent each time. I also appreciate that an iced oat milk latte with vanilla is $5.75 before tip, which is about $1-2 less than other coffee shops in Bushwick and Williamsburg for the same drink. This is a good spot if you want to get some work done by yourself or chat with a friend - there are only a few tables inside and outside with about 2 seats per table, They have baked goods and pastries as well! read more

Love the decor and the vibe of the space. Unique furniture creates a stylish atmosphere but it's still cozy and not overly chic or sterile. First time here and I only got a chai latte. It was about $5.25 before tip. Honestly, wasn't particularly robust in spice, which is what I desire from a chai latte. Mostly just tasted milky and cardamom-ish. Updating my review as they now allowing dogs (yay!). In the near vicinity, there are a couple options for espresso drinks (like Drip) that perhaps I still prefer, but Loveless has its moments. In particular, I am a big fan of their cold brew and have also been buying some of their beans to make coffee at work. Their 5lb bags are a really great value considering the quality. read more

Cute little coffee shop and roasting works, but very loud. I tried a pour-over of their Kiamabara AA, and it matched their tasting notes. They seem to take their coffee seriously. Their chai latte was a little weak, but otherwise decent. They have a good selection of pastries. There are a few small tables with chairs; it'd be a fine place to go with 2 or 3 friends. There's also a bench around the edge of the room with a planter in front of it where drinks can rest, so it'd work well if you wanted to go by yourself and sit and read. The one big downside of this place is that it's quite loud even by NYC standards. Even with only a few people in the space, my friends and I had to speak loudly to hold a conversation across our small table, and when the exhaust fans on the roaster (I think) would kick on, we'd basically have to shout if we wanted to keep talking. If they added some soft materials to absorb sound, it'd be a much more pleasant place to sit. read more

This is a real review not for the clicks. I went to this cafe almost every single morning, I was doing great. In the proper headspace and confident about my future! I drink a lot of coffee when I'm at my best, and this place certainly provided the ambiance for that. The guys behind the bar know their stuff and take coffee very seriously.
