Banana bread was warmed up which was nice. Matcha wasn't too sweet but didn't need additional sweetener either. Banana bread was not heavy on banana or sugar. Flavorful and would get again. It's a nice seating area, no one bothers you. Some customers with dogs in and out, but other then that it's quiet. Good place to kill time with good pastries and drinks. I went to a Cupping event at this location and it was wonderful! This roastery had a wide variety of different coffees, from your classic darker roasts to more acidic, fruity roasts that approach third wave coffee. I appreciate the connection that this business has with the original farmers and how they give back to the coffee growers with special initiatives! After meeting the lovely owners, getting a tour of the roastery, and engulfing in an espresso marble cake, I left with a bag of the Colombian Aponte for my daily brew at home. When I saw Think Coffee, it was my chance to redeem my morning cup of Joe. I've been to several locations throughout the city (since it's solo location days!) and the quality rarely disappoints. I love that they name their bags of coffee after local streets in the neighborhood. It's cool that they have an outdoor area for fresh air or change of environment. read more

I've been a long time customer at this location, so has my family and most of my friends as we are all local to the area. Unfortunately their new staff has instituted weird rules on ordering, with no substitutions allowed and no spoons or forks available unless asked for. The staff actually preferred to turn away a sale rather than making a food substitution. This stingy approach makes the welcome environment that it used to be, now uncomfortable and frankly, not worth the money. There are plenty of other coffee options in the area that are more normal and me and all my friends will now be going elsewhere. read more

Needed something to eat, and a place to work. So I chose Think Coffee. If you are vaccinated, you can sit inside too (during the pandemic at least) and work along the wall where there is seating and tables, as well as outlets under the seats that you can plug your computer/devices into for any electronics that need charging or power. This café is very cozy, small, and intimate. You can tell that everyone who works here is like a little community, and I saw the manager or the owner walking around a lot and talking to the suppliers/delivery people. And it has a good vibe. The food is pretty tasty, and the price isn't too bad. It's overall good value to sit there for a few minutes to several hours and work or relax while drinking or eating something. It's a bit dark when I went but it's winter so what do you expect. Overall a good visit. And the coffee and food was enjoyable. TLDR; nice staff, decent food and value for price, pretty good coffee, interior is pretty nice, not super amazing upscale or anything, but a chill place with laid back people where you can work or hang out for a while. read more

They have excellent beans, friendly, competent baristas, who pull nice shots, and are skilled with textured steamed milk. They have nice pastries, good food offerings (like huevos rancheros). The stores are modern with clean decor. What's lacking? I don't get it. My advice is to stop in, order a Spanish Latte (a rare treat in the world of coffee), and judge for yourself. This place is cute! It's not my favorite coffee shop ever but it's reliable with decent coffee. The ambiance could use a little help, it's just kinda like your average coffee shop but there's nothing wrong with that! I like that they have pastry options as well as some more real food options. We tried one of the seasonal pastries, gingerbread muffin. And it was pretty good, not amazing, but it was flavorful. It could have been a bit more moist. I always get my coffee here before work and the kindness of the workers helps me start the day right. I also love getting my breakfast from think coffee (at least this location). There's nothing to complain about really. The workers always greet me with a smile and are very careful when taking my order. They always ask what type of milk i want which i love. Love the concept of Think Coffee. They are a very sustainable and ethically responsible company with many locations around the city. The coffee and pastries are delicious and fresh. I had the nitro cold brew and the cheddar scallion scone, both were excellent. To give you an idea of pricing, two coffees and two pastries came to $19.14. There is a lot of seating indoors and outdoors. I think the main reason for the poor reviews is because the service is weird. The staff is just weird. They seem extremely understaffed and just unaware of how to run a coffee shop or how to work with urgency. This was easily the slowest operation I've ever seen in a coffee shop. In any case, we really enjoyed our coffee and pastries! I would surely come back, maybe again on a lazy Sunday. But I would not suggest coming here in the early AM before commuting, or if you're in any kind of rush. read more

Coffee - good, the quality seems good. But there are some prices that I would say "ummm I wouldn't it's there exactly" Muffins - good quality. My gf loves to go there to get her morning muffin. She is the one that convinced me to go. Patio - it's actually very nice, not the biggest but I think because of Covid and social distancing they have to move things around. I think it worked. Woah I hope you're not sleeping on Think. This is where the sausage is made: pastries for other Think locations come out of the oven fresh. That means the pastries you get here are fresher! You must try the weekend-only cinnamon rolls that churn out at 11am! Or if you miss them, then get a free scone or muffin with any coffee after 4pm any day. The staff are friendly, the coffee is great and sustainable (like all of its compostable packaging), the wifi is pretty good, the bathroom's clean, the patio is nice, and the tablespace is plenty. Outdoors has eight picnic tables. Free WiFi. I came at 2 p.m. on a rainy Tuesday and all the indoor tables were locked down with Mac users who looked liked they'd been there all day. Coffee: I had a medium Americano. $3.50. It was fine. Food: they have a handful of toasts along with the baked goods: scones, muffins, croissants, cookies, etc. I had a chai tea latte muffin which was absolute perfection. WiFi is super slow, like 1995 slow. Everything is overpriced and the coffee does not taste good at all. I didn't eat any of the baked goods, they smelled good but someone next to got something and was complaining about the price of it. They pump the AC past the max so you are freezing and don't want to sit there and do any work. And the majority of outside seating has no umbrellas or anything to protect you from the sun. read more

Update Jan 2019: after being excited about the news that they'd be firing up the pizza oven, I found the pizza to be less than what I expected, sauce lacked body and seasoning and the crust was similar. Today my fiancé and I went for some coffee ( drip for her and an americano for me) but sadly the drip was very bitter and the americano was weak, more of a tea. Went back and the barista gave us new drinks but nothing had improved. I think it's honestly and educational opportunity as an adjustment in water:coffee ratio can be adjusted! I really think I've found my coffee shop. The coffee has a purpose, everything they contain their coffee and delicious baked goods is compostable. I love walking in and smelling what they've got in the oven. The cinnamon rolls on the weekends are a small obsession. read more

I like their coffee's taste. They roast and grind it at the place. I have tried their Spanish latte and regular drip coffee most of the times. They offer free muffin with coffee after 4 pm but they turned out to be dry every time. i just stopped taking them. baked items are not so special. read more

First, I want to say that the aroma of their freshly baked goods when you walk in is INCREDIBLE!! Like wow, it's how I imagine heaven smells like. Their coffee is great too and so is their service for the most part (there's one man who seems pretty unimpressed and is rather b*tchy but whatever). I used to always order their avocado toast and was impressed by the big and thick bread they would use, especially compared to the avocado toasts at other coffee shops close by. But today I ordered their avocado toast and it was very underwhelming!!! Two thin small squares. For the same price :( why?? :( Other thing I'll say: y'all need to chill with the AC. It's always SO freezing in there. Not even a big sweatshirt helps. I always end up leaving way earlier than I intended (maybe that's their goal!!)
