Wagyu reuben, black sesame pinwheel, matcha chocolate danish
    Sylvia T.

Hmm I wasn't a big fan of the pastries. Super cool and unique flavors and beautiful pastries but unfortunately they tasted a bit soggy and felt like they'd been sitting out for a while :( The matcha chocolate croissant had a good matcha flavor but was almost too bitter for me. The matcha top also just felt a bit grainy. 6/10 Black sesame pinwheel again good flavor but I think the cream and maybe being not fresh just made the dough super soggy. 6/10 Out of the three pastries the Wagyu reuben was definitely the best. This croissant felt fresher and more buttery and the meat was quite tender if just a tad on the heavy side. 7/10

This location is much bigger than their other location in the neighborhood, but seating is still fairly limited (so I wouldn't recommend trying to set up shop to work here). The barista was kind, my iced latte came out quickly. (Weird note- the iced latte was served in a paper cup similar to what hot coffee would be served in. I could see this getting soggy if you let it sit for too long.) The pastries look amazing! I definitely will be back to try them at some point.

This is a pretty simple cafe in Greenpoint, though what I came for was their pastries. I had their matcha danish and I found it to be a really solid pastry!

Lolol why are the reviews so bad The pastries r awesome, cheddar chive scone was genuinely flavorful (like the platonic ideal of what red lobster is trying to be i feel) and i have never ever ordered a pain aux raisin before but i simply had to try this one and it was Scrumptious!!! I loved how burnt it wAs Love being on the beach and enjoying thurs morning here

Went a couple minutes before closing and they still had a couple pastry options left. They had one of their loaves, a couple of their cookies, and their seasonal Berry Danish croissant. The pastry I got was the seasonal Danish croissant and it was sweet and the berries on top refresh. The pastry was a mix between laminated croissant and cake filling/danish. I've been to the other location (bakery) and enjoyed the savory options when I went in the morning. I would definitely recommend visitors to go early on in the day if they want to have their pick.

The food is not that good. I didn't try the coffee. We had a (I don't even know what it's called) and the inside of the shop was way too hot to be comfortable.

Really great coffee shop! Ordered their Cesar Llanten. It was super clean and came highly recommended by the barista. They source their own beans and bake their pastries. Very modern and cozy inside. It's a place that takes their coffee seriously. Highly recommend and hope to be back soon

So I noticed other reviews saying they've been charge differently and didn't have this happen to me until recently. Jan16 I got charged more than on Jan. 31 Did the prices go down? Or have they been charging differently every time. The day I got charged more there was a different person behind the counter. I usually always see the same person behind the counter and he always makes my drinks perfectly and charges me correctly. Don't know his name though :/

Stopped by this coffee shop as it was recommended to me. The Oat cappuccino they made me was pretty standard, but nothing really to write home about. However, I will admit that my standards for coffee are going up, so take that with a grain of salt - I think this place will be great to fit your espresso needs for most people. It's a small space, and there aren't really any tables - a few stools by the window. It's rather lively on the weekend and the space has a lot of natural light. They have a pastry selection too. My friend got the hojicha latte and they did a good job making it not too milky, which I find often is the case with hojicha lattes - it still honors the tea flavor. Glad to have tried this place out. Wouldn't say it's the best espresso, but it will check the box and make you feeling happy if you're most people when it comes to coffee.

Iced coffee. The paper cup is already falling apart.

Paper cup of ice coffee for 7 dollars. Cup is melting. Only regular sugar packets, no liquid sugar available. More ice than coffee. Interior is nice, but coffee isn't this coffee spots strong point.

Ambiance isn't warm or welcoming due to unfriendly staff. I wouldn't recommend it as a place to bring your laptop as their isn't much space or outlets. Coffee is okay. The hot pocket is good.

Nice coffee shop with fresh pastries. Got their maple latte which was very nice. Their layered pistachio croissant was delicious.

Great cold brew (recommend black or Nola) and a great spot to grab beans to make at home.

There's the main seating area and then two offshoot lounges, which aren't quite as cozy but offer different levels of quiet and ambience. I love all the random décor, antique signs, old arcade games as tables, a million lamps. It's like what nook is going for but you can actually sit down on a comfy couch most of the time. The guy working the counter has a lot of energy and clearly loves being there. The PB banana smoothie was yummy, very thick so could use a spoon. Mushroom toast was a bit pricey but you did get a lot of food for your money, the focaccia was crunchier than expected but all around a nice cafe bite. I just appreciate how this is such a gathering spot where you can watch bk life play out while working, it had a different energy from a lot of places in the area.

Shucks I wanted to give this place five stars but it didn't start so well. The first barista who…read moretook my order was really great. I first ordered a chai latte and he said I could do two different syrups so I got the pumpkin and salted maple, though I was worried about it being too sugary so he suggested I could just do half a pump of each. He asked me what the name of the order would be and I said "Aida" (the phonetic spelling is ah-EE-dah). And then I heard the other barista say something along the lines of, "oh Aida, how about 'Aida' rather not be here", pretty rude if you ask me. And then I ordered the spicy nook sandwich. And when another server called my named to grab it she didn't even knowledge me when I tried to thank her and instead she talked to her coworker while I was right in front of her. The sandwich was really good, so was my chai tea. I really like the pumpkin and salt and maple syrups too. I did like all the options for seating although it was pretty packed. I'd say if you have a big party get there early. By 7pm the whole place was filled. There was a huge majong club that came in and took the whole back area, it was so crammed there were lines for the bathroom. Over all I had a good time. I really like the music too just know it gets very busy in there. The employees I would say were hit or miss. The ones that were great though I really liked. Just seem like the ones who didn't really give attention to customers or were kind of rude seemed like they didn't wanna be there.
