$7 for an iced vanilla latte - at least they had vanilla no sugar free options. I think they had ran out of cups as our had some Asian design on it - that didn't match the store. Very warm on the inside of the store. Decent coffee to get you going for the morning.

Excellent iced lattes. Staff are friendly, a few seats for you to relax and read the newspaper, and an excellent espresso machine. The venue does get quite loud and there is no wifi, so it's not a place to converse or work. Come get your coffee and move on.

I wish this place was bigger, with comfy chairs, beautiful plants, and candles. If it was so, I'd never leave, promise. God, I love Oslo. Their coffee hits the spot each time! Hot or cold, black or with milk. I am a better person after having my Oslo fix, for sure. The staff is friendly and chill. Don't hesitate to get your coffee from Oslo, you will not regret it. *Coffee because adulting is hard.

Our favorite coffee experience in Brooklyn. They used a piston machine which absolutely fascinated me as a coffee connoisseur, so we asked and he was kind enough to explain it. Honestly, it DID make a better cup of coffee than the semi-automatic machines normally used in cafes. The cortado was a little thicker and silkier than normal cortados. I believe due to the different type of machine used. I don't want to explain it here because I do a blog on latteshots.com that better explains my experiences in greater detail. So if you're interested go check it out when you get a chance and see what you can learn for yourself!

I have a very low tolerance for caffeine. One cup will make me seem nervous and jittery, not unlike a heroin addict. So if you see me, and I look strung out...it's, uh, the coffee. Right. Disregard that syringe dangling from my arm, too. It's nothing. Despite this affliction, I happen to spend a lot of time in coffee shops, and I've discovered that I enjoy a nice chai latte every once in a while. Don't judge me. Oslo's chai latte is delicious. The service is quick and efficient, if not friendly. The latter doesn't particularly bother me, as long as the former is true. However, two aspects of this place keep me from wanting to spend extended amounts of time here: 1. Interesting musical choices: It was obscure rock, verging on metal. I didn't really dig it, and it was not exactly soothing. 2. There's no bathroom: If people are drinking things, they will need to go to the bathroom. You can quote me on that.

Went here on a whim and it is now my favorite coffee I've had in NYC. The flavor is just so smooth! I almost wish I had gotten an espresso just so I could really *get* the flavor. I got a latte and my boyfriend got an iced mocha. Both were great. This place is small and doesn't have much in terms of seating, and no bathrooms, but with the amount of people that go through here, it might be for the best!

It's crazy how a small iced latte is starting to cost as much as a small lunch. It's a bit ridiculous, but seems to be a pattern everywhere you go. The iced latte pictured below cost me $6. When you factor in the size of the cup and the ice, the amount of actual beverage you're getting for the price is crazy. It was a solid iced latte though. They offer a few different milk options. The interior space is small, but cozy. There are only a few tables inside.

A bit disappointed once I stepped in, as I was expecting something more relaxing or stylish, both of which I failed to find at Oslo. What was worse, the time I got there (around 430-ish on a Sunday afternoon) they already ran out of pastries! Oh also, remember to ask for skim milk if you are a fan of that, they only serve whole/half and half at the counter. Nothing seemed to work for me here so I would not return.

    Michelle C.

This is definitely a more grab and go place rather than a sit in and relax cafe, which is fine. I got the latte and it was really good, the ratio of milk was just right. The barista was nice and quick. Wished I lived closer to an Oslo coffee location but I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area again

On many lists, it was number one, so I had to give it a try. I went out of my way to walk over to grab a cookie. You can tell that many others had probably read the same list as me as there was a decent line going out the door, but it moved quickly and wasn't a deterrent. My honest review, not my favorite cookie! It leaned a little too dry and crisp and didn't have enough of that soft gooey-ness for me. Just not my preferred style! They weren't bad, but no where near my favorite. It is fun that they have a few different flavors though including the Korn cookie!

The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. I liked the minimal aesthetic they had for the design of the interior. Not to forget, the staff at the register was absolutely wonderful, she answered all my questions, she's so sweet. I think I'm disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. Y'all get out of your comfort zone and try the Purple Sweet Potato Latte !! Or if not, just try this place out. I will definitely be recommending the Purple Sweet Potato Latte to all my family and friends.

While it was a fun and unique drink, I probably should have opted for something else. The topping was literally like actual tiramisu rather than just tiramisu flavoring, and it felt like there was more ice and tiramisu than latte. Personally, I would have preferred more of the tiramisu flavor without the full tiramisu texture mixed into the drink. That said, it was an interesting concept and I'm glad I tried it. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying another latte on a future visit.

I probably never leave reviews in general, especially negative ones, but this experience was so…read moreegregious that I honestly felt like I had to say something. I've worked in restaurants and bars long enough to understand that staff drinking happens, but this was on another level entirely. I came in with a group of friends and one of the bartenders, Will, was so visibly drunk that it made the entire experience uncomfortable. Slurred speech, wobbling behind the bar, taking orders while chewing food with his mouth open -- it was honestly embarrassing to watch. He looked like he absolutely did not want to be there. At one point, my group had been trying to get his attention for another round for quite a while while he stood around talking with coworkers. We then watched staff take a shot together, and when he finally came over he burped mid-conversation and literally had whatever he had just been drinking dribbling down his neckbeard. That was the moment where the whole thing went from unprofessional to just gross. What made it worse was that it didn't seem isolated to one employee. Throughout the night we watched staff openly taking shots and drinking behind the bar like it was a house party instead of a business. There's a difference between bar culture and complete lack of professionalism, and this crossed that line hard. One of the friends I was with actually frequents the DUMBO location and said that the last time she was there, the same bartender also seemed intoxicated, which makes this feel less like a bad night and more like an ongoing issue. The DUMBO location itself is in an amazing spot, which makes it even more disappointing. But ownership seriously needs to get control of what's going on there before someone gets hurt or the place develops a reputation for having drunk staff on the clock. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable enough that my girlfriends and I won't be coming back. I genuinely hope the employee mentioned gets help if this is a regular thing, because nobody should be working service in that condition.
