Great spot for a weekday caffeine break Recently stopped by this Blue Bottle location in Williamsburg for the first time on a weekday afternoon. The space is large, bright, and clean, with plenty of seating--perfect for working or relaxing. Lots of people were on laptops, and thankfully, the music wasn't blasting (a huge plus for a coffee shop). There was no line, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful in answering questions. I ordered the Shakerato, one of their iced NOLA-style coffee drinks, which comes with oat milk by default--a welcome dairy-free option. It was a little sweet, but super refreshing and perfect for a summer day. Blue Bottle is definitely on the pricier side, but it's a nice treat now and then. read more

At nearly $6 (as of Jan '26), it was a bit on the expensive side. The coffee itself was fine, but Blue Bottle is a huge chain and it was really nothing special. I like Blue Bottle Coffee but it's been a while since since I visited the Williamsburg location. It's a big bright open space and has a lot of staff working who don't do much. The coffee is good once you can grab someone's attention to take your order and make it for you. However when we went the area where you get sugar etc was in desperate need of of a tidy and restock - no spoons or glasses - and when I asked for them the staff were super slow at getting them. *let me look on various cupboards once I finally put down my phone, and I'll stop and chat with my coworkers before getting back to the customers*. The toilet also needed a refresh - no toilet paper and generally grubby. This could be a good spot but there needs to be a manager here to oversee the staff, service and general cleanliness. It's either that or their homemade almond milk..that looks like breast milk..eww...and has this weird/sour taste. It's awful. This was a nice place, so spacious and beautiful. There were lots of choices of coffee and an artisan approach of creating drinks. I thought it was a bit strange the iced drinks were being served in the same cups as hot ones, especially since there was ice involved. It was a little sad the cup was so tiny because the NOLA style iced coffee was amazing. I will definitely have it again, but next tie it will be in the largest cup they sell. I'm gonna be honest, I found this place to be super overrated. I know it's New York, but dang these prices are nuts. I would be willing to overlook if the coffee ended up being amazing, but it wasn't. I got the smallest sized iced coffee and it was $6 after tax. It was good but nothing special. The lattes and specialty drinks were even more than that. There was nowhere to sit so I had to take my drink elsewhere. Also, the baristas weren't very friendly. I splurge for Starbucks often, but this place was not it. I only recommend if you're looking to spot celebrities, I later saw an A list celeb was there the same day as me. read more

I absolutely love blue bottle, but I never come here enough! I have an evening workout class nearby and was in search of a place with WiFi to do some work as I had some time. Blue bottle came out of nowhere and I immediately went in. As usual, I got their New Orleans style iced coffee, absolutely delicious and sweet. I normally get my coffee black but knew I had to treat myself! And of course, I saw the delicious cookies behind the counter and picked up one of those as well. I came in around 6pm so it was very quiet which was perfect for doing work. I'm sure this is not the case during peak hours, but the place is so clean and bright, I wouldn't mind doing work here then either. The place is so clean and the workers are so nice. We've come here a bunch of times and their New Orleans coffee is the best. It's definitely a treat and not something you can have too much of. I tried their regular cold brew and was less impressed and it's definitely on the pricey side of coffee options in the neighborhood. It is a beautiful space and the pastries are also delicious so I'd say generally worth the extra couple of dollars. But for real, get the New Orleans iced coffee. read more

Gorgeous new-ish location of upscale coffee chain Blue Bottle. It's spacious, airy, and modern, and seating was easy to come by despite the crowds. Lots of young parents and tech-y looking dudes, befitting Williamsburg's completed gentrification. The acoustics aren't doing it any favors, as it's all concrete, wood, and hard surfaces, but there was good music playing at a reasonable volume which ended up smoothing the sound situation out. I would only hang out here if you like a bit of noise in the background. It's also not the coziest, as most if not all seating is wood, but worked well enough for a coffee break. I tried the cascara fizz ($4ish) for a change, which was refreshing though very strongly lemony. Service good. Bathroom big and clean, though there's a wait as there's only one. My main complaint is that they did not appear to have working wifi as there was no network even close to being named Blue Bottle, and the wifi from neighboring businesses wasn't strong enough to latch onto reliably. Blessing in disguise to be forced to read instead, though. read more

The wait was too long, considering they had one doing shots and one doing milk. The girl spinning milk was the slow point. I've never seen milk spun so haphazardly. Apart from overheating it to screaming hot, every time she tapped the jug on the bench, milk was flying up and out. Messy and so unnecessary.
