To make matters worse, when I finally got the pizza, the dough was completely undercooked and doughy. They also completely forgot the hamburger topping that goes with the specialty pizza. We live literally 2 minutes away. We ordered a pizza and sub. The delivery guy took our money plus our tip gave us our pizza. I forgot the sub and never came back when we called the store. They told us they couldn't give us the name of the person we were speaking to. They gave us a $10 refund so that cost us $18 for a small pepperoni pizza. Ever since this has been bought out by new owners, they are terrible. The service is terrible. Trying to get a refund trying to get someone to help you trying to get someone to come back with your food is a nightmare. I would never go here again. I do not recommend anyone ever coming here. This is the second time we've had a problem since they've had new owners. The owners do not know how to run a business and their customer service is horrific. As a vegan I love to support people who offer vegan options. So we gave it a try. Not worth the money. Pizza and app arrived cold. my vegan potato skins were meant to have marinara sauce - nothing. Asked for plates and utensils- nothing. Hardly any toppings and very little vegan cheese. Save your money! Not worth the cost! read more

Adequate turkey sub. Note that cheese and toasting is the default. Even if you say "only blah blah" on it, they will still put cheese on it. Pizza is not good. Its sort of abominable, actually. Its bland, undercooked and floppy, hardly any sauce, and there will be more cheese on it then other shops' version of extra cheese. The "good" news is that, once the cheese cools and firms, the slices will no longer be floppy. You then have a cheese disk with basically no tomato and no flavor. I'm disappointed that you cannot order buffalo parrot tenders but that was not a factor in this review. read more

I stopped into Parrot Pizza to pick up a sub. I'm not from the area, so I had no idea if it was good. I read a few yelp reviews, and decided to give it a shot. I ordered the chicken, bacon, and ranch wrap. I was pleasantly surprised that the chicken was cut up small, kind of shredded, and the ranch and sauce was so delicious. It was nice and warm, with great flavor. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I would definitely go back. Give it a try!! read more

I'm looking for a good pizza place meatball sub and this place is better than I expected. Reasonable price and the meatballs weren't that gross water filled previously frozen type that you would see at Subway. Subway is of course trash. By far the best pizza shop we've had in a while! I was craving a crispy honey mustard salad and my boyfriend SWEARS by this house made dressing. As much as I HATE admitting he's right, he was spot on! The BEST honey mustard dressing I've had thus far! Oh yes and their pizza is lovely too! I'd take a photo but we've already devoured it! We ordered for the first this weekend and were blown away how quick the delivery service was. The steak tip quesadilla was literally the best I've ever had with chunks of super tender steak with a light sweet marinade, cheese, onions and peppers - so yummy!!!! The Mac and cheese bites were delicious too! They come with a side of cheese sauce with a perfect consistency for an extra blast of flavor - not liquidy (I know it's not a word) or Velveeta like. Really really yummy! Then, the pizza - perfect to how we like it. Sauce and cheese ratio was perfect with a light (but not too light) crust and the sauce was delicious. I've struggled with some pizzas having too much cheese (never thought I'd say those words ) but some places have super salty thick layers of cheese that are just too much, but Parrot Pizza in Worcester was perfection for us. First - this place has done an awesome marketing job. If you go to their web site it looks like a fancy high end bistro. The menu is impressive. But when you get there it is your standard pizza/sub joint. With a couple of scruffy dudes behind the counter. The food is acceptable ... I have had two take out orders. Two issues... they smoke cigarettes in there or out back with the door open, so the place reeks of cigarette smoke and so does the food packaging. If they are smokers I'm sure they don't realize. And both times they forget an element of my order (no mustard on my Pastrami... no extra cheese on a sandwich another time). The smoke stink will keep me away but you might want to quiz them on your order before you take your food away. read more
