A bit salty, oily, and overdressed, but the dishes were easily enough to fill all three of us and the food came out fast despite how surprisingly busy the place was on a random Tuesday night. That is now in the "Specialties" section of the menu and that's what I ordered expecting to get the same plate of delicious chicken, rice, salad and hummus. I was shocked that this $20 "Specialty" consisted of a dry chicken wrap, french fries, some sort of yogurt dip and AWFUL, salty pickled vegetables. The fries were good but you don't go to a specialty Mediterranean place to get fries with a meal described as a plate. Apparently, you can no longer get a true plate of chicken shawarma with rice here. I do plan to return again some day and try the Kofta Kebab or Mixed Grill Plate from the "Entree" section since these still come with rice but everyone should be avoiding the "Specialties" plates as these are poorly executed and severely overpriced. Regardless of what you are ordering, I would highly recommend calling in your order to confirm exactly what you are going to get with your order since the online menus have no details whatsoever.

I will start out by saying the food here is really good, I have no complaints about quality or price BUT the staff is unprofessional and they do not care about their customers at all, and will lie to appease you and then not follow through. I ordered food to be delivered to my work I called in at 10:45 am and asked can they make sure it is here for 12:15 12:30 at the latest because we have a limited amount of time for lunch and need to make sure they come in the window they said they could, at 12:45 15 or 20 mins late a woman with two children under the age of 2 pulled up pulled the kids out of the car and was bringing them into the facility which is unprofessional. I asked what my total was and she said $9.90 and my credit card was charged $10.00 yes it is 10 cents but still the point is they did not mention rounding at all. The entire order was not there they forgot to bring the bag of chips and the soda I had ordered and been charged for when I mentioned it she said she would come back I needed to call Athens to let them know to leave it with security so I could get it later and that I was unhappy with how it had happened the woman on the phone seemed put off and wasn't sure what to do, so she gave the phone to a man who loudly and clearly asked her before getting on the phone with me what she wanted him to do and then got on the phone I explained why I was unhappy and his excuse for the driver having kids with her was she was new and that he would be at my work in 20 mins with the rest of my order that was at 12:50pm it is 3:57 he is still not here. Food amazing if you want to go get it your self pricing very good for the quality service and customer relations obviously lacking, I plan to call on my next break and see if they will make it right but to this point I am not at all satisfied and would prefer to pay a little more and possibly even sacrifice some quality to deal with people who are honest and care about their customers read more

Athens Pizza has the most delicious calzones. Their sauce rocks my world. I love everything I've ordered at Athens. My favorite calzone is the veggie- their servings are generous and have the perfect amount of everything. I love their sandwiches!! They have a pastrami sandwich melts in your mouth.. been stopping in there for italian subs. I have had from many places, theirs is really good, made the way I like. I have been eating inside, its warm in there, but since I work all day at a A/C cold office I kinds like it. I plan on making it my regular lunch place.
