Fratellis was the perfect end to a day of house hunting in the rain. It was nice to have a place to sit and chill when a lot of pizza places are take out or delivery only these days. The staff were super friendly and the vibe was relaxed. The menu was huge, we ordered several subs and a pasta dish. Everyone was full and happy. Moving on down through the places for #worcesterpizzaquest we ordered delivery from Fratelli's. They are available for delivery from grubhub/seamless Their menu has a wide variety of both specialty pizzas and calzones as well as an option to make your own. Their specialty menu is very aggressive and includes options such as scampi (shrimp, mushrooms, garlic), potato skin pie (i think you understand), chicken cordon bleu, etc. Prices are super reasonable, a small is $9.25 and a large is $15 and let me tell you, that boy is MASSIVE, it's not like a bullshit "large". The app menu has all of the usuals: onion rangs, moz stix, chicken tendies, wings, fries, jalapeno poppers, etc, you get the idea. They also have a thousand kinds of subs, dinners (gyro type platters), burgers, salads, and pastas. The vegetarian options for anything besides apps, salads, or pizza are pretty limited. We ordered a large cheese with olives and garlic, fries, and you know when you're craving noodles? I was a in particularly strong pasta mood but unfortunately there were no vegetarian options like eggplant parm (although they do have that in sandwich form). I requested the chicken broccoli alfredo without the chicken. Delivery man kindly left the food outside our door in the apocalyptic era. We were actually in the middle of a zoom meeting and so couldn't dig in right away but I did appreciate the cheese was still melty when we first got it. Pizza- very generous with the cheese quantity. The sauce was there but not particularly prominent. They used real, sliced garlic. I also enjoyed the crust. It was puffy around the edges and sauce with a crisp outer edge. The crust thickness underneath the pizza itself was average. Overall, the pizza was just ok. Fries- they were soggy after the delivery and delay in us opening it but I still think they had a nice flavor. I'd order the fries from this place again. Pasta- Oh goodness. The noodles were fine. The broccoli was of the frozen variety which is vastly inferior to fresh broccoli. The sauce was completely tasteless. I almost felt like it was a waste of calories eating this. I would not order this again. They DID however include a nice hunk of garlic bread which was pretty good and very appreciated! Their pizza is fine but not exceptional. The best steak tips dinner around... who would ever think getting a steak tip dinner delivered from a pizza place would be better than most restaurants? We have gotten the steak kebobs twice and the steak has been melt in your mouth tender with great flavor! I got rice pilaf and a salad with it. Since they changed owners I am no longer a fan of their pizzas but honestly that's ok because their food is so good. We also tried some calzones that were really good. Ordered pepperoni pizza well done. Pizza was delivered and that usually gives it some time to set. It was completely undercooked. Total raw dough bottom and cheese slid right off. Flop? You couldn't gauge the flop due to the cheese and pepperoni fell right off. Tried a more delicate approach and gently slid the pizza across the box. Nope, cheese just slid right off again. No apology and they said they would refund me like it was status quo, but the worst part was the lies and saying there's a lot of traffic in the area so it will take a while. When I called back later, some idiot with NO customer service skills answered and said there's no manager on duty - and hung the phone on me before I could say anything. Run by morons with no manager on duty. Two hours later the driver, drove right past me. He was either hungry himself or dumb as a post. I have ordered from Fratelli's a few times through Grubhub and never had a complaint. Last night I decided to place an order on their website. I received a text confirmation saying "We have your order. Your total of $53.20 has been paid." as well as another one saying what time the order would be delivered at 10:19pm. The reason for my single star is that I never received my food. I never received a call to tell me that my food would not be delivered. I had to call back the next day and was eventually told that the man saw my order, but they do not deliver after 9:20pm so he initiated a refund. So they saw my order and rather than deciding to call me and tell me that my food would not be delivered and I would be refunded, I waited over an hour for nothing and never received as much as an apology. Most unprofessional experience I've had. I won't be ordering from here again. Put it somewhere on your website that you do not accept deliveries after 9:20. Don't accept online orders after 9:20. Do something so this doesn't happen to your next customer. read more

Food is great here but the service is painfully slow, order from here a bunch of times and each time I convince myself last time was just one bad experience. Here is my delivery experience on 4 different occasions: - Order food through phone/grubhub (estimated delivery is ~45min) - Wait an hour an a half and call them back, Luckily I am the next person - Wait an additional hour and a half food finally shows up Pickup is a little better, but also just as bad. Call and order they say it will be 30 mins , wait 30 drive to go pick up and my food is still not in yet. After the 3rd time that happened I waited an hour and went to get my food... still not ready. I really enjoy the food but can't deal with the terrible delivery and/or pickup experience. I'll probably trick myself to order again in 3 months and complain again. read more

I ordered some food from Fratelli's on GrubHub. I got a chicken salad, garlic bread and an order of French fries. Paid a little extra for some dipping sauces. No problem right? Wrong! Food get delivered to me and I noticed the sauces I paid extra for are missing. Ok. Not the end of the world. Start digging into my food. Halfway through the fries is when I get disgusted. I find a dried up DEAD BEETLE in the bottom of the container of fries. Mind you, I've eaten 1/3 of the fries already. Horribly disgusted I contact GrubHub demanding a full refund. They get a hold of the restaurant and tell me they refuse to issue a refund. Best GrubHub can do is give me 20% my next order. So long story short. Went here from basically across the city because the reviews were all pretty good. Ordered 2 small pizzas...one Hercules with chicken (check out the description on it the menu...go ahead, I'll wait.....yup, chicken feta onions and tomatoes) and a sausage and green pepper. Well I got home and they had the sausage one correct, but to my chagrin the Hercules looked a tad different. So I called them not even mad just to ask what the hell kind of pizza it was because it certainly was not the one I ordered based on the menu. Just moved to Worcester about three months ago. Still checking out all that the Woo has to offer. But, I got my go-to pizza place. I ordered a pizza a few weeks back for delivery. I liked it, but I knew I wanted to go in and experience the pizza fresh out of the oven. I liked the crust that much. This is not a criticism for the delivery. I am a pastry chef, so I just wanted to try it piping hot, no steam in the box sort of thing. I was absolutely right. And I STRONGLY suggest you go pay a visit to my new best friends, Noah and the owner, Brian. A little about them later. Pizzas are made from dough that Brian makes everyday, fresh from scratch. He even showed me the mixing machine! The dough was hand stretched as they prepared our pizza to order. Why is this important? Because they aren't just stuffing and pressing dough into a pan, or using a machine to stretch, or, God forbid, a premade, preformed pizza crust. Ingredients are fresh! No canned mushrooms here. They thinly slice all veg, so the pizza doesn't get soggy, and you get that crunch. The menu is appropriate for the size business they have. They like to express creativity with their FRIED PIZZA. Yes, I said fried pizza. God bless them. Just try it. Oh, and fresh made potato chips for their sandwiches? Yup. Something you can't even expect from some of the best places around. These guys slice tatoes, deep fry those buggers, so you get fresh chips. My heroes! Okay, we have established that the food is good, and these guys know what they are doing. Why else should you eat here? Well, the prices are more than fair. In fact, for the labor involved because they are not taking shortcuts, it's a steal. Why else go there? Because Noah and Brian are so nice. What does that have to do with anything? Well, do you want angry pizza? I think not. They are totally laid back, accommodating to every request, and quite frankly, it's refreshing to see a business owner in his early twenties who is not arrogant or too busy to acknowledge his customers with sincerity and warmth. And, he is working his ass off to succeed. He's not one of these Worcester County Allstars aimlessly sauntering in and across Chandler Street in busy traffic begging for money because he's still 'finding himself'. This guy is taking huge risk running his own business, and it's a damn good business, while others his age are still not taking life too seriously. I support this guy on this factor alone! In closing, I would like to mention cleanliness. I respect the man who wears gloves while making my food. Especially after handling money. Regardless, sanitary procedures are critical to me, and that was another reason I wanted to go there and see for myself. My suggestion is to eat in the dining area to experience the thin, crispy crust fresh out of the oven, and enjoy the company. Tip these guys because they are the real deal, working really hard. Yeah, I've gotten the Niko and the Scampi and they were both really fantastic. Full disclosure, the owner's brother tipped me off about this place, so feel free to take my opinion as slightly biased. Place just opened but the service was quick and attentive. It's actually located next to the Galway at Stafford & James so if you're in the Webster Square area it's convenient. But, the pizza, nice thin crispy crust. Fun menu with some cool options. Definitely like 4-5 of these I want to try. Ingredients mixed really well together, so it's a little more thoughtful and gourmet than your average pizza place. If you've ever been to Enrico's in Sturbridge you'll like this place. Buncha nice guys that work there so I'd definitely recommend supporting this local establishment and I hope it's here to stay. Moved to Worcester recently, and was craving pizza for Super Bowl Sunday...based on ratings, decided to give Fratelli's a go. We were not disappointed...nice size slices, tasty crust (not overdone, not underdone), crust was thin and crispy, nice amount of toppings, and to top it off, they made too much white sauce and decided to make another small pizza for us free of charge...that was awesome. Let's start with atmosphere. A bit warm but had a nice cool breeze coming through. Chill music playing in the background (BlackMill). The service. Friendly, professional and down to earth. The Food!!! Amazing!! I had a specialty Pie (Scampi). Amazing! The Shrimp was cooked PERFECTLY! I've been all over the place, even if a place offered Shrimp on their pizza, I didn't even risk it. NO canned mushrooms!! Fresh ingredients, well balanced flavors, perfectly cooked toppings. Buffalo Chicken Calzone! Awesome!! Real chicken. Not the breaded mush chicken fluff. Good flavor. Their doe is a perfect balance between flexibility, softness, crispness, and flavor. I've lived in Worcester 16 Years Never had such good pizza shop around, even one that is willing to deliver a bit out their range! Defiantly making this my new pizza shop!! BTW I came in with two small children. One of the guys asked if he could bring out some pizza doe for the kids to play with! And said not to worry about the mess, they'd just clean it up. This was our first time here on an early Saturday afternoon on our way home from shopping and running errands. Fratelli's was our second choice for lunch after striking out at our first choice in Oxford. I'd recently received an email from a local foodies' site, and in an article about Fratelli's Corner Crust, there it was---"fried pizza." I suppose you can deep-fry just about anything (e.g., Oreos, Twinkies), but pizza? After reading about it, I knew I just had to try it. After grabbing a couple of sodas from the self-serve cooler and ordering at the counter, we settled in at our small table (the dine-in area is small, containing only 4 or 5 tables for 2). While Sis and I were sipping our sodas and I was snapping a couple of shots of the place, our very pleasant server/counter clerk/cook, Tito, brought over our appetizer--the coveted fried pizza. The 3 piping hot wedges of cheesy deep-fried yumminess were accompanied by a small container of chunky marinara sauce, which tasted homemade---we devoured it all! I felt so guilty, but it was so damn good. The large meatball sub we shared (Tito was kind enough to cut it in half and bring it to us in individual baskets), was very good: the fresh Italian loaf it was on was soft and the outside was pleasingly crusty after toasting; the meatballs within were tender and flavorful; and the Provolone cheese and sliced green pepper we requested were plentiful. There was just the right amount of that same chunky marinara on it so as not to make the sandwich too messy to eat. To our delight, the sandwich halves were each accompanied by a small pile of house-made potato chips, which were very good. I'm sorry to say we did not try any of the many pizza selections Fratelli's offers (one that especially caught my attention was a mushroom, bacon and bleu cheese combination). We shall certainly return to do so at another time, as well as for more of that yummy deep-fried pizza. read more
