Cute little indoor food court/market about a ten minute walk from the Commons. We drove in and parked on-street, using the Passport parking app to pay for our spot. There is also a kiosk you can use if you don't have the app. The roads in this area can be a bit challenging to navigate. If it's a nice day, just walk over. The interior is very high energy. I love the metal musician sculptures. The huge diorama by one of the entrances shows this spot in Worcester when the canal was the main source of traffic for goods. This is after all The Canal District. Today the canal is under the street just outside that door. Times they do change things. I very much appreciate these types of eating venues. Where everyone can get what they want. Sushi, Cuban, Burgers, Italian ice, Boba, Cookies. Options. For shopping you'll find a wine merchant, The Market Pantry sells loose teas, oils, spices and kitchen goods and an Irish goods store, Erin gift shop, sells beautiful Aran Island sweaters, Muckross brand hats and purses along with other Irish inspired items. A few high tops are located along one wall in a hallway toward the back. We found one larger table in a small alcove nearby the high-tops and then there is an open area at the front that hold about twenty tables or so. A microbrewery is attached to the market too. All the vendors we spoke with were very friendly. Definitely could have walked away with so much food and loose teas and gifts. Worth the drive for an afternoon adventure!! What I love here is not just the amazing food from a variety of diverse options, but the non-food stalls as well. Everyone was super friendly and thankful you were there. The facilities were clean and efficient. Bathrooms clean, tables clean. This place is extremely well run. Very hipster market, nice little trek spot Came here with the missus to try a different market a little further away from home. Took the trek and dropped in. Parking is a bit of a mess, lots of one way roads and a singular parking lot with a pay gate. Inside there's a plethora of artisan goods, tons of food vendors with every spectrum of cuisine covered. Prices are very reasonable, portions are small but great for exploring around and trying bites for many of the vendors around. Plenty of drinks, sweets, and stuff to take home too. It's not massive, it's very much a warehouse retrofitted to be a marketplace. But the people are nice, the foods good, and the atmosphere is bustling. This place is worth the trek to come in and explore a bit. Lots to see and try. read more

Nothing I had here really stood out to me. I guess I was expecting more (like Quincy Market), but it's a bit small. There's a lot of variety, so if you and a friend cant decide on what to eat, this is the perfect place when in Worcester. It's a cool location, there's plenty a bars nearby, too. read more

Worcester Public Market is super unique in that you have every kind of food under one building. You want Indian food? They've got you. Is it raining outside and you feeling like a bowl of Ramen? They've got you. Our table was full from different stalls. Cuban, Indian, Mexican, and Japanese. It reminded me of the Time Out Food courts that you see in major cities. A lot of these being all out restaurants but at a smaller scale. You also had a lot of options on what to drink from Boba tea to beer from the local brewery that also happens to be in this building. If you happen to be from out of town (as I am) they also have a small area where you can buy local handmade goods, local roasted coffee's etc. Also, if you've got some time and are discovering the Worcester area, take a short walk next door to an indoor mall where you'll find independent book stores, the most beautiful plant store you've ever seen in your life and more. Great level of selection any time of the year especially with the recent addition of some of the businesses like the ramen place and brewery. I would say this is more of an international food court than a market there are some market type businesses but the best way to chartagerize this location is up scale food court for the local shopping adjacent to this area. With that said the food although there are some good options has the same negatives as a food court with some representation options sitting around most of the day in some instances. read more

Great options, ample seating and lots of parking. Love the variety of eateries here. I've had the Cuban bowl at Little Havana twice and it was packed with flavors and texture. Unlike food halls near or in Boston, there's always plenty of seating and lots of metered parking nearby plus a designated parking lot. read more

Worcester is really growing on me as a city, in general. It is, in part, to chill spots like this one. Parking is plentiful at and around the market. There is a paid lot, or street parking for a small fee. It's a cosmopolitan vibe upon entry. It has no shortage of food options that range from traditional American, Italian, Indian, Japanese, and Cuban. There is a brewing co in the back section that typically has live music and a good amount of seating. The market itself is super clean with workers consistently making rounds. There are public restrooms on site(also clean). I tried a little bit of food from several spots and enjoyed them all! There are several small business vendors peppered throughout. It has food court like seating and small aisles to walk through as you browse the options. The toilets were also quite clean for such a busy spot. I tried One Love cafe's Jamaican menu and it was really good! I went specifically for the Doughnut Homies but their stall was closed so that was really disappointing, considering it was a busy Friday afternoon. This market is a local favorite for sure. There were lots of variety and diversity from the food vendors which makes it so difficult to choose what to eat. I got the birria from the taqueria and it was good but not great. You can see in the image there was not that much meet or cheese and it was almost empty and full of onions. The consomé was great, I just wish the actual taco were up to par. I give it a 5/10 because I had better birria around this area. There is a small section of the actual market place where it sells very interesting condiments and goods. I think it's nice to check out if you haven't went already. read more

Just found out about the Woo market today! They have everything here from all kinds of food to drinks and dessert. They also have a tiny market where you can buy hot sauce, honey, drinks and other items. It's like the Quincy Market in Boston but in Worcester. I came here on a Sunday before Presidents' Day. I heard some good things about a lot of the restaurants here. I was looking forward to trying a few of them. Unfortunately, when we arrived and visited a few of the shops, they were sold out of inventory. It was only 5 PM so I was surprised. There were a few vendors that were available, but had very long 45 minute wait times. The only thing we could try was the bubble tea. The inside looks very nice though. I want to try the Ghanaian and Italian next time I am in Worcester. The public market also has a nature photographer vendor that is really good. In Worcester to go to the European Bakery we decided to stop at the public market. My first impression walking in the door was....whoever is using curry in their tell them to stop now. The overwhelming smell takes over the minute you hit the door. No smell or delicious baked goods (or any other food for that matter) no smell of the soaps for sale just curry. Totally turned off my desire to buy candy, chocolate or baked goods. Second impression. This place is just too tight in its design. Even on a day that wasn't so all you can see is parts of each booth and you have to search high up to see what the booth is called. Very claustrophobic. I did a couple of loops around and I was done. So many options it was hard to choose what to eat. Decided to start with the teriyaki chicken with noodles. It was good. Tasted fresh. The noodles themselves had little flavor but the vegetables were good and the chicken was too but a little salty but it balanced out the noodles. Huge portion. From another booth: The boba tea was awesome (I got the mango dreamsicle with popping boba). The pineapple lemonade was also great. Would like to go back and try the poke. Or a burger. first time there, tried 3 places all were disappointing. the cuban sandwich was very dry no mustard, no pickle, no sauce just brought a dry plain toasted bread w dry meat. Second tried Jamaican beef patties but one was something else and they were just ok and third momos dumplings in a beautiful bowl of broth and veggies but the broth and veggies were ice cold, would have been better warmed like the dumplings, i won't be going back. read more

Wow! This European-style food hall has a little bit of everything from local vendors, with a really fun variety of restaurants. The things you expect -- burgers, ice cream, sweets -- are here, and so are tortas, noodles, a Middle Eastern bakery, wine, and beer. There are also vendor stalls with soaps, flowers, and other cute things, plus a fancy-food market. Live music is promised. Table space toward the top end is plentiful, and there's also patio seating. It looks like you always end up paying to park (I parked in the lot; street parking also exists), so if you're a local who can walk or bike it, do that instead. When I lived on the other coast, I was a huge fan of DeSoto Public Market in Phoenix, and Worcester is so much better -- more realistic "stop for lunch" food choices, better options to grab a gift or a treat, better seating. read more
