I've decided to stop at Auburn Mall to just kill time, and explore. Opened in 1971, the mall is still standing to this day, and looking to be fairly dead as I speak. It's one floor, with a main hallway and one small wing in the center. It's a small mall with limited stores and services. Macy's is the only anchor store left, and who knows how long that will last? I walked through and found the hallway fairly clean and kept up, which is important. I spent a little time just taking in the memories, and it's a struggle for malls to push in these times we're living in. Time will tell in the years to come.

Auburn Mall is a nice mall near Worcester. The selection of stores is nice. Macy's and Sears are the mall's department stores. Simon Malls has realized that the food selection isn't the greatest and is working to fix that issue. I have been to Auburn Mall a few times and was hungry and nothing was good to me so I am happy Simon Malls is working to fix that issue. Auburn Mall isn't no Copley Place or Natick Mall it's a typical mall that you can find just about anywhere. So it's nothing that special but if you need to pick something up and Auburn has that store run through you'll be very surprised. The mall has no help desk but that's ok because they have the management office near center court. You can find a guest service center and Simon giftcards. Auburn Mall is the closest mall to Worcester that's not Greendale Mall. If you are wondering why four stars my response is thus place an't Greendale Mall. VERDICT: I would recommend Auburn Mall

Not as bad as greendale but not as good as Solomon pond. They have a few good stores here and there but overall it's pretty blasé.

The Upper Section includes big box stores such as Target, Kohl's, Best Buy and Dick's, along with some smaller scale stores such as Nordstroms Rack, Michaels, and PetSmart. There are a couple of restaurants in the Upper Section, Chili's and TGI Fridays, two places I never visit. The Lower Section has more stores and a few restaurants including LongHorn Steakhouse, Red Robin and Panera Bread. There is a large Barnes and Noble and Blackstone Valley 14 Cinema de Lux. There is also a 110 Grill adjacent to the Cinema. The Cinema and the 110 Grill have their own parking lots. Two new restaurants are under construction in this section, The Yard House and Shake Shack. The Yard House is expected to have a standalone building, evident by the huge construction project taking up a large amount of parking in the Lower Section. During weekends and busy holidays, traffic police are out in force at the Shoppes, in part because there is only one way in and out of this sprawling shopping center. Traffic and parking can be an issue depending on where you want to park during peak periods.

Northborough has more stores and no traffic problem because the police aren't involved in clogging up access.

I saw so many things I wanted to get! Unfortunately, some of them were way to big to wrangle home, but nonetheless it was fun looking around. The place had a mix of authentic antiques and new made to look old stuff in a few booths. A number of booths featured vintage clothing, and home decor, with the full rainbow of small collectibles and ephemera. Also, as an out-of-towner, the directions took me to the front of the store, with only street parking, but there was a parking lot behind the building, and other fun shops in the building. This was on a lower level. Definitely a spot worth wandering around if you like old things.

Very interesting and unique locally owner stores and super friendly people!! I was fascinated by the store " Seed to Stem" which is described as a lifestyle and plant boutique. They had a fascinating array of plants and plant related books/items as well as a full array of interesting home related items...decor items crystals/incense, books and the like. It was easy to spend on hour in the store just taking it all in. We also went to the Aristide in the basement and enjoyed looking at the wide range of items...books, clothing, jewelry, knick knacks of various ages, and general home decor items. A fascinating place that you should try!

I left…read moreabsolutely blown away with the exceptional customer service I received - something that has become a true rarity in 2026! Two years ago, I was diagnosed with a debilitating nervous system condition that has completely changed how I engage in fitness. But being the stubborn "gym rat" that I am, I have refused to give up lifting and sprinting. My condition has caused major changes in my gait, proprioception, and running mechanics, which have been causing me a lot of silly injuries. A close friend recommended Sneakerama, theorizing that maybe "the right" shoes could help. I was skeptical, but decided to pop in to see what all of the hype among my avid runner friends was all about! When I walked in, I was welcomed with a friendly greeting and immediately jumped into a conversation about what my goals were. When I explained my wild healthy history, Alex listened empathetically and almost immediately knew what I needed - a minimalist shoe with a wide toe box to help correct my over-pronation and balance issues. He came back with four different styles, each with unique features which he explained thoroughly and allowed me to take for a "test stroll"! I ended up choosing a very cool pair of Altras - a brand I had never even heard of before! The next morning, I tried out my new shoes at the gym and I was THRILLED! I felt much more stable and was able to better engage targeted muscles while lifting. These Altras are a GAME CHANGER! Not only do they have me feeling better supported, they've also given me my confidence back! :) Sneakerama is a hidden gem! I grew up in Worcester and had never. been inside... I wish I had discovered this place earlier! They are so much more than an athletic shoe retailer - as a family-owned business, they take pride in what they do and foster a special sense of community to all of their customers!
