Bought a zero turn mower there. Great machine! Twice I needed parts and I was told a week to ten days. I got one of the parts off Amazon the next day. I love Klem's. It's such a hidden gem in the back forty if you're not from the area. They have everything from named brand clothing, sporting goods, a large animal/pet section, toy section and what feels like a mini Hallmark inside the store. This is the best place to get unique gifts for any occasion or just to treat yourself! Klem's is also known for their outdoor areas with plants, soil and anything thing else you can think of for your gardening needs. The employees are very friendly and helpful when I needed assistance in the past. Final note: do not forget to pick up your complimentary freshly popped popcorn when you're leaving the store! My friend and I came here on a whim while we were in the area. Klem's is kind of like a cross between "Crossings" and "Tractor Supply", but a local business. Klem's has a little of everything you might need. Last weekend, my wife and I dropped in look at grills. We love this place because it has unique products, including everything outdoor, clothing, even free popcorn before you leave. Anyway, met Mike working in the grill section. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and knew where we could pickup our new grill. Then before we checked out I remember that I needed a new chain to pull out some shrubs, and yes Clem's had that too, and yes Mike was there to help us again! He actually went out to look at my truck to ensure I had the right hitch to attach the chain! Great job Mike and Clem's! Just fun to shop here, even for a guy who doesn't like to shop. read more

They are out for your money in service dept beware told me had a 3 year warranty went to honest dealer they said no you had a 4 year warranty. 1000.00 dollars to fix a 550 blower . They out of there minds asked if had any in stock same model said yes two. I said will be out tomorrow to pick up old and buy new . This store has been around since I was a child in the early 70's and I believe it was there in the late 60's? They are doing something right either way ... Hardware store, tractors, snow throwers, nice selection of clothing, a bit pricey for my likes but they are quality brands that stand the test of time. Nice selections of accessories, quality shoes and work boots along with gifts, children's toys and my all time favorite... small pet section. My daughter has loyally bought her Domestic Fancy Rats here for about a decade. They come from a local Rattery and are healthy little guys & gals. A fabulous selection of wild bird food and out other favorite is the chicken selection. I do wish they had a bit bigger of an area of foodie & treats for the chickens. Lovely greenhouse that has a wide selection of seasonal perennials and we always go to Klem's for our vegetable plants come Springtime. Cant. Forget. The. Bag. Of. Freshly. Popped. Popcorn. On the way out. And it's FREE! Last but not least, the cashiers are always friendly AND the bathrooms are clean. read more

I can remember going to this store since I was a little girl. It's been a place I have always been fond of. There is so much to see here! It's like a little bit of home depot, Agway, a little of Walmart, a little of the old "Fair" department store, a little of Marshall's and perhaps a bit of dicks sporting goods. The prices are a bit high on a lot of the items but if you have been looking for something, this a place to check! They have a great pet department too! I know they know a lot of the local breeders for animals and it seems they do their best to buy from small private breeders than some horrendous pet breeding mill. Thank goodness. Their fish tanks can be a bit dirty at times and some of the fish are sick. But they usually have a decent selection of fish. And they have an excellent pet supplies set up. They always had nice bird cages for sale and nice toys for birds and a decent amount of fish supplies. They even have some farm supplies and garden supplies as well. There's machinery, machinery rental for items like backhoe and log splitters etc. They have a nice large green house and in the spring you can find a fair variety of garden vegetable plants as well as some boxed vines such as clematis, trumpet creeper, and boxed forsythia and other misc plants. It was nice to browse. In the winter months they have great Christmas displays and some pretty cool items to sort through. I have purchased many things through the years but one thing that stood out in my mind as a memory was that you rarely ever get anything free these days and before Covid you used to get a small bad of free popcorn at the door on the way out. It was a nice thing that they did. This is a store you can literally spend hours in just schmoozing. So many curious things to see! I've taken my kids there too and they enjoy seeing the neat toys and figurines there. You must check this place out! read more

Propane fills amongst many other items are a complete rip off at this store. Went to top off a propane tank that's half full by the gallon as they advertised they do but went there and they won't fill it unless I pay for a full fill which would mean I would only get about half of what I pay for. Also had to wait for 3 of the slowest transactions ahead of me to finish before finding out I should not have wasted my time going there due to only having 1 register open. read more

The store layout has changed making for a much better shopping experience and lots of new products have been added - greeting cards, Stonewall Kitchen, Carhartt, lots of pet supplies. The store quality has dramatically diminished over the years. The old klems where you got nice buttery popcorn is no longer. It's clear that all the decent employees figure out the way the business is run and end up leaving. If you want ugly shoes and ammo then you should go here! I bought my dog some toys from here and he doesn't even like them anymore. They are trying to be big business but seem to forget they are a small store in central mass and will never expand. Honestly, this store has gotten worse and worse over the last few years. They certainly are not what they use to be and it's very disappointing. I love supporting small and local business, but I will never do business here again. It is truly sad to say this, as I've been a very loyal customer for serval years. Very rude staff who certainly do not care to help customers. It seems as if all the good employees that I've ran into throughout the years always leave. That's just a sign this place is going down the drain. If you want over priced clothes and random "house decor" then they will have what you are looking for. I wanted to share today's shopping experience. I told my wife it was or probably the best one I've had in a long long time. I drove over an hour to look at a Cub Cadet Zero turn lawn mower. Wasn't sure what I would find because I've never been to your store. Eric the Service Mgr spent as much time with me as I needed and helped me with a test drive. He was patient and helped me understand the strengths and weaknesses of the machine, he was great! Dan helped with putting the deal together and both of them were very accommodating and not pushy. Ahhh Klems... That delicious, buttery popcorn smell! Their impressive variety of items is pretty serious. I would say there is a little of everything under their roof. They house an awesome selection of hiking shoes- many hard to find brands...they have an extensive pet and aquatic section; some live small animals, live fish, etc. I am a big fan of their really nice Carhartt merchandise. They seem to have all the good stuff no one else does in store. They rent equipment and machines, sell lots of tools, and that doesn't even come close to completing the list. The only real major downfall is their very high prices. I will bet the owner drives a pretty nice car... I have actually never seen a SINGLE item, in all my Klems shopping experience, that was cheaper at Klems than somewhere else. It's always the opposite. So while their selection of stuff is killer, the prices keep me more of a "browser" in the store. I do however buy my dog food there, as it's a little hard to find, but other than that, I am not a true Klem's shopper. I think I would need a higher salary to upgrade from "Klem's Browser and Popcorn Eater" to "Klem's Shopper". But I will continue my walks through the store, and I will continue to eat your popcorn, Klems! It's delicious and good exercise! read more

This my first visit was a chance encounter since we don't live close by. I felt like I had entered hardware wonderland. So much to see and so big, from top end mowers to fishing gear to parakeets, and pretty much everything inbetween. My wife bought clothes and shoes, I bought a shirt and jack stands, we also picked up dog toys and some small items. I could have done that at Walmart but the items would have been inferior. I value quality. Also the store is well manned with helpful and seemingly happy people. We intend to return because it is so darn compelling. The popcorn is a fine touch. read more

Pretty disgusted after our trip to Klem's for boots for my husband. There were purple signs all over the shoe/boot department for 20% off. Yes in small print it says for select boots however no where does it differentiate which are on sale and which are not. When we got to the register the boots we chose came up full price. I asked if they were on sale, the clerk asked someone else and we were told that they weren't. I did say I felt they used deceptive practices because the signs are on every area of shelving, even the boots we bought. Feeling very cheated and will never step foot in Klem's again! read more

I've had my lawnmower serviced by Klems for the past 2 years. Still dealing with the same problem. Instead of fixing the problem I've been paying for them to fix the same the issue.My husband is sick and I feel as though they have been taking advantage of me being a woman and not mechanically inclined. I called them again this year because again I'm dealing with the same issue. Instead of trying to work with me they just blew me off. My message is if your a woman don't bring anything to Klems. The store itself is okay; the prices are incredibly high and somewhat unreasonable, but the atmosphere of the store feels much classier than Walmart. The management on the other hand, oh boy. What a cool store! First, they really do seem to have almost everything, and they carry quality stuff, from hardware, to clothing, to toys. Prices are on par with most other places, you're not going to get Carhartt clothes or Keen sports shoes cheaper here, but they have a great selection. Usually I love coming to klems. Today I left furious. I come in quite often with my puppy. She always is right by my side. Today however there was another customer with a Doberman puppy. My friend went over and asked about the dog and the owner wanted to introduce the dogs. My dog loves everyone, people, dogs, children you name it. So I had my dog sit and let the other dog approach her. The other dog smelled her then started barking. So my dog also started barking but remained sitting. The dogs were both about 3 feet apart. The guy working in the animals came over and told us to keep walking or someone will get kicked out. So I immediately kept walking. Then I hear him go over to his coworker and go "it wasn't the Doberman it was the pitbull." Then he went over and talked to the other owner saying my dog and I have been there before and she's cause problems. I was enraged cause not only is she 5 months old. She's in training to be a therapy dog. He automatically assumed since she was a pitbull she was looking for a fight. I understand pitbulls are a misunderstood breed of dog. But he didn't see the interaction between the two dogs he just assumed it was my dog causing the problem. And then turns the corner and ran his mouth about me and my dog. For this reason I will not be returning to the store with my dog and will take my business elsewhere. He was very rude and unprofessional. Definitely not someone I would have working with animals seeing he doesn't know how to properly handle a situation.... read more
