Today the owner accused "old men" customers for aggressively hitting the touch screen credit card machine and breaking it, when in reality this machine has been breaking for well over a year. Actively disrespecting your customers to other customers makes it seem like you care about your money more than your customers experience. Mail service makes this place a plus for obvious reasons (if post office isn't open, chances are, this market is. Carlos for a number of years now has been a great friend, even opening up that he had an entire brisket for sale which, of course, under my companion's careful eye, was "praised 'n braised" (my term for reaching divinity on a plate) and sister .... brother ... it was all copacetic, Mon !! Stop in and get acquainted with Carlos - he's always around and one of the hardest workers around. There's also a full-service Post Office counter in the store, so that's a plus too. It's nice to have a local market, especially one that has a really GREAT owner/operator. I inquired about if they were organic bc there is a sign that says hormone free etc, she just blandly said no bc they give their cows grain, and that was the end of that. They have good products but it's hard to support local farms when the people working there seem to not give a shit about the people walking in the door. Number one rule of sales: sell the company, sell yourself, sell the product. She didn't do any of these things. The eggnog is pretty good, really thick, I like it. But they could work on their enthusiasm for their customers, and customer service hell even a smile would have been nice.

HOWEVER, it's the most convenient grocery store around. It's got a small layout so it's quick to zip in and out. They have alcohol! They always have multiple cashiers working so you hardly have to wait, the food itself is really fresh, and their selection of lactose free/dairy free foods is really good! I have spoken to the management about this and they were very helpful. They even checked security footage, and, given how long I have been a customer, they were very receptive. A woman with very long, frizzy, dyed-black hair, heavy-set in tight blue jeans, appears to have been videotaping me, holding her phone straight up, with her back to me on the way into the store. She then stops, keeping the phone straight up, so I turned around and rode my cart out the entrance and back outside just to get out of her camera range. As I shop I go into aisle 3 and I have proven with my receipt I needed to be there. This woman is standing near the end of the aisle with her back to me and she extends her left arm to show me her camera's eyes. I get what I need and again, turn around and go back out the way I came in to avoid her camera's gaze. She did not move the whole time. After I leave I go to put my cart away. I am vey close to the brick wall to the right of the entrance. She suddenly drives her cart up to me on my right and I am now standing between her and the wall. I see her camera's eyes (filming me at close range) and the back of her head. I turn to my left to walk around her to avoid her completely. When I get to the car, she is still standing there and looking my way. Then she won't leave the parking lot. Then she drove around the back. I want what she actually did to be known if she now chooses to identify me as a part of her life. I can guarantee you no one reading this has ever heard of anything like this at this location before now.

The woman who checked us out offered us bigger bags since the CVS had small bags and out stuff was over stuffed. At first I said no but then I was like wow shes being nice and she is right these bags are actually undersized. Who knew? Such a weird thing but it was really impactful. Very hard to find one when you need help in any specific department or in the store in general. Almost always only one register open or just self checkout, even if there is a line of people.
