Stopped in here to have a missing nose piece replaced on my glasses as I was shopping here. Convenient with a friendly staff and no wait.

Further, the store itself is almost ultra-roomy in a true sense ... one gets the feeling that this might have been the site of a tiny supermarket going back to the 60s mebbe? Either way, "the usuals" that people flock into this place for is a collection of offerings on shelves running along the lines of fancy liquors ... wines very well stocked ... then assorted sodas, beers, etc all occupying one-third the space within. Mail service makes this place a plus for obvious reasons (if post office isn't open, chances are, this market is. Further along the lines there is a deli, veggies on sale, breads, some otc medications, mags, cigs ... the usual. Carlos for a number of years now has been a great friend, even opening up that he had an entire brisket for sale which, of course, under my companion's careful eye, was "praised 'n braised" (my term for reaching divinity on a plate) and sister .... brother ... it was all copacetic, Mon !! Stop in and get acquainted with Carlos - he's always around and one of the hardest workers around. You'll instinctively like his pleasant and august kindness for ... trust me ... he'll be happy to see you if simply because you present to him the opportunity to make another friend. And does he ever have friends! Considering the size of this place and consistently one man runs it entirely, one can see that Carlos is very devoted to keeping this business permanently active. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy ...

Not a big 'supermarket', but they have the essentials. They have some really good meat & deli…read moreproducts such as marinated meats, deli meats & cheeses, a nice selection of greeting cards, some local merchandise, etc. They also carry a large selection of beer and wines. There's also a full-service Post Office counter in the store, so that's a plus too. It's nice to have a local market, especially one that has a really GREAT owner/operator. Carlos is a very personable and very accommodating local store owner! Just what a small town like Paxton needs.

I have spoken to the management about this and they were very helpful. They even checked security footage, and, given how long I have been a customer, they were very receptive. A woman with very long, frizzy, dyed-black hair, heavy-set in tight blue jeans, appears to have been videotaping me, holding her phone straight up, with her back to me on the way into the store. She then stops, keeping the phone straight up, so I turned around and rode my cart out the entrance and back outside just to get out of her camera range. As I shop I go into aisle 3 and I have proven with my receipt I needed to be there. This woman is standing near the end of the aisle with her back to me and she extends her left arm to show me her camera's eyes. I get what I need and again, turn around and go back out the way I came in to avoid her camera's gaze. She did not move the whole time. After I leave I go to put my cart away. I am vey close to the brick wall to the right of the entrance. She suddenly drives her cart up to me on my right and I am now standing between her and the wall. I see her camera's eyes (filming me at close range) and the back of her head. I turn to my left to walk around her to avoid her completely. When I get to the car, she is still standing there and looking my way. Then she won't leave the parking lot. Then she drove around the back. I want what she actually did to be known if she now chooses to identify me as a part of her life. I can guarantee you no one reading this has ever heard of anything like this at this location before now.

The fish guy once dropped my fish on the floor so I never stop BUT TODAY is freezing and I just needed milk. I started gagging halfway to the milk, there was something burning in the store and by the time I came back to the check out my asthma was kicking in. I never use those self check outs and I was not thinking clearly trying to keep my scarf over my mouth, but when I asked the girl standing next to me for help she kept talking to her friend who agreed that today the store smelled really bad. She didn't help me and I had to drop the milk on the store floor after thinking I had paid but she was yelling at me that my card had not gone through. I spent the last 2 hours trying to recover from an asthma attack. No help at all, in fact RUDE, I will NEVER stop here again

When the items were putcinto my car, I asked if that was definitely everything and was told it was. I got home to find an item was missing and called the store for a refund. It was told I had to return to the store to either get the item or get a refund. If i wanted to go into the store, i would have done my own shopping. My other option was to get a refund through Instacart (I don't have an account with them and didn't order through them). I have been using Hannaford's service for over a year and they are the friendliest most helpful you could hope for. I recommend that you DON'T use this service at Price Chopper.p
