Market 32 is our closest grocery store, yet it is always one of our last choices. Our pecking order of supermarkets in our area is as follows: 1. Wegmans 2. Whole Foods 3. Market Basket 4. Stop & Shop 5. Market 32 6. Price Chopper/Hannaford We realize that quality and selection with some of these grocery stores can vary by location. For example, a Price Chopper can be much nicer in one town than in another (Price Chopper Webster, MA is a very nice PC). But in our area, we stand by these standings! We use Market 32 as a giant convenience store for on demand staples like hamburger patties and rolls, milk and eggs. That said, some of these items are much more expensive than Market Basket. And when it comes to produce, we're always disappointed with Market 32 quality, and often the price too. Bok choy is a good example. Market 32 Bok choy is often $2 more a pound than at Market Basket, and limp, like it's been on a Price Chopper truck for a few days too long. And the cod we tried, was very fishy and compares poorly with cod loins from Wegman's. Market 32 prepared pizza was very disappointing, though I tried sushi here once (I was starving), and to my chagrin, it was pretty good. On the plus side, this Market 32 is quite new, quite clean, and usually quite quiet. But other than on-demand necessitates, we have much better choices if we're willing to drive an extra 10 - 15 minutes. read more

OKAY, Being on the spectrum is NOT an excuse to ask unsolicited RUDE & INVASIVE to your customers!! Like seriously WTFFF. As follows: We went for a big grocery run (tho, literally NO ONE OWES ANYONE an explanation as to why ppl need certain ingredients & groceries). 3/4 into checking out, the kid employee, William L. bagging our food was openly complaining about how he doesn't wanna work anymore for the day (yes, which I get, it was around 615pm on a Thursday. I'm sure it was a long day) HOWEVER, he proceeded to ask us the following: - "why do you have so many groceries???" (As if it was an incredible inconvenience to him). BRUH, ITS NONE OF YOUR GODDAMN BUSINESS. - "is it just us two at home? Are you cooking for just you or a lot of people?" , AGAIN, ITS NONE OF YOUR GODDAMN BUSINESS. Thank gawd my partner stepped in to deescalate the situation. Like seriously. Regardless of whether or not you're on the spectrum it's incredibly rude to openly judge other people's groceries & ask them about their personal lives. ESPECIALLY if you're the one working there. Not to mention the lady in front of us was checking out at least 10 liters of apple juice & fruit punch & processed foods & juice boxes. I didn't hear him say anything to her about her choice of how she shops. Not nearly as much as we had for a lot of smaller ingredients. I didn't say anything or else I would've had another employee to intervene. The cashier who was with us seemed super embarrassed tht his coworker was even asking such questions. If you're just trying to make small talk with your customers (which these small towns often do during check out) THIS AINT IT. read more

Excellent market in Sutton ma. Prices are pretty good. Items on sale are usually a pretty good deal. The meat department is excellent. Ambiance is excellent, nice wide aisles and super clean and well organized. It's easy to find what you need. The market is a step up from price chopper! read more

This market may be convenient, but it's definitely not a place where you'd want to do your regular shopping. The items are overpriced -- you can go to Market Basket, where there's a much wider selection and prices are nearly half of what you'd pay here. The service is terrible. The cashiers and staff are rude, and no one makes an effort to help you find anything. I've even experienced inappropriate behavior from the meat department, which is completely unacceptable. The atmosphere is full of unnecessary drama and, at times, offensive and racist comments. Overall, not worth it despite the convenience. read more

This market 32 is amazing to visit! Produce always fresh and delicious. I love all the choices for quick dinners. In fact I opted in for the $14.99 fried chicken dinner for 4 and it was a hit with the family. The new employee on the register was extremely hospitable and the manager granted me the promotion price on the English muffins even though the sale was for other flavors. Great selection of brands and quality overall. Every day prices are a little high but their sale prices are very good. I will certainly visit again! Kudos to the managers in charge there. read more

I was quite ho hum with Price Chopper given the look and feel, but their Market 32 concept is quite nice. The store was clean, stocked, big enough to find virtually all your needs, and best of all the employees were pretty friendly. It is between my job and my home, so this will surely become my favorite stop off on the way home to "grab a few items." read more

Not my local grocery store, but it's my goto place for sushi if I'm in the area! They have their own sushi chef preparing fresh dishes! It's really good sushi, the pieces are big, excellent quality and the prices can not be beat! I used to like Shopping here and also frequently bought the hot chicken for a quick and easy lunch or dinner - today was the last day I will shop here. The place is not only overpriced on almost all items but the food And service have gone downhill! The fried chicken pieces were completely dried out - happens When too long under the heating light. Last year I ordered a large fruit platter and 4 party pizzas for my son's 1st birthday party and everything was delicious, we enjoyed it so much we decided to go back this year. I went in on 7/22/24 to place my order for 7/27/24 the girl who took my order Joslyn you could tell that I was clearly bothering her to place my order. I asked her to note that I would like the pizza cut into 24 slices instead of twelve never wrote it down. I asked for more watermelon instead of honey dew in my fruit platter and she wasn't happy. I send my oldest son go pick up my order her gets there and he was told they only had a fruit tray and I didn't order anything else so returned home without the pizza. I sent him back and they had my pizzas sitting on top of the oven not cut how i asked. The fruit platter was absolutely horrible most of the grapes had the stems still attached. Cantaloupe looked like it was on its way out. read more

If you want incredibly fresh and delicious food, make sure you stop here. I'm not talking a out the grocery store itself, but the area where they cook all fresh and hot food to the right when you walk in... it's out of this world. Get the chicken tenders (if you are able to, make sure you get them cooked fresh cause they're piping hot, tender, juicy, crispy, mouth watering... the ones that have been sitting out for hours can sometimes be a little bit dry, but it doesn't take away from the flavor) 5 out 5 stars for their kitchen. Convenient location being that it is right off Highway 146. Plenty of parking and there is a Five Guys Burgers and Fries in the plaza so you can shop on a full stomach. Starbucks is also right there for that after shopping pick me up. Market 32 is extremely clean inside and there selection is average to good. Is this what we're doing now? We've visited every restaurant in the world so now we review supermarkets? Okay, let's do this. Market 32 is as good an example of "You can put makeup on a pig but it's still a pig..." that I can think of. Walking in you're greeted by what appears to be an upscale high end market but without the high end prices. That's a win-win right? Well, you're also greeted by three clerks in half dressed uniforms sitting at the cafe when you walk in either on break, on shift or after work, making a huge mess and being very loud. Then you visit the deli where the clerk there is busy telling her co-worker that she was out way too late last night and that the A-hole of a boy friend she has still hasn't called. This is a nice perk because you know the first thing I think of when I walk into a market is "I hope the deli clerk's relationship is going well." See, therein lies the problem. Clerks are not trained, if they aren't trained they not only don't do their jobs correctly they don't enjoy doing those jobs. They are in various states of dress code, when your staff looks like unmade beds they don't perform. So you can dress up Price Chopper but you aren't turning into Whole Foods or Trader Joe's where you have a fully trained professional staff, and you know what, I can swing the extra $30 on a grocery order to go where the service is good. read more

This is a clean, cool and classic spot for shopping. It's a one stop shopping from Starbucks, bakery, pharmacy, amazing fruit displays and florist. It dimly lit for a relaxing atmosphere. It doesn't feel like your typical grocery store. Everything has a simple and airy layout with very large signage. Their prices are really good. The bakery products are blah. I love a good bakery. But their products seem like it was put together by a kid. Their bagels and bread don't have that wow factor. The bagels are baked like bread and don't have the bagel texture at all. Self check out was half closed which leaves 4 registers tightly packed. When I asked why they couldn't open the other four registers I was told that that required another employee to supervise, even though people would be spaced out so much better. It's a new store with way inflated prices so in reality, we are paying for it. They raised all the prices, big deal they offer "free" gas but it's not free by a long shot. Give it a couple years, it will be dirty and nasty just like the one in Webster. They have some sales that you have to spend $15 or more just to get the sales prices.. phew Go to Market Basket where you will see a sparkling store, friendly helpful workers and prices that can't be beat. read more

I have been going to market 42 for 3 years . I love the store so much!! I got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in February and got covid in may..I am so lucky to have made it through it.I have been a triage nurse 39 years and can not work any more .It is so sad for me ! I stay home as much as possible but needed to get some things last week.I was masked like I should and a sign on door no one allowed without mask!! I get a lot of fresh greens every week 8and in front of me is a man with a militaryl style hair cut without a mask laughing...he bumped into me and looked upset. I said I was sorry and then I said YOU DONT HAVE A MASK!!! He look at me with disgust....I went to management and they said they can't ask them why because it could be medical. .I SAID WHY DO YOU HAVE A SIGN THAT SAYS NO ADMITTANCE WITHOUT A MASK. She politely said I don't know !!!Wtf this guy was breathing on all out fresh food.. There should be someone at door and order on line..so disappointed !! Its my life at risk!!! read more

I'm typically a Price Chopper shopper, but I was in the area so I decided to check out Market 32, knowing that they're part of the same company. I was overwhelmed by how CLEAN the place was. Everything was pristine and well-organized. The staff was BEYOND friendly. I was greeted by multiple cheerful employees.The selection was larger than my local Price Chopper. The produce is fresher and more plentiful. There's also a Starbucks, which is phenomenal. It's a little far from me to be my regular grocery spot, but I'll definitely go back when I can. read more

This is SUCH a great store! Why only eh-eh reviews??? Wegmans just opened in my community a few months ago, and this is VERY comparable, and AT LEAST as good. I was so impressed with my experience yesterday. I stopped in to see what this place was about as well as pick up some groceries. I was greeted by 4 (YES, 4) employees, 1 of which was offering samples to customers throughout the store! Plus, the store was immaculate, and they did SUCH a good job with it. It's SO modern, organized, has SELF CHECKOUT (my favorite!), and is large. They have a drive thru pharmacy and large pharmacy / medical / health area, as well as a Starbucks inside the store. I was just so impressed with the service and everything about the store. Plus, the prices aren't THAT bad, yes maybe a little more than your average-dirty Shaw's, yet I prefer paying more for better quality and a better shopping experience. Plus, this place is open 24 hours, unlike basically any other supermarket. Can't wait to see what else goes into this shopping center. So far though, wonderful job to whoever the contractors are, they did a great job with this store, as well as continuing to make this shopping center, revitalizing old-nothing Sutton. 5 stars. This is probably my favorite grocery store I've ever been too. Reasonable prices, great customer service, best selection of fresh and amazing produce, fish and seafood. Overall it's a hidden gem. I've even conceived my friends to drive up from boston (hour drive) to come here. They are sold too. I only wish they didn't change their hours. They used to be 24 hours and now they are only open till midnight. Maybe I'm just the only crazy person that likes to shop at 1:00 am but I do miss that. Also bonus fun fact: their sushi it's actually really good! Who knew that grocery store sushi could be good??! This new store has a brand new clean, fresh feel. Not like most grocery stores. I will agree with a reviewer's analogy as a "wannabe Wegmans". It is clear that Price Chopper is competing against Wegman's/ Whole Foods, offering more prepared foods, more natural and organic products, and a more interactive shopping experience. The decor is brilliant.. The light colored hardwood flooring, high ceilings, and eye-pleasing signage make this a refreshing shopping experience. When Price Chopper announced all stores will be transitioning to market32, it was clear they wanted to re-vamp their image... But at this store, you'll still see signage, tags, and EZ scans with the Price Chopper logos, including the company's store brand products. When I first visited this store, I went to Starbucks to get a drink... A lot of the Price Chopper baristas were still "learning", and very confused. They should have placed other baristas in this store to teach the newbies how to make drinks... It was as if management placed them behind the counter on the first day without training. The front end of the store is very small... I could see it filling up during busy times (holidays, before snow storms, Sunday sales, etc).. Making checkout much longer and stressful. There is a cooking demo area in the back of the store, so it would be interesting to how often they utilize this! read more

Price point at whole foods pricing. Aisles huge and wode, no real issue with getting around unlike whole foods. Staff is kind, they have daikon radishes and I don't have to go to whole foods, so I'm glad. Would love to see lower prices, but eh what can you do. read more

What I love the most about this place is that ALL the non-food items are in one place at the end of the store. If you don't need that stuff, you don't need to pass by it in order to get to the stuff you need. It's open, clean, and friendly. I love Wegmans. I love Market 32 more. read more

I was skeptical when Market 32 opened. Promises of great quality for less money. Promises of super fresh produce and seafood. I live right down the highway. I went once when it first opened, then didn't go for a year. I felt it was all hype. Well I revisited about 6 months ago, and have been a steady 2-3 times per week now. I stop on the way home from work for a hot ready meal. In the morning for my regular shopping, and even late at night for a snack session! The store is beautiful. It's a quick get around. Once you know the aisles, it is so easy to bang out your list. The produce is super fresh. The seafood is excellent, and the meat has never been a disappointment. read more

I had been shopping at Wegman's (better selection and prices than Stop and Shop) when Market 32 opened up a short distance from my home. I love it. Prices are comparable to Wegman's. Not as varied of a selection, but, I can find what I want. Great produce, great cheese, and really good bakery. The first few times I spent more money because of some of the cool stuff they stock. Stuff I would not normally buy. Now that i have settled into a normal shopping pattern, I'm spending the same as I had been at Wegman's. The two biggest advantages for me are that's close, and it's a "roomier" store. Wegman's is always so crowded that I get the shopping equivalent of "road rage" shopping there. The layout of Wegman's is pretty terrible also. Anyway, this isn't the Holy Grail of supermarkets, but, I like it. read more

Very nice interior, friendly people and a solid attempt to upscale Price Chopper. But they are missing the mark when compared to Wegmans, Trader Joe's or even Goretti's. The really push too much of the Price chopper brands which aren't that great. Wegmans has a great store brand and so does TJ's. I can live with that by shopping in their speciality area but the thing that drives me crazy is the self-service check out. M32 does not really staff a 10 or 12 items or less lane! So I spent all this time picking out my stuff and including things that have hand written PLU codes [pizza slice or donut etc] and now I'm fighting with a machine to pay for things. On a number of occasions I've just left my items rather than go through the pain. They have a person to help you but when it's busy that model doesn't work, plus you feel like a dope endlessly tinkering to get something to scan. I like check out people, they are faster than me, less effort on my part and it a perfect job to support local community members. If I didn't want check out people, I'd shop via PeaPod or Amazon. M32 IS MISSING THE MARK ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

This store has a 5 star rating for courteous and helpful employees! You always feel welcomed and the store is very clean and organized! They have great deals like buy one get one free, and if you use your card you save even more money and get a discount on gas! They have a pretty good variety of everything and we like to go directly to the butcher to get our meat as we like it! Sure, there are high end boutique stores with extra perks and unique foods, but you will pay for it! If you are living on a regular working salary or just like saving money whenever possible, try Market 32! read more

The store is clean and very well laid out. The prepared food section is great, not on the variety scale of Wegman's but the prices are much better. I enjoy shopping there even though they are a bit more expensive than Price Chopper and Market Basket but I find the service much better. There is one area has gone down over the past couple of months and that is the sushi. I looked at tuna rolls today that had almost no tuna. I really had to search out that tiny streak of meat amongst the poorly made rolls. Unfortunately, this isn't a one-time occurrence and it's a shame because I was stopping in only for sushi a couple times a week. Now, I avoid it because I get angry when I don't get what I paid for. This is the only blemish I see with this store and perhaps the sushi chef can pay a bit more attention. read more

This is the fourth time I was unable to purchase anything because the card reader decides to take forever just for my transaction to get revoked, and then card chip error then it "gives. Back." Forgot the wordage cuz it's a piece of crap and a scam. I hate to be negative but the Hubbard Ave, Pittsfield branch needs to do something about the cashiers...the young and the older ones, as well, are more preoccupied with their fitbit or sharing their personal experiences with the bagger (when there actually is a bagger) than checking out the groceries. Love this place! It's right down the street from my house. They have hot and ready food which is great for a quick lunch or dinner. I haven't been disappointed in any of the products I've bought here. The market 32 brand is great especially their frozen pizza which is conveniently located right near the registers. This is probably one of the nicest, cleanest and friendliest stores I have been to. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable and the store layout is is easily navigated. They have a great produce section and bakery and they even have a Starbucks if that tickles your fancy. There really is no store around that rivals the level of customer service that I've experienced at Market 32 in Sutton. None. Now, there are some stores that have some nice deli employees, some nice cashiers, etc. (I'm not saying NO WHERE else has anyone that's friendly). However, every single person is just friendly, kind and willing to help you (well, one person - not so much - but she was the exception, by far). I have had a couple of issues with freshness (PC branded milk has gone sour long before the expiration and recently I bought new PICS branded hot dog buns that were far from their sell by date that went moldy within days). However, this is the exception and not the rule. The store itself is fantastic! Clean, well thought out, easy to shop, and reasonably priced. Their Shops4U pick-up service is, by far, the best of its kind! The staff is above and beyond friendly and the items are shopped at the store itself, not in a warehouse. I love that! They always pick out excellent produce and follow requests (thin sliced deli meat, for example) just as requested. A big thumbs up for Market 32 in Sutton! Nice work, staff! In a town with sparse options, market 32 shines. The products are very good and prices are slightly above average. Friendly staff, hot foods, Starbucks and a beer area. It's well above your standard Shaw's or stop and shop but not pretentious like a Whole Foods. Overall I'm very pleased with market 32 read more

My wife and I had our flowers for our wedding this past weekend done at Market 32, Deb and her team were AMAZING, our flowers were gorgeous, just what we had hoped for. Deb was easy to work with and flexible when we added a couple last minute items. The cost was even better. I would recommend using them for any occasion. read more
