Omg this place is amazing! There is so much stuff to be looked at!…read more First off, this place is great to support a local business and not those Salvation Army and Good Will Stores. More packed here than any of those other places. I was (and still am) a bit confused... I guess the whole building is known as "Tilton & Cook Market Place" but each floor is a different owner.. or rather it's a business that rents out space to vintage/thrift stores. On the first floor I was told there were 5 different owners, but it's really hard to figure out whose stuff is whose and if you're entering another "store". Just remember where you got stuff. There is also a place to eat and relax on the first floor which is pretty cute, but I didn't look at the menu cause I wasn't hungry. People there were pretty nice. You really have to go digging around here (or in some areas). I was only able to get to the second floor... I think I was there for about 2hrs... there is just so much stuff! (I didn't even finish the second floor). From my understanding, each floor is its own "shop" (except for the first floor). But no one seems to have their own name... just "Tilton & Cook Market Place" or "Tilton & Cook Corp". Make sure to bring lots of cash... no one in the building can take credit/debit. And at last, the days and hours for these shops are all the same. I could be wrong on a few things here, but this is all what I gathered and understood. Im definitely gonna have to return. Such a great find!

I have visited this shop several times, most recently this past Saturday, because a friend of mine…read morewanted to check it out. The shop has a large number of vendors, some of whom I am friends with. Unfortunately, the owner is very outspoken about their far-right politics on social media. It's distasteful when business owners are so vocal about their political views, regardless of the side they support. This shop is a thrift/antique market; who do they think their primary customer base is? In their post, they stated: "If you don't like this or don't agree with it. You already know there are other shops to choose from, or take your ass to Target" I sent a message suggesting they should be careful about publicly taking sides on political issues. I mentioned that I know some vendors there and that I would most likely not return. The owner's response: "No one asked you what you thought; we don't need you to return. You most definitely dont have any friends lol so have a good summer Karen." This is not how a business owner should behave, and it's incredibly toxic! While they are right that there are other places to shop in the area, actions like this likely lose more customers than they gain. When I stated that I would make sure others knew how he acted he then placed my image and information on blast on FB and Instagram for "his customers to decide" Of course adding a ton of far-right political nonsense where his equally toxic supporters added their thoughts.

I find myself a lot of times just going here to look and am always really impressed with how they arrange and decorate and then inevitable almost always fall in love with something and have to buy it. Must stop for whenever we are in the area. The ultimate value is in your life improvement for just walking in and getting the nice things that you cant find other places and that improve the quality of your life. The staff is friendly and reminds me more of people that are doing what they would want to do as a hobby most of the time,

If you need just one reason to visit Worcester, let it be this treasure trove of a plant store…read more It's huge and it's unlike anything you'll find anywhere else. Honestly, if I could sneak in and live in the store or have them decorate my house the same way I'd be all in. Walking inside feels like an instant hug for your soul--comforting, serene, and kind of magical. I spent ages marveling at the jaw-dropping selection: lush succulents, colorful leafy, quirky mossy plants, and more. But it's not just about the greenery--there are incense, books, crystals, butterflies, soaps...you name it! The store smells heavenly, looks incredible, and has a calm yet playful vibe. It's less like shopping and more like embarking on a delightful, mini adventure. They're not bargain-bin-cheap, but they're fair--think solid value for truly unique finds. The person running the place is beyond lovely: friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and endlessly patient with all my enthusiastic (read: relentless) questions. Eventually I had to leave because I was making a very long mental list of plants I wanted to buy but likely to kill at home.

You can find both old and new items here and a lot of garage sale style items. This is not Macys or Rodeo drive, this is a flea market so don't expect high end stuff-lol. I love the reviews about the older merchandise. They have plenty of parking and many vendors through-out the property. The snack bar is reasonably priced and clean. Tips- Get here early as many vendors tend to start packing up before they close. Inside dealers tend to have the same type of stuff week to week. The outside dealers tend to rotate and have more one time "garage sale" vendors. Take plenty of smaller bills, the dealers will thank you for exact payment. nothing worse than buying something for $2 and paying with a $20. Even though I prefer going early, you can get really good deals at the end of the day from dealers that don't want to bring stuff back home. It was recently sold to new owners but it's business as usual here.

I used to go every Sunday with my dad when I was little. It can be frustrating when someone asks a dollar for something something that I spent 3x more on, and is still in good condition. Negotiations saved me some money, so definitely haggle. Plus wear good shoes, because you'll be doing a lot of walking. Fortunately, it was a sunny and warm day. It's a really just nice to look around and see the variety of stuff. I can imagine a rainy day being a drag to go around. So the markets consist of a bunch of separate adjacent sites along Route 20. We went to Brimfield Auction Acres, which is the OG spot. Had to pay $5 to park there but being in the center of it all was worth it. Shelton across the street is the second oldest, so we went there as well. We might've wandered into one or two others at the end, but there are so many more vendor sites. The vendors and the selection of items vary, so some may think it's junk, others think it's treasure. Just do a "fly-by" around the tents and find one that interests you. Don't forget, there are a lot of more hidden things being sold, so it may take a bit of luck to find something. My purchases varied: from a Sinatra vinyl, to a painting of a 18th century frigate, to a cheese knife, to an old small Christmas tree decoration from Denmark, to packs of hockey cards from the 90's. I saw some other pretty interesting things, including a Continental Army cannon from the Revolutionary War, which was a little more than my wallet could handle. If you're hungry, there are a bunch of food trucks and some eating areas. Bathrooms are mostly porta-potties. Parking and admission vary from place-to-place. I think most places don't charge though.
