In town for a few days with family friends- after dinner, we stumbled upon Parlor Doughnuts while looking for dessert. One look at the display case and it was game over. There were eight of us, all standing there completely undecided because everything looked incredible. The vintage look was a fun vibe- at the counter was Chloe- friendly and ready for us- I think. She was amazing!! After a lot of "Should we get this one?" and "Wait- add that one too," we somehow walked out with four boxes for our three families... zero regrets. The doughnuts tasted just as amazing as they smelled- fresh, warm- perfectly crafted. Each one felt indulgent without being overwhelming, and there was something for everyone. The variety alone makes this place DANGEROUS in the best possible way. We're staying in town for the next four days, and let's just say Parlor Doughnuts has already been added to the repeat-visit list. Quick, delicious, numerous flavors to choose from. This is our second time here. Got the same 2 donuts as our first time : strawberry shortcake and churro. This time we had our son w us and he wanted a blueberry one (which they had) and then just got a vanilla sprinkles to share. The donuts are so airy: croissant-like. Prices for them is not bad, I believe they were $3.75 each. Seating is all outside, which is nice cause your a block from the beach. And once again, no photos cause the donuts got devoured too fast. 10/10 - A Must-Try in Oceanside! While vacationing in Oceanside, we searched for the best donuts nearby and Parlor Donuts kept popping up with glowing reviews--so we had to check it out. We were staying just down the street, so we drove over one morning and instantly noticed the line out the door. There's a cute outdoor seating area, and despite the crowd, the line moved pretty quickly. It was our first time, so we weren't sure what to order--but we decided to try six different donuts to sample a variety. These aren't your typical donuts--they're more like croissant-based donuts, light, flaky, and airy. I'm usually sensitive to overly sweet treats, but the sugar ratio here is perfect--sweet but not overwhelming. Each bite was absolutely delicious. We also got two coffees and a chocolate milk. Sunday April 19: Came by a couple of times this past weeks and they didnt have the donuts i wanted so figured i would come in early morning. 0800. Drove over today because the site said it was open at 0600. It also reads it's a holiday and to call but the number is not working. No sign on the door stating closed due to holiday or different holiday hours. Please do post those and vice turning off phone service maybe a answering machine with closure info. I've never had a crounut before and this place exceeded my expectations!!! My mom used to come here all the time when she worked on Camp Pendleton. We got there at 6:55 so we barely made it in time to get some, and these were the only 2 flavors left, but worth it! They're even great the next day! Super soft and moist. This place looks rundown. We were greeted upon entry, but It is not inviting to see the customer space as a storage area (buckets and boxes out in the open). It doesn't settle right when you see something flying inside the donut case and maple glaze stuck inside the pastry case glass which looks like it has been there longer than this morning. Came here after checking out some wedding venues with my Fiancé as we were in need of some snacks! They have some very elevated flavors for donuts - we tried the blueberry hill, Sandy beach and a few of the smaller donut pillows/holes! Overall, outstanding donuts! Went for my friend's birthday breakfast treat. I got two donuts - Dreamsicle (orange cream) and Campfire (s'mores) - and an Americano. (I wanted a maple brown sugar latte but they were out. It probably would have been too sweet anyway with the donuts.) I had a couple bites of each donut and saved the rest. They kept surprisingly well for 2 more days! Better customer service needed, I should have gotten the hint as we had to wait five minutes until the guys finished their private conversation before they even acknowledge we were waiting at the counter. While my Apple cronut was served warm, my cup of coffee was lukewarm almost cold. I asked the server how old the coffee was before I ordered he said one to two hours old. When I received my coffee and held the cup it felt lukewarm. I told the server and he just shrugged. After I took a sip I went back and told him again, I asked him if there was a microwave he said no but he could add some hot water.
