    Cowboy Ribeye
    Brandi W.

I choose this restaurant to have Friendsgiving dinner with my friends. I didn't know what to expect. I just google searched some restaurants. After looking at the menu and see us on Photos, I decided this could be a good place for our dinner. I had a beautiful courtyard area so I thought would be nice to walk once we finished. The service was good. I can't remember the young man's name, but he answered every question that we had and if we didn't know he would go and check. I asked about a cocktail that I saw on their Instagram page, but did not see on the menu and asked him if it was still available. He went and checked and said it was, but I didn't know what came in it because it was not listed on the menu. It was their spiced apple mule. Which I know a mule can be made with either vodka or bourbon. So I asked if they could make it with bourbon and he asked the staff and they could. So he went above and beyond to make sure that we had to answer to everything we asked him. It was a total of eight of us, and the table was pretty split with people choosing the ribeye and people choosing the fried chicken. I chose the ribeye cooked medium. The steak was cooked perfectly. It was a 22 ounce steak so it was pretty thick. But it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. My friend said that the chicken got a five piece and what looks like a breast piece. And they said it was very good, but there was a side of hot sauce that we all tried. That was just a little too hot to bare. The chicken also came with this skillet cornbread that I just had to try from one of my friends and it was very good. All and all this was a very nice experience. Everything was decorated for Christmas. And the courtyard was absolutely beautiful with all the lights that they had up. We all say that we would definitely go back and try out more.

The service was really good. The waiter was very nice and welcoming. The chicken was a little undercooked and it was coated in maple syrup which didn't complement the pancakes well. The buttermilk pancakes tasted very good and the presentation was nice. The place was set up really nice. It was clean and smelled well.

I wasn't sure what to expect. The reviews were so mixed and all over the place. Tried something safe and ordered for my room service order. I was really just too lazy to get dressed. I ordered the burger, collard greens and warm apple streusel for a little sweet. The burger was salty and undercooked. I asked for medium well and the middle was pretty much raw. The greens were entirely too sweet and completely overcooked. The dessert was really nothing to speak about. I decided against the breakfast after this dinner experience. Maybe I should've ordered something different but I was disappointed. Oh! The fries were good.

Parkwoods is located in the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia on the bottom floor and has great windows and natural light which were so great during the early evening hours. I was thrilled to see they had a friend green tomato appetizer, which you don't see often. It was great, too, lightly fried, not super greasy, and enough to share with the table as you prepared for the meal to come. First, don't skip on the fries - they are the sole reason I got the sandwich and it was the best decision of the night. The sandwich was good, but those fries were the star of the meal. If you're really hungry, grab the fried chicken platter, it's huge, looks incredible and smells the same. For a hotel restaurant, this one is much better than most - there is no need to grab food from somewhere else at this hotel!

Parkwoods, located in the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia, features made-from-scratch American classics and creations. The Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter @ Ravinia is located at the intersection of Ashford Dunwoody Rd. and Hammond Dr. It is across the street from Perimeter Mall. My husband and I stayed overnight at the Crowne Plaza after attending an event at the hotel. The catered dinner was actually pretty good, so my husband and I visited the restaurant for Sunday breakfast. Parkwoods is filled with beautiful natural light and has a cozy, modern atmosphere. I appreciate the various seating options; you can sit at their bar, at a traditional dinner booth/table, or in the comfy lounge area. It was a beautiful day, so I took my post-breakfast coffee to their scenic garden, Backyard at Parkwoods. Customer service was solid and we were served promptly and warmly. Our food and beverages came out within a reasonable timeframe. We ordered: Coffee Buttermilk Pancakes with scrambled eggs Omelet with chicken apple sausage, cheddar cheese, grilled onions, and spinach. During our evening event, our party enjoyed asian-style grilled salmon, chicken, and vegetable lasagna. The grilled pancakes were crispy yet fluffy. It was very satisfying. My omelet was well prepared and very flavorful. I experienced some pretty good meals for a hotel restaurant.. I would come back for cocktails, Smoked Salmon Toast (breakfast), and Fried Chicken (dinner).

I wasn't area this bar/restaurant was located inside of the Crowne Plaza Hotel & on the lower level. My Daughter & I stopped by for a nightcap & quick nosh. I like the various seating options, where you can sit at the bar, that has both booths & tables or in the lounge area that is surrounded by comfy chairs & sofas. There's TVs at the bar with overhead music playing throughout. The menu offers a variety of American grill type of food & a full bar selection. Not sure if the upper bar which is quaint (2 TV's) is part of the restaurant or the hotel, yet provides more of an intimate space. A simple order: Warm Spinach, Artichoke & Crab Melt Dip for my Daughter & for me the Garlic French Fries. Service was good. The staff worked well in tandem to make sure all the guests were taken care of & in a timely manner. It's a hotel, so no banter for the prices as the atmosphere provides a laid back vibe...unless your a table of 10 having your own private Happy Hour. +Service: 4/5 - Danielle herself took care of 4 tables + ours. +Menu: 4/5 - American bar food. +Taste: 4/5 - Daughter liked the Dip. +Price: 4/5 - Good for the hotel backdrop -18% service fee added. +Atmosphere: 5/5 - Relaxable & sociable. +Parking: Valet starts at $20/Self park in the garage with the elevator access to the restaurant. I have a new late night spot.

Absolutely wonderful experience! We came for Mother's Day and had their delicious buffet. The service was excellent and we were checked on frequently. The staff had a station near us and they all took time to talk to and engage with our little one who was so curious about her surroundings. Our favorite part of the buffet was the giant shrimp, crab claws and the sushi. I am still drooling thinking about how wonderful the food was. There were plenty of choices from breakfast, lunch, fresh fruit, pastries and even a tree with macaroons. There was also a kids area of the buffet and they even had a table set up to let kids paint as an activity to give the parents a little quiet time.

This place was really nice. It's in the LL of the Crown Plaza Hotel (Dunwoody). The food and drinks are really good. My husband loved the fried chicken. The service was great! I definitely come again.

It's one of those rare places where you can bring friends, kids, or even go for a casual date and it still feels like a great experience. Service was friendly, attentive, and made the whole meal even better. They really accommodated us by putting two tables together in a different area of the restaurant and not as close to the front door because it was freezing outside. We really enjoyed our time there. I asked for my tomato cucumber salad to be on the side. It never showed up the chicken on there is maybe about four pieces very small nothing to really work with so I just enjoyed some dessert and called it a night. I'm glad that the manager did not charge me for the bowl because it really was not worth it. I'll give them another try but I really had high hopes. I'm glad the guests with me enjoyed their meal and of course brussels sprouts is always a plus thanks lazy dog. See you again Lazy Dog!

Then came the salmon bites on wonton--crispy, flavorful, and such a perfect balance of texture. For the entrée, the pasta with salmon was not only delicious but a generous portion that didn't miss. And for something sweet... the bread pudding? So moist, topped with ice cream and Oreos--it was giving indulgence in the best way. But what really sealed the night for me was the coffee pairing. It took the show and brought everything together beautifully. I also loved the range of the menu--there's something for every craving. The service was excellent, and the food presentation matched the quality. Honestly had me thinking, what took me so long to dine here? Especially since I'm in this area often. Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Reviews I'd seen online mentioned parking is a bit limited and that the restaurant is frequently busy. So we were prepared for that even though we were going on a Thursday mid morning. I think there was an influx of people celebrating graduations because it was in fact very busy. However we got very lucky with parking and happened to come in right as someone was leaving. I was sure we would have a wait for a table, which of course would have been fine, but actually we were seated immediately! Which was super nice and unexpected. The atmosphere is bustling but not in a bad way. The restaurant itself is adorable and has a lot of character. It feels like you're having breakfast at an old friend's house. The service was great and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I ordered a specialty coffee, I believe it was the almond joy cold brew, and it was delicious. Strong, which is how I like it and not overly sweet. I ordered the chicken biscuit on the waiter's recommendation and it was absolutely the best fried chicken I've ever had. Juicy and crispy. My husband ordered the pimento cheese omelette and was very happy with it, the bacon was thick cut and smoky and flavorful. The pimento cheese grits that came on the side for me were also a stand out, such great flavor. The biscuits are fantastic and the blueberry basil jam that came with my husband's meal was such a nice touch. We will absolutely make a point to come back to Buttermilk Kitchen next time we visit the Atlanta area.

First things first: the Chicken Biscuit. Buttermilk Kitchen's biscuit is on the crunchy, honey-flavored side. I personally prefer fluffier, more buttery biscuits, so this one wasn't my favorite. That aside, the chicken was crispy and well-seasoned and paired well with the cheese grits. If you ever wanted a dry, crunchy version of Homegrown's Comfy Chicken Biscuit, come give this a shot. I also tried the Hash Bowl, which was a bit underwhelming. It was a *lot* of potatoes compared to the eggs and bacon bits, and there wasn't a lot of seasoning other than the bacon. Would rather recommend one of the other options if you end up visiting. The drinks are good as well, would recommend the matcha latte (not too sweet!) and the French Press coffee.
