Your typical diner food! We had also ordered soup that isn't pictured but it came out warm/cold. The food was okay, nothing to extravagant or wow factor but def something that'll hold you down after a night of drinking.

Pastrami sandwich - A white plate holds two beef and vegetable wraps, wrapped in parchment paper, with one partially unwrapped to reveal sliced beef, lettuce, and other vegetables inside. The wraps are accompanied by a serving of French fries with a dollop of ketchup on the side. The setting appears to be a casual dining environment with a dark table surface and a small empty white bowl in the background.

I love this place! Service is good. The food was delicious and I would say not pricey at all. We took a brunch sandwich with pastrami to share, it was enough for two people. It was delicious and we were full!

Very good food and fast service. We ordered the French onion soup, chicken Caesar salad and Philly cheese steak. Also ask for the coleslaw and pickles. Everything was tasty.

A breakfast plate includes two sunny-side-up eggs, crispy bacon strips, sausage links, slices of ham, a serving of French fries, and toasted bread slices. The plate is set on a dark table with a small dish of creamers and sugar packets in the background.

Went here after a night of drinking. Ordered the big boy breakfast 3 eggs sunny side up bacon ham eggs French fries. Coffee. Freaking incredible. The service was quick and fast. Food came out fresh and prompt. Everything we got was delicious. Place was clean and well kept. Tables weren't sticky and the menus were clean. Nothing worse than a diner with sticky menus and tables.

What an absolutely miserable place. Food is mediocre at best. Service is nonexistent, and it's unnecessary for servers to argue about not wanting to help another server's tables because they don't get a tip from it. That's bad management and training. Tables shouldn't be penalized for needing ketchup or syrup because they asked someone who wasn't their server for it. Seriously, a waiter need not say, sorry it's not my table when they are three feet from the ketchup. Even the cashier seemed unbelievably miserable. What a dreadful place to end up.

Looking for a great home cooked meal? Look no further than the Parkview Dinner, in Coney Island, Brooklyn. The food is plentiful and delicious. Ample portions with tremendous deserts. Giota took great care of us and definitely made us feel right at home. The place was already decked out for fall, Halloween & upcoming Thanksgiving Holidays. The ambiance is comfortable, not loud, and they have plenty of parking (a treat around the city now).

Haven't been to a diner in a long time and stopped by for a quick meal with some coworkers. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. I know diners always don't have the best reputation although everyone was polite and helpful. The food was good and what I expect in a diner. Prices were fair and I think the best part would have been the desert if I had it. All the deserts looked AWESOME although I resisted temptation. Cakes, cookies, pies, etc. I had the salmon avocado burger with fries, my buddies had the burger deluxe with sweet potato fries and one had the pastrami which looked great. I would recommend them if your in the mood for diner food and not looking to dress up or impress anyone.

Early Sunday morning after charging my car at the new Tesla charging area near by I decided to crab some breakfast and it was pretty good. Customer service was on point walked in and was seated right away. They took our order and then minutes later our food arrived. We had a table by the window and had a view of the parkway which was pretty cool. Overall, great experience and a good way to start the day off. If you are in the area make sure to stop by Parkview Dinner for a bite to eat.

Interior decor - The image shows the interior of a diner filled with customers seated at tables and counters. The ceiling features a mix of white and ornate metallic tiles, with hanging pendant lights. Patrons are engaged in eating and conversation, and a staff member in a blue uniform is visible. The decor includes a partition with a patterned design, and the overall atmosphere is lively and busy.

Solid diner with quick service. I was greeted, seated, and placed order in under 5 minutes. Food came out fast and was tasty. Regular diner experience and decor, with outstanding service. There televisions around in case you want to take a glimpse of the sports, like me. They have a full bar as well, I want to add.

I've noticed that there are a few good diners left in Brooklyn. The Parkway Diner is one of the diners that my family and I frequent. Their food is your run of the mill diner food, from chicken and waffles to burgers and omelets to triple decker sandwiches. Their service is pretty fast and the waitstaff are friendly and pleasant. Any time is good to dine here, but Sundays can be rowdy but the noise level tapers off around 3pm. Overall, the place is reasonable and affordable.

Diner has never coasted on continuity. They change up the menu every day. They write it on the paper tablecloth, for Chrissakes. But I still love that! I still find most of the food to be delicious (if pricey), I still think their cocktails are well-made (even if their bar is weirdly slow) and I love their brunch and I love the vibe, and I'm glad it's still here. I thought that the food would be frozen as the menu was so big, but the quesadilla tasted like it was made then and there, maybe with frozen ingredients, but it was definitely put together on the spot to order. The waffle was okay. I wasn't a huge fan; the chocolate chips did not really melt into the waffle, which is something I look for in chocolate chip waffles, but my partner was still able to enjoy it! Despite this, I have to give this spot a 5 because the waitress was just so sweet and definitely brings this place to a 5-star!

A bit crispy but almost sponge/fluffy soft inside. The hazelnut maple praline was not too sweet. I'd recommend eating it as soon as it arrives at the table. The Sunday burger was great as well. I got lucky one night when there was no line & my girlfriend and I got a seat. To start off, the ambiance is rock solid, they got the classic old school American/ New York look. Beautiful lights, a sky line art work, comfy leather seats, and you can scribble on the table I love it. Staff & service are also amazing, there very attentive, respectful, friendly and the service is great, they do a great job in both of these aspects. However, their food is lacking. It's a very small menu, we ordered their burger, clams, wedge salad and Sunday. All of the items were fine, I personally didn't like the clams, I felt they were too dry, the burger was good but nothing you can't get anywhere else. The salad and Sunday weren't worth it. However, what was very disappointing, I believe they cook using cheap oils, because after our meal, my girlfriend & I just felt really bad in our stomach. I really wish this place well and hope they last, but the hype is way too high and I think they need to switch the oil and quality of their ingredients.

Lastly, we got a Caribbean omelet. My rice and pernil was solid. The rice could've used a tad bit more seasoning but when mixed with the side of beans and plantains plus a drizzle of hot sauce it was perfect. They had a variety of sauces--Tabasco (my fave), a Jamaican one that was super spicy, and a mild homemade one. The tres/quatro golpes was also a hearty choice with mangu (mashed plantain), sausage, fried cheese, and eggs. The pickled red onion balanced everything out. The fried cheese is similar to a halloumi but I think it's a bit more flavorful. All the flavors just melt together in your mouth perfectly. The French toast and omelet were good. I'd say the Caribbean items stole the show though. The place has a typical diner vibe and is on the small side. Food was served quickly and service was good. Discount if you pay in cash. Apparently there is more than one location in Manhattan. The inside reminded me of a classic diner. Comfy and with a pretty cool vibe. We all slid into a booth and looked over the seasonal offerings along with their standard menu. I was lured by the chicken Kyiv based on the picture of having two rolled up chicken cutlets stuffed with dill and other yumminess, but was a bit disappointment when it arrived with a single small cutlet on my plate with two heaping mounds of potatoes mash and broccoli. I instantly had regret when I should have gotten the borscht soup with pierogies, but wanted to try something I wouldn't usually. I should've stuck to what was safe. My work mom got the stuffed cabbage and that was a clear homerun- really loved the mushroom gravy that it came with. My other colleague got the potato pancake and wasn't too thrilled with it, while my boss got the two Swedish meatballs that he described to be Ikea worthy. Although this was my first time here, I can't say that anyone really loved the food nor would come out of their way to come back. A friend and I each got a soup to start our meal, along with sharing a Potato Pancake. The Matzoh Ball Soup and Potato Pancake were good, but not great. However, I enjoyed the Pork & Cabbage Soup enough to take home a quart. For entree, we shared a Deluxe Meat Plate that was quite delicious. All three pierogi flavors were great, but the short rib was my favorite, followed closely by the mushroom & sauerkraut. I also really enjoyed the grilled kielbasa, but sadly it was served at room temperature. Lastly, the stuffed cabbage is not usually my thing, yet I liked this version. Once again, it was served barely warm. Thankfully, we finished on a high note. My friend really wanted the Challah Bread Pudding, which was moist and tasty. However, the lovely waitress advised us strongly to try the Medovyk. This Ukrainian layered honey cake had a wonderful texture, not too creamy or sweet, with a great walnut flavor. We were extremely happy with her suggestion. We also really liked the diner vibes that felt warm and inviting. This was so close to a five star review. The main reason for the deduction was the temperature of our food being served. Hopefully that problem will be solved on my next visit.
