Wonderful Experience! We originally booked a different company, which said $70 per hour, two hour minimum for 2 guys, PLUS a trip fee, which was the equivalent of one hour, so it's actually more like a 3 hour minimum.... So I called Brandon at Smooth Moves and was blown away by how pleasant and willing to go above and beyond. He told me that they are loaders and unloaders, but that he would pack up some of the fragile things and that he would even bring the packing paper with him! I wasn't here the day of the move, but my aunt has been talking about how wonderful they were for two days. The furniture they had to move was gigantic, but they never complained, and they never stopped working. They don't start the hour until they start working and there isn't a trip fee. I needed to use every inch of the POD I rented and wanted to make sure our belongings were well secured. Saw reviews of Parker's and decided to go with them. I wasn't disappointed. Brandon called the day before to confirm their arrival time. Though he did arrive late (about 20 minutes), he had an additional mover with him and completed the move in less time than anticipated and used every inch of the space in the POD. I was literally amazed by how well he packed the POD. We hadn't planned on everything fitting in the POD and had prioritized our belongings but everything we wanted fit. My wife and I hired Parker's Smooth Moves to load our U-Haul for our move to Fort Collins, CO. Brandon was very communicative and helpful before the move. Brandon, Gary and Elliott moved us from Phoenix to Oceanside, CA and we can't say enough good things about them. First, Brandon's price was substantially less than the big companies charge. We have moved many times and in the past I have had furniture that had marks from bands and missed boxes but with Brandon you don't have to worry about those things. They take extra care of everything and because they don't mix my things with anyone else's nothing is lost. I had many boxes of china and glass tops and everything arrived just as it left our house in Phoenix. Then there is Brandon's customer service which is outstanding. Brandon is the sweetest and most honest person I know. I was very stressed to suddenly have to move from Arizona to San Diego within a month. I called many different places but found that he gave me the best deal with the most reassurance everything would be okay. He responds quickly with text and comes to your place to quickly assess what you have. He later accommodates my moving time so I could get there one day ahead of him. Before I knew it he was bright and early outside my apartment the next day! I barley ate my breakfast was how quick he was. Moved everything in and out within 2-3 hours for both days. Thank God for U-Haul!! They know how to treat people and understand moving. U-haul is one stop with Trucks, Boxes and storage. So why would you go anywhere else. A friend of mine is moving out this week at one of the little bargain places because of jacked up rent and moving to U-haul and got his price cheaper for the same size. These guys are just amazing! My partner Glenn and I used them to move us from Phoenix to Chicago on the week of Aug 11-14th 2015. Practically flawless! They came to the house we were moving from on the 10th, and we chose to have them pack all of our belongings. When we arrived in Chicago, (moving to a high rise apt) the building gave us two hours to move things off the truck and into the unit. The guys (Gary and Elliott) were on time, even early, and were able to get all our belongings off the truck in the two hour window we were allotted....just awesome! Gary hooked up our televisions for us, so we would have something to watch, while unpacking and waiting for the cable company to come the next day...seriously...who does that??? What a great surprise! If you are ever needing to move cross country or even cross town, look no further, they are beyond reasonable, very dependable, helpful.
