Cute and modern space with a menu to satisfy anyone. My friend had the bison burger that came with blueberry aioli and said it was amazing. Judging by the way she scarfed it down, I believe her. I had the rotisserie chicken sandwich which had bacon, cheddar cheese, coleslaw and some kind of sauce and it was delicious! So flavorful, the bun was soft, and the flavors all complimented each other. Highly recommend. Fries were good too with sea salt on them. Cornbread was buttery and rich. Not big pieces but enough. Overall, highly recommend. read more

Food was just OK. Guacamole was 4 of 5 stars. Ribs were 2 of 5. Recommend the maple whisky 5 of 5. Server was unengaged.

Fun, friendly bar staff that genuinely love the spirits made in-house (and found at every cocktail bar in town worth its weight in snow). The vanilla vodka, infused with the real stuff, no flavoring, was the stand-out for me. A must-stop to sample the tasty spirits if you have the time. Food menu looked very good, too! read more

Pizza was really good and the beers were great after a long day of hiking. Service at the bar was quick and our drinks remained full. Loved sitting upstairs it is light and has a patio that is open to the inside. Live my was a bonus on the night we stopped by. read more

My friend and I came in here for lunch while we were in Banff. He ordered one of their house cocktails and I opted for one of the draught beers. For food, I went with the quarter rotisserie chicken. The meal came with plenty of food! The coleslaw was more like a plain-cabbage without any dressing. The potatoes were nice and crispy. I can't imagine how much food the half chicken would be! read more

The restaurant design is modern and inviting. We were sat upstairs by the kitchen and our waiter was super friendly and helpful. I had the park veggie bowl and holy cow was there a lot of flavour! I loved every aspect of it - it's a great serving size. I was full but because of what's in the bowl I didn't feel heavy and sluggish. I also had the snow paloma mochtail which was delicious and not too heavy on the grapefruit. My husband had the sandwich - it was full of flavour and messy just like you want an indulgent chicken sandwich to be. I would definitely come here again. If you are plant based this place has more options than I usually see on the menu. read more

This was a treat! It was a busy Saturday evening and we were still seated right away. Service was tops! We had the rotisserie chicken garnished with arugula. Our sides of mash potatoes and broccolini. Everything was perfectly prepared. We had one hiccup with the kids pasta. It did come out uncooked, but they made it right by taking it back and they even adjusted the bill for the mistake. That's customer service! Because they are a distillery, my wife and I had to try their libations! We both had something that would highlight what their gin. The Gin and Tonic. It was very good. I especially like the larger ice cubes, so it doesn't water down the drink. If you're in Banff for a few days, make The Park Distillery a stop. read more

GET THE SHAFT. Oh my gosh, I have never had vodka be so smooth in a drink. Great service. Cheese and whiskey fondue $33 Cornbread with maple butter $8 Rye $8 Maple rye $8.50 Filet of trout (half portion) $36 Smoked s'mores $9.50 Trout and fondue were good, but I still felt these items were overpriced, especially the fondue and the dessert. Fondue came with bread, 6 cubes of green apple, 4 chopped pieces of cauliflower and 5 cornichons. Seemed a little low on the portions. And the s'mores was a 2x2 inch square for $10 and it was just ok. Boyfriend had the ryes and he loved them. The single he ordered was less than a one finger pour, so not so sure about that. The last thing was that we made reservations in advance and then we were seated right by the door, where it was kinda cold and loud. Nice touch to serve everything camp-style, on planks and grilled, to stay with the park theme. read more

Park Distillery is a good spot for a pre dinner drink in the Town of Banff. Grab a seat at the bar! Order a flight. Talk to the bartender and watch his skill then order a cocktail. What a great start for the evening! I would recommend the Housemade Booze Flights as you get to try all 4 of their housemade spirits in one sitting. This was a good option for me as this was the first time I visited Park Distillery. I also try the Observation Peak which was finished with a smoked cedar square! Love that smokey element! Remember to check out the bottle shop before you leave. Always great to pick up a bottle or 2 to take home as a great souvenirs. read more

Christmas meal takeout. Grabbed the burger and chicken burger. Unbelievably good and massif!!! It was so filling and delicious. Worth every bite. The fries unfortunately were old and cold. I think if they were fresh they would have been delicious and flavourful. Shame it wasn't! We did the dinner combo and it includes two sandwiches, Caesar salad and a smores dessert $50. The smores dessert was delicious. We decided to warm it up in the oven and it was well worth the wait. Very sweet, so we couldn't finish it but hit the spot right after a savoury meal. Great spot to grab pub food, would def recommend. read more

The concept of this restaurant is super cool. They have a small section in the entrance where you can purchase their house brand liquor. The seating area is HUGE for a restaurant in Banff. It's great for larger parties since it's comprised of a lot of cabin-style tables. I came here with a group of people and we all ordered various things. We were highly recommended the chicken as they roast it in house. The portion size of the chicken was massive. My boyfriend and I ordered the half size and really got half of the damn bird. The disappointing factor was that there was a laughable amount of potatoes that came with them. I would say 10 microscopic potato's. Opt for the fries 100000%. When we asked for a drink recommendation, the server gave us a bit of an attitude when my boyfriend asked what was good. I understand that this is a distillery, and people usually go with a little bit of knowledge behind their belts, but I'm not sure what the need for hostility was. When talking to my brother in law about our experience, he noted he had the same type of micro-aggression when he visited Park. I can see why this place is popular. The concept of seeing alcohol distilled in house is super cool. For the price of the food, and the attitude from service, I'd skip this one out. Boo! read more

The campfire themed restaurant is also a working distillery, I wish I had time to take the daily tour. It's not exactly poutine but it hit the spot for sure! read more

the food was unreal, but was unfortunately disappointed in the service aspect. i had ordered my food and realized when it came i wanted to order something else. i asked for a takeaway box and asked if it was okay to grab another dish. (while still paying for the first one), she said no because the kitchen had been closed for 7 or 8 minutes. which is fine, but as someone who works in the service industry we always make it a point to let our guests know when last call is. fast forward after we get our bill, i had noticed the server had charged me $43 for 2 double vodka sodas with a little bit of bellini.... i understand that getting a double adds to the cost and same with bellini, but it should not double the price surely... my friend asked further and the server took my bill from her and said her manager told her to charge that... ok.... its just disappointing because i always went to that restaurant growing up when i was visiting banff just for it to end up being a money grab with bad service. read more

The cocktail selection was abundant and each of the cocktails I tried were delicious. The Monarch and the Old Fashioned were both standouts in my mind. The service was also fantastic. Our server made excellent cocktail suggestions and spent the time to suggest hikes. She was also extremely kind and upbeat, which given the amount of people she must deal with a day was impressive. The food was good but nothing I'd rave about. You go here for their cocktails. read more

We enjoyed this spot on our trip to Banff. They have a great drink menu and the food was fairly tasty. We both had Bloody Caesars which had the perfect about of spicy and brininess. Three sisters drink, MY FAV, also everyone else at my table ended up ordering it. I really really love how this place has a nice mix of BBQ and healthy options. We ordered the cheese fondue and the hummus as appetizers and everyone at the table loved it. I did the mess hall standard with a friend (minimum is 2 people) and it was more than enough food. I couldn't finish it all but it was great to get a taste of everything! The ribs were probably my favorite but I also like that their cole slaw isn't smothered in mayo. Food was fine - lettuce wraps came with a peanut sauce that was just ok - not a lot of flavor. Veggies were fresh. Backpacker bowl was the same fresh but average flavor. Should have gone elsewhere. read more

Drinks and service good, food very bad. We had some good cocktails here including a strawberry gin martini. The food however was unseasoned and made of cheap ingredients. We got the rotisserie chicken salad and bbq chicken sandwich. The chicken was dry and had absolutely no seasoning on it. (A Costco rotisserie chicken would be 5 times better and 1/5 of the price). The fries were also really cheap tasting and bad. TBH all of the food we had in Banff kind of followed suit - overpriced and very underwhelming. read more

It was getting to be cocktail time and we were really hungry after hiking all day in Lake Louise, so we gave the Park Distillery a try in beautiful downtown Banff. Everything we tried, was absolutely delicious. We started with a couple of their cocktails from their house distilled spirits. Their specialties are vodka, gin, and whiskey. We tried the "storm Mountain", which was a very nicely balanced, sour, made with gin, as well as an old fashion "skoki"and my husbands, favorite, the "observation peak", another Smoky cedar twist on an old fashion, yum. We kept the party rolling by ordering the massive bison burger, which is a bison patty and a beef patty along with yummy cheese, fried crispy onions, a great blueberry, aïoli, bacon, and all the fixings on a delicious brioche bun, served up alongside a mound of their hickory, seasoned curly fries, which were absolutely addictive.omg get this! We also enjoyed their delicious Buddha bowl filled with riced cauliflower, pickled vegetables, fried chickpeas, avocado, carrots, cucumber ,etc. & topped with an add on of fresh shredded rotisserie chicken & a delish peanut dressing...Ridiculously good!! Even left with a small bottle of their tasty vanilla vodka, great in an espresso martini. Service was friendly, and the ambience was cozy and lively. We saw the good reviews and came for the housemade spirits. We ordered the housemade booze flight board ($20): Classic Vodka, Glacier Rye, Alpine Dry Gin, Vanilla Vodka, Espresso Vodka, and Birds Rye Chili Vodka I regret to say that none of them were too good as shots, the espresso and chili vodka were on the better side. Wow! I underestimated Banff and their food scene. Who knew there would be a cool hip restaurant to grab some drinks and some really good food at? Park distillery located in the heart of town distill their own alcohol. I bought a bottle of gin, just because. We did a tasting of their vodka and gin. Some were better than others. We came here for dinner around 8-9ish and it was so packed since the sun didn't set until 9:30, the upstairs big garage windows were open and patio open. Beautiful interior and view from the 2nd floor. The food was good! My friend got the pork dish and that was the best pork I tried. It was juicy and flavorful. I got the cedar plank salmon with quinoa and that was really good too. Salmon was crispy on top and juicy on bottom. My other friends pasta with vodka sauce dish was ok. It needed some meat or something to give it that edge. We also got dirty fries aka poutine, it was okay. Too clean. Didn't feel dirty enough. read more

Came here as a group of 5 and it was the worst meal we had in Banff. Not sure why this place has such rave reviews about their prime rib. 3 of us ordered it and we all thought it was TERRIBLE.. so fatty and chewy, practically inedible. The potatoes that came with it were burnt to the point where it was completely black. I'm honestly shocked that they served it. The staff (while they were all nice) were pretty awful as well. Our waitress couldn't remember our orders and kept bringing out the wrong drinks. The kitchen forgot my coleslaw and some other sides that the rest of the table ordered. read more

It is so delicious here! I came here for only 2 drinks and it costed me $26 which is why I gave this place only 4 stars instead of 5. If you like gin, come here! Unfortunately didn't make it to the distillery tour, which is daily at. 3:30, but did get dinner. The classic Gin & Tonic was the best I've had. I could enjoy their gin on the rocks it was that good. They also give a generous pour (2oz) so watch out! Also got the gin cocktail flight as I rarely ever see anything like that anywhere. All were high quality, however the classic G&T is the way to go. Finally got Poutine (when in Canada, right?). It was delicious- the fries are incredible here, potato-y, crisp and salty, and the gravy rich. The classic burger is juicy. The patties are seasoned well, the bun perfectly soft and the pickles and Park sauce make this burger memorable and one of the best I've had ever. I wanted to eat every morsel but had the poutine and cocktails so wasn't able to. The St. Louis ribs are meaty and tender (meat falls off the bone) the bbq sauce is lip smacking good. I don't know how to describe it - it's not tangy or sweet, but thick, smoky and rich tomato-y. read more

Came to Banff to see the ice sculptures and grab a bite to eat. We went to Park Distillery as one of my friends is a little more picky about her food. Had some dinner after a long day on the mountain and everything about it made it a positive. The restaurant was pretty busy but we were seated in 5 minutes in the upstairs area. Our server Avery was very kind and energetic and she made our whole experience even better. When I suggested getting the fire roasted carrots fort the table, my friends were not on board. So I asked for Avery's opinion and she made it clear that we could not go wrong with the carrots, and she wasn't wrong (Carrots = 10/10). Very lively and fun atmosphere. We were a couple dining for an early dinner. Reservations recommended. We went early around 4, so it was so busy but had constant customers in and out. We were seated right away close to the windows so, excellent people watching. The gals outside created great entertainment enticing people to buy shots and use the shot ski. We got the 1/2 ribs & 1/4 chicken meal, the BC salmon, and the Mac n cheese to split. All cooked perfect. The ribs fall off the bone and covered in just the right amount of BBQ sauce. The fish was cooked just right. Soft and buttery inside. Crispy skin. The Mac n cheese has real cheese and topped with jalapeños. All was more than enough for the two of us to split. We both had two cocktails. My husband ordered a gin cocktail and I had the spicy vodka. Both wonderful. They distill their own spirits. Our server was attentive and gave us some great recommendations. We would definitely come again. read more

Great Bar, But Even More Awesome Town Distillery Icon https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/park-distillery-banff?select=4xzfAyBnHHM9zpLhoN68eg&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w SITREP When I was hanging out in Sebastopol, CA at the Spirit Works Distillery, was the first time I heard of Park Distillery, mentioned with reference by a couple of the staff and Spirit Works. Since then, Park Distillery has come up in conversation when traveling from New Orleans to Ft. Lauderdale to Seattle. When it comes to Gin & Vodka, they are where it's at! THE SETUP I finally got to check this spot out a couple of times myself when I was here the first weekend of December, and man, what a treat, when everything is so festive, even the bottles with their cute little hats! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/park-distillery-banff?select=TuaHVYfF4k6i5XMwdVGSyA&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w And if your timing is good, they have a 3pm tour that is totally worth catching when they show the "innards" of how their distillation process works. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/park-distillery-banff?select=H1FPDuWI5wTxqklqOrPSDQ&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w REFRESHMENT! Meanwhile, on the patron side of things, their traditional gin & tonic - or a couple of vodka shots - and you will be impressed with incredible cocktails can be when made with Park distillates! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/park-distillery-banff?select=k6Ki132GYlIzA8KeF72tWg&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w I'm a BIT ashamed (but not too much) to admit that I didn't try any whiskey here, though my preference has always been towards U.S. & French bourbons, as I've never been too impressed with Canadian whiskeys as a general rule. But as someone where gin is not-at-all an alcohol I enjoy (I prefer Vodka and Whiskey over Gin), I was VERY impressed with Park gin. I would rank it right up there with Hendricks, my go-to-"gin" stateside if I must be saddled with a gin drink. THE LOWDOWN An incredible spirit treat in the heart of Banff! read more

Delicious smoky cocktails, tasty tuna tartines, and fantastic service all make for one bang-up experience at Park Distillery. Came in for lunch and took my meal and cocktails at the bar and it was perfect. I ordered the aforementioned Tuna Tartine and whoo boy was it good. Ahi tuna, avocado, radish, poached egg, baby potatoes, and olive mayo on sourdough served with your choice of salad or fries? Yeah, baby! It's real good stuff. Had two cocktails as well--the Mystic Peak (bourbon, peach juice reduction, agave nectar, & bitters) and the Observation Peak (Park Glacier Rye, Flor de Caña 7yr, Amaro Montenegro, cherry liqueur, and Park orange bitters and topped with a smoked cedar square that made for one sexy instagram video). Both were excellent. Aged gin and flavored vodkas are the stars of this small batch distillery but don't sleep on the rye cocktails either. Book a tour to see where the magic happens, or just pop in for a tasting and a bite. Either way, you're in for a good time here at Park. read more
