I am honored to come to Parizade for a meal with my good friend and neighbor. I was last here for a seminar. That was years ago. Things have changed. Parizade is an upscale place with a spacious interior. The main dining room has a view into the kitchen. Come here to celebrate an occasion. Come here for a date night or friends' night. Waitstaff are dressed to serve and are all great people. My neighbor and I each ordered a two-course meal. My neighbor had pretty much everything on their menu. He recommended the lamb ribs, shrimp, and octopus appetizers. I chose the octopus and was not disappointed. I had another order prepared to take home. Our main courses were delicious. My neighbor ordered their filet mignon special and I ordered their goat-cheese-and-spinach-stuffed chicken breast. Each dish is well-crafted. I selected two red wines by the glass from their wine list. They have premium wines by the bottle. The prices tell me I'd rather buy it but not open it. I'll take the bottle home and open it at home. I'll gladly return for another meal here.

Girl's night out was a big success due to the friendly and knowledgeable staff and the delicious food at Parizade. When we walked into Parizade, we were immediately captivated with the beautiful design and ambiance of the restaurant. It felt like we were transported to a whimsical other world. The beautiful murals and soft amber lighting gave the restaurant a warm, inviting, yet upscale feel. Everything we ate (pictured below) was fantastic and well priced. Plus, they have great spaces for large group dining. My friends and I will definitely be back!

This was the highlight of triangle restaurant week for us! The menu was awesome, portions were large, and every item was delicious. The wine menu is also extensive, and the servers are very knowledgeable about their menu. Everyone should try this place, I go the short rib and it may be my favorite short rib ever.

Lovely Mediterranean steakhouse. Came as a large party of 35 and were sat in a separated dining area with a separate bar. Inside is dimly lit and there's an open kitchen style as you walk through the restaurant. Tried many different appetizers but loved the fresh sourdough with oil to start, the Caesar, and the pita bread with dips. I went with a 14 ounce ribeye, cooked medium rare and came out pretty close. Meat was good quality and the mushrooms and potatoes were also solid. Service was great, would highly recommend this spot.

Parizade was phenomenal! Christopher, our waiter, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel like we were the only guests in the restaurant. If I could give more than five stars, I would. There was a storm that night that knocked out the computers, but the staff and kitchen recovered beautifully. Igor, the manager, was a constant presence--checking on us frequently. Between him and Christopher, they ensured we finished in plenty of time to make it to Les Misérables. They literally made us feel like family. As for the food--absolutely exquisite. We ordered from the Summer Prix-Fixe menu and couldn't imagine a better meal: Course 1: Phyllo Shrimp Course 2: Grilled Salmon Course 3: Banana Rum Napoleon (one of the most divine desserts I've ever had)

What a great dining experience. The service has been exceptional both visits. The menu seems to have something for everyone and the decor and vibe is both lively and classy. Don't be over committed to any menu items you may see with a yelp menu, as they change it up regularly and have solid specials. I'm ready to go back already.

A more upscale option for drinks and/or dinner. We love coming here before Duke basketball games! It's a little more pricey but the service/vibes/food are worth it. & I'm obsessed with their espresso martini!

The food was so AMAZING!! The service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

In Durham NC on the Duke Campus for work and asked a gentleman at the valet stand where should I go for dinner. He mentioned 2 places, and this was one of them. Parking was a bit tricky because they share the same area with another restaurant. With that being said, the first thing I noticed as I walked up was the inside looked really nice. The hostess was super friendly and I decided to sit at the bar since I was alone. The bartender was very friendly and engaging. I started with the Tzatziki dip and Pita chips and it was REALLY GOOD. I then went with the Horiatiki salad, thos think was full of that old school Greek Salad flavor(VERY TASTY). for my main course, I went with the Australian Lamb Chops. The Chops were good size and perfectly cooked as I went with a Medium temp. The flavor of the chops were incredible. I will definitely come here again to try something different... Last thing, the restroom was really clean. I give this place a 4.8.

Today however we planned a birthday at Shonuff at 4:30pm at their Broad Street restaurant. When we got there, it was closed despite signage and Google saying they should be open until 6pm. It was shocking and confusing. I understand it's the awkward time between Christmas and New Years where some businesses are taking a holiday break but no where did we see any change of hours notification, not on Google, not their website nor on Instagram. Very disappointing for the birthday girl and her guests that 1) traveled hours for this event and 2) were dressed for a seafood boil. So after visiting this empty and closed restaurant our party of 6 ended up going to the Durham food hall for seafood. To the store: please be sure to update signage. We really love your seafood and want to plan our trips. I will also let the store know this feedback too.

Not that it matters too much but I was expecting charbroiled oysters on the half shell like in New Orleans, but these oysters come already shucked without the shell. The NC Catfish on the other hand was good, but not great. The catfish was crispy. The beans, rice, and pork were perfectly cooked. That's the first thing you notice--plenty of parking. I had no trouble finding a spot on two separate visits this week. Inside, it's a cozy setup with a bar, table seating, and an outdoor patio area. It has that laid-back oyster shack feel. The patio looks like it could be dog-friendly, though I didn't confirm. The place is clean, and the staff are genuinely friendly across the board--welcoming without being overbearing. Food-wise, it delivers. On my first visit, I had steamed clams and steamed Gulf shrimp. Both were phenomenal. The clams were sweet and perfectly cooked, and the shrimp was just as impressive--simple, fresh, and done right. Second visit, I went a different route and ordered a hamburger--yes, at a seafood spot. Running keto, I skipped the bun, and it turned out to be a great call. Cooked exactly to order and full of flavor, it held its own against the seafood. Whether you're coming in for oysters on the half shell, fresh seafood, or even a solid burger, this place covers it.
