I have had several services there over the years. My favorite is the Deluxe Spa Pedicure. Most recently I had the Deluxe Facial and once again it was a wonderful experience. Victoria, Tu and the rest of the staff are all so kind & friendly. Paris Nails is very clean, tranquil and beautifully decorated. Since my daughter's review got taken down, I went ahead and made an account to leave my experience here. I came here a few months ago, and my experience was nothing short of negative, I absolutely hated the manicure, it was poorly done. I received a gift certificate from my fiancée to go here to get pampered and expected good or at the very least some mediocre service, but instead I got ladies that gave me an attitude and criticized me, and told me I should get some "work done". You shouldn't be talking to/about your customers like this, period. I came in expecting a positive environment with a quality manicure, and got the opposite. Victoria was very sweet and kind but I do wish she had asked me if the length she was going to cut my nails was okay with me. I wanted to check first but she started cutting all of my nails super quickly and I felt like while the work was very thorough, she could have taken the time to ask me about the length. I scheduled a mani-pedi for after work (5:30pm) and was asked to get there as early as possible, which I did (5pm). They started with the pedicure which was great. While the pedicure was going on the other girl came over to start the manicure - which I did not prefer. She did not prep my fingers at all - no water, no cuticle oil, nothing. Just started scraping away at dry cuticles (painful) all while I'm trying to reach over myself so she can do both hands while I'm getting a pedicure. They act like "oh you're getting the princess treatment" Well, no, it's not comfortable at all. If you do not want to schedule both at 5pm - just don't schedule both. I would have done them on different evenings. I will not go back, I don't feel like they even care about the customers, just how quickly they can go home. read more

I was very disappointed in the owner Victoria how she talked to me. She was very unprofessional and she lost a customer. I made an appointment with Bema and specified that I need extra time because I wanted a design. They said no problem. When I came and showed what I wanted which was a design of butterfly, Victoria the owner got furious and talked to me in a way you should never talk to a customer. For this design she said to me I am going to have to charge you $50 extra, you should have send me a picture of what you want and then I would tell you if we can do this or not. This was so unprofessional, that I am surprised how she has a business in a first place. I will never go back to Paris Nails and I will never recommend them either! read more

I have been getting my nails done for 30+ years and Victoria is by far the Best Nail Technician/Nail artist that I have ever gone to. Her staff is also very talented. My Mom has been getting her nails done by Victoria for 15+ years and tonight I had my first appointment! AMAZING!! She pays such attention to detail and she really understands the condition of your nails and if they are ready for the application that you are requesting. If they are not, she will suggest a better approach and a plan to work up to what you had wanted. Very professional and knowledgeable. I was disappointed when I found an expired gift certificate from this nail salon and called to see if they would still honor it. Victoria said no. Then I researched online and found out that gift certificates in Illinois do not expire. It said , "In Illinois, as of Jan. 1, 2008, no gift certificate/card issued by a single merchant or affiliated group of merchants can expire." I thought that was the case. Got a pedicure here yesterday & I'm definitely planning on coming back here again! There was about a 7 minute wait for a walk-in at 5pm, which was totally fine. The place itself is gorgeous & welcoming, it makes you feel like you're in a luxurious palace! The women there are all pleasant, offering tea and always asking how you're doing & what you'd like done exactly. They especially remember their regulars! The pedicure itself lasted about 45-50 mins, and didn't feel rushed at all even when they started to get a little busier. For a basic pedicure it costed $40 & it includes tea, polish, foot + leg scrub, lotion, nail trim, and foot buffing. The massage chairs are wonderful, too! For some that might be on the pricier side, but it's worth it and the ladies here are diligent about their work and obviously care about their clients. read more

I got a fungal infection last time i did my pedicure. very disappointed . very expensive too

Let me start off by saying I am so upset about my experience here that it lead me to writing my first yelp review and I didn't even pay for my service (because someone got me a gift certificate for mani/pedi so I only really paid for the tip). I called last week to make an appointment with Anna because someone recommended her. I get there and tell them I have an appointment with Anna. I was told to pick a color (which in my opinion wasn't a good selection) and take a seat. Half way through my pedi, I realized my lady wasn't Anna ...I made an appointment with Anna and specifically mentioned that when I checked in. Why was I given to someone else when Anna didn't have a client and I had an appointment with her? I had Hong or Hang. Can't remember her exact name. My pedicure was not worth the $30!!!! She barely scrubbed my feet, didn't take care of my cuticles, and didn't even use a base coat (for my mani or pedi). Time for the mani...my nails were filled crooked (which I pointed out to her, but she barely understood English), my cuticles look no different than when I got there, and she cut me (I get it, it happens sometimes, but don't just paint over it). I've never had such a bad paint job either!!! It's not smooth and is already chipping on the corners (did I mention it's only been an hour since I left the salon and I haven't even used my hands yet?!) I'm sorry...but that's not a $15 manicure job. This place is totally overpriced ($45 for mani/pedi) for the job they do. Maybe if I had gotten Anna I would've had a different experience, but I'm definitely got going back there! I'll stick to my salons in the city that charge $30-$35 for mani and pedi and do a phenomenal job. I honestly feel bad for the people of the area that have to go here because there isn't something else nearby. Drive the extra ten minutes and go somewhere better. You deserve it! read more

I walked in today without an appointment since 'walk ins are welcome'. Big sign at the door ;) Let me start by saying, that my nails look good after the no chip. I don't no how long though, but for now they look nice. What my problem with this salon is is the feel inside. There is no welcoming when you walk in, no hello. I had to say 'Hi" to be seen. A guy did my nails and his attitude was just unbelievable. He seemed totally annoyed and bothered that he actually had to do my nails. They don't give you a neck massage, not a real hand massage either. No 'bye, thanks for coming in' after the treatment, no nothing. This place saw me once and never again. I guess they are not aware of the fact how many nailsalons are out there and how big the competition is. Sorry. This salon is a total loss. read more
