This place is new and kind of hiding in plain sight which is probably bad for them but good for me because I was able to walk right in without an appointment on a Saturday! The only reason I knew they existed is "Tina" everyone in my family gets their nails done with her. She used to work at a different place and thank god she had my Mother in law's phone number and told her where she was going. I cannot say enough good things about Tina. She is hard working, very detailed and honest I always leave happy with her work. The only other person in the Salon when I went was another one of Tina's loyal costumers who commented that she now drives almost an hour to come get her nails done with her so that should tell you everything! The place is brand new, very clean and fancy looking I would highly recommend! read more

Fung did an amazing job! I would recommend her. Fast and attention to detail. I had a no chip done and she picked out the color I exactly was looking for, got lots of compliments too. Thank you Fung! read more

Went here for the first time bc regular place shut down last min (blessing in disguise). Loved my nails. Janet was super patient as I chose what I wanted specifically. Place is super hygienic as well. They give you your own files to keep and bring next time you come. This place is literally a hidden gem read more

Soho Nail Spa - Nails by Janet - Nail Salons Near Me - Schaumburg, Illinois

Janet is the best!! Look at my nails! That's all free-hand! She's insanely good. I use to go to Janet in high school and then I moved and lost her. For over ten years I looked for someone as good as her and couldn't find anyone. My friend once said to me that she goes to her and I was so excited to find her! although she is much further from me now, she is most definitely worth the trip!!! read more

I have been to many nail salons and this place is okay. I came here once for a gel x and the lady who did my work didn't know why she was doing it seemed. There was TOO much glue and if there wasn't enough, she literally got the glue wand and started putting it under the nail itself. It was definitely weird. She even stood up to correct it to get angles on f those nails. What sucked was that two nails came off the next day. I called and they correct it but even then it was still weird. Just two fix two nails, I was there for over an hour. And it wasn't just nails but the polish was not smooth even after the top coat. She tried to "save" the nail by drilling it out rather than just removing it and putting a new nail. However, after SEVERAL attempts she finally decided to remove the nail and glues a new one. Because of that, I don't think I'd want to go back. The vibe there was okay but there was TOO much clutter. A lot of things every where and didn't seemed organized as I saw belongings on the pedicure chair (jackets, water bottles, etc). I also saw mail on the table but when I say mail I mean stacks. I only went cause of a recommendation but I don't think I'd do that on here. read more

DON'T waste your money... I went to this place , because the one I usually go had no openings.. this was the worst thing I could've done. There was only one nail technician, she suggested me getting the "dip" it was my first time doing it, I usually get no chip. The color was not even close to the one I chose. She did not listened to what I wanted. After she was done , I told her I was not happy with the result . The only thing she offered was luring no chip on top. I thought it wasn't a good idea , because I thought it would fall off. She said it was fine. It wouldn't come off... well I was right ... it's been not even a day.. and my nails look like crap .. lesson learned.. NOT GOING TO THAT PLACE AGAIN!!!!! Everrrrrr.... read more

Soho Nail Spa - Soho nail and spa... HORRIBLE WORK !!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Schaumburg, Illinois

I absolutely love this place! The ladies who did mine and my sisters nails were so sweet and they took their time. They constantly made sure we were okay and taken care of, I've never seen such great hospitality at a nail salon before. They cleaned up my nails and exfoliated my feet (the scrub they used felt so good). My sister got powder nails, it was her first time trying it and she loves the outcome. read more

They were able to get me in on a busy Saturday and it was worth it. I love the color I got and the attention to detail that was taken into making my manicure beautiful. Wonderful conversation and a relaxed atmosphere has made me excited to come back! read more

New owner! Definitely give this place a try. The salon is clean and neat. There are SO many colors to choose from and they have mermaid/holo effects for your nails. I got a spa pedicure and couldn't be happier with it. The lavender smell of the exfoliant, mask, and lotion were so relaxing. The chairs are state of the art. They move, heat, and massage. read more

This is the second time I've been to this nail salon now. I was here 4 days ago and they've literally started peeling off my nails. No idea what they are using for polish or upper coat or lower coat. I normally get a single coat so this doesn't happen but I guess I was wrong. read more

I have been here like 10-15x now. Positives: a) it's very clean, they sterilize everything and every set they use on me is opened out of plastic sealed bags. b) the massage chairs are TDF. Great perk and I would go there just for that if they decided to add that to their services. c) decor is very nice. Very airy and luxe d) they do good work. It's always well done and lasts long. e) when I bring my daughter along, they're really nice to her and will let her sit in a massage chair if they're free and offer her water. Once they offered her donuts. She absolutely loves it there. Negatives: a) they looks pissed off anytime you use a coupon THEY advertise. It's the weirdest thing. They do try to up-charge. b) the customer service leaves a lot to be desired but it hovers somewhere between average and below average. c) They argue with you about the nails YOU want. I can't have acrylics that are too long because I have a toddler and work with kids. Jenny gets annoyed because she says they look better longer. But it's my hands. I don't feel like I should have to debate this. Just do the length I want and do it well. Summary; While I still quite like it here because they do awesome work, it's central located so I can just hop from there to Starbucks. It does require a little more effort on my part than I'd like. I've had to make them change a color because it didn't match what was in their nail samples and when I pointed it out Jenny then just tried to paint over it which was annoying. If you have a coupon they'll charge you for extra things and you have to look out for that. read more

Because of my regular nail spa salon was so busy. I found this one near my house. That's my biggest mistake . Completely dispointed. Ladies were so rude. They just want to finish work and want to go home. The worst salon I ever had and I have a coupon still she charged $15 extra. If u go this salon, please check ur, Bill. I suggest, please not to go. Price was cheaper than others but also works are hellacious. First and last time I was there. I don't want to give any star. read more

I went here on a Monday due to my normal salon being closed. I'm giving it a 2 because the ladies were very nice however I will not be returning. My pedicure only lasted a week before it was really chipping. Also, I decided last minute to get my eyebrows waxed which was a huge mistake. The wax was too way too warm. I walked out with burns around my eyebrows and some skin missing underneath. read more

Near the Dunkin and Starbucks. Jennie and Elena were very kind. Salon is spotless. New pedi massage chairs and a very large selection of products and colors. She also does brows. I had the deluxe gel pedi and it looks great. No shortcuts - nice salt scrub hot towel and great polish. They are new- Jennie worked at another salon and now opened her own. This spa is nice - good pricing and hygienic. The technician was thorough and did a good job. The only downside is that there aren't many workers so walk-ins may have to wait a while. It is better to have an appointment. read more
