I had a terrible experience. The man who did my manicure cut me twice and used his own finger without a glove to wipe that blue stuff in. When he was being so aggressive with my cuticles, before he cut me the first time, I asked him to be careful multiple times. Never again will I step foot in this place. read more

I have never written a review on yelp before as I find them to be a playground for competitors to write bad things about other companies. However today I had the worst experience in the 25 years I've been getting my nails done and have to warn people. I'm sad to say, I too was a new customer and had an unusually horrible experience twice in a row....therefore I will NEVER be back. I have an odd advantage as I worked my way through college as a nail tech in Florida. So I know salon etiquette, but more importantly, I know when a technician messes up & doesn't know how to fix it. I too waited my turn, telling the owner (female technician) I had a meeting in an hour & would get a full set if she could take me now (after I waited 40 min - when she told me only "15 minutes"). However just 15 minutest into it, she serviced everyone that walked in the door; one with a broken nail, one wanted a design & she even stopped to take an eye brow & lip wax that also just walked in. So needless to say, 1 hour later I left with a set of acrylic nails that were not filed or painted because she couldn't just service me. -Yes, later that night I pulled out my old box of nail goods and finished them myself.... Today the husband (co-owner) did my nails and they were awful, one was crooked - it looked like a hook! My two favorite nails are my pointers, I always get designs on them but today that was not the case as he glued my left nail on crooked and tried to tell me my nail grows like that! Funny I walked in the door with a straight nail!! After he argued with me, he proceeded to yell at me - refusing to fix it and slammed his tools down. His wife took off the nail and she put it on straight and it looked fine. But that's not even the worst part, while his wife was fixing his botched job, the husband continued to complain about it to another customer sitting right behind me!! I had to defend myself again and he actually started yelling at me again! A woman getting her nails done next to me spoke up and told him "you should be saying you are sorry and fix it. She is the customer. You are going to lose a lot of customers like this, including me.". Then he shut up! I have never been spoken to like that in my life and along with that woman, I too will never be back. I should have made the effort to go to my favorite salon in Deer Park, Doris is not only an excellent nail tech, she is friendly & respectful..and would have never glued my nail on crooked & refuse to fix it. read more

Truly at a loss for words.... Never in my 8 years of having acrylic nails have my nails looked this bad. Not only were more than half of my fingers bleeding the gentleman doing my nails fought me about the shape. I should have just left then... Went here for a no chip manicure and pedicure on a Thursday but made an appointment just in case. I had Julie who did an amazing job. It was $55 for both services. You get a $5 discount if you get a no chip and pedicure otherwise it's $60 if bought separate. I will definitely come back here again. read more

I came here on my birthday to try and get my nails done. They did them and after sitting under the dryer for an hour and getting them to tell me it was OK to leave I left. For the next day and a half black color was coming off my nails getting on everything . I called and talked to Jamie and she said no problem to come in and get it changed. Every time I called they we busy. Finally I came in with pictures as proof .and she not only made me pay but charged me for the Polish removal. read more

Omg! Horrible place to get your nails done... They are not about the customer and do what they think is quick and easy. My nails were horrible when they were said and done. If your not a established customer I would highly stay away. My figures were cut and bloody from them grinding to much of my natural nail and cut the bed of the nails as well. Its said but I would stay away. Not worth the money for a bad quality of work.... Said to say it was of these people never went to school to be nail professionals and they talk bad about the customers in Vietnamese to one and other. No a good place. read more

I decided to give it a 3 out of 5 because I have gotten acrylic nails before and they turned out great. Went in today to get a no chip manicure at 11 this morning. By 4 I had my first chip and now 4 of my nails are chipped. Including tip I spent $41 and this is crap. They also don't have a color variety they have 100 shades of pink though.. which is great if you like pink but for people like me who like neutral colors... it's a disappointment. I used to live in mchenry and got my nails done at G Nail Spa in lakemoor and think it might be worth the drive to get it done there. Staff is okay... not too friendly not rude. I have all but amazing experiences here. Their prices are great for pedicures and they make you feel comfortable. I do regular nail polish pedicures and they last longer then non chip.at other locations. I wanted to try this salon and walked in today, no appt., to have a full set put on. The nail technician was working on someone else and I patiently waited my turn. I waited for about 10 minutes when another woman walked in for a manicure. To my knowledge she had no appt and the nail technician asked ME if I could wait 15 minutes to do her manicure. I believe she was a regualr, but I too could become a regualr! I believe that this was very poor business! Isn't it first come, first serve?
