I had a really great experience here. He was extremely polite, patient, and sweet, and truly took his time with my service. The work came out really good, and I never felt rushed. I wasn't feeling well during my appointment, and he checked in on me multiple times, ran to grab tissues, and made sure I was okay before and after I went to the bathroom -- that kindness really meant a lot. He was also fast and efficient, the salon itself is very pretty, clean, and well-kept, and the pricing was very reasonable for the service I received. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I had a simple gel x set done and one of them wasn't even attached to my nail. I went back and asked her to fix it and she just pretended to and honestly hurt me in the process. She said "it won't come off trust me". I just left cause these people were obviously unwilling to redo the nail they messed up. Because I liked the set which was very simple I had that nail redone somewhere else. But now I'm very sad bc my other nails are falling off too and I'm gonna have to get the whole set removed because of how poorly it was put on. I have had multiple dip powder manicures done with extension tips. They have all stayed on for 4+ weeks, no matter which technician applied them from this salon. I recently tried Gel X with extensions and I'm on week 2.5 and they look as perfect as day 1. I highly recommend this salon. My nail extensions have fallen off immediately from other salons, but this salon is very good. I do wish they would play some calming music though, instead of playing the television. read more

BEWARE!! DO NOT GO HERE! I used to come here often with my mom and never had problems. Sure we are perfectionists and like things done a certain way but we are never rude and ALWAYS tip 20%. But Today was the worst experience yet. I tried to call yesterday to make an appointment and the call wouldn't go through. The voice message kept saying " this number is not accepting calls from your area". So today I tried to call again from my cell phone and it didn't work again. I decided to call using my work phone and it worked. The call went through as normal. Don the owner made an appointment for me. I told him I would be there at 4:15. Then I felt really weird about the call so I had my coworker call the salon off of her cell phone to see if it would work, AND IT WORKED! So I go there at my appointment time, my mom was already there waiting for me outside at 3:45. When we went inside at 4:15, they took a while to say hello to us then he finally came up to me and told me he couldn't take our appointment and that we were late and that he was busy now even though we weren't late and we literally just saw the lady he was working on, leave. Obviously he had an issue with us and I'm not sure why. This is horrible customer service and Don clearly doesn't know how to run a business. LOL I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF A BUSINESS BLOCKING CUSTOMER PHONE NUMBERS. What a joke. Also be careful because they will keep "adding on" to your service without telling you how much it is. Also their pedicures suck and they don't clean the nail bed correctly. read more

I am SO excited that NV Nails opened! I have been telling my husband since we saw the signs go up that I can't wait to have a place so close (and a place that you we don't need to use Rand Road for!). The inside is very clean and new (As one would expect for a brand new opening), but it feels really warm and relaxing. The pedicure chairs are SO comfortable. I'm always nervous about the chairs that have massagers - I never know if I'm going to end up hurt by the intensity. These are perfect though. The girl who did my nails was very nice and took my cues on how much I want to talk (I really enjoy just scrolling on my phone and not talking much, so this was a huge relief!). I spoke with the owner of NV and he was also kind and appreciative of me stopping in during their first week open. My nails have lasted the longest they've ever lasted, and let's be real, I'm not super dainty about anything so this is nothing short of a miracle. I was having a difficult time choosing a color. They helped me pick a perfect one. I did not feel rushed. They kept suggesting options until we found exactly what I was looking for. Their colors are in a book rather than rows and rows of chips. This made color selection so much easier. The seating is extremely comfortable. May was my technician. She was gentle and professional. Got a mani-pedi, it was good and lasted and the place is clean. The reason for the 3 star review is that you can't just make an appointment for a simple manicure, you have to "walk in". Some people are on a tight schedule and can't just walk in to get their nails done, it's almost like if you're not spending enough money, you're not important enough for an appointment. read more

I normally Love this place but today was pretty awful. I don't get my nails done regularly so this was a treat to myself and my nails turned out terrible. I showed Susan the picture of the nails I wanted and told her the colors since they were different than what was pictured. She nodded and got to work. About 75% of the way through it was obvious she couldn't do what I asked but instead of telling me that, she kept trying to get there. Now I have super thick dip nails with a no chip on top (he attempt to get it right) and my ring fingers are bumpy and the line I asked for is basically just a blob. My nails also feel sticky to the touch. I am so disappointed and wish she had communicated that what I was asking for was beyond her skill set. They sent a text offering me a Friday appointment, and when I arrived (even through they were one tech short), they provided the best service. The inside of this establishment is very fancy! It gives the illusion that you're walking into a high end salon. The services are fine, but are a tad overpriced for what you get. The technicians are super quick, not very personal, and are always wanting to upsell the pedicures. They charge a few extra bucks for using a lotion with "minerals from the sea." It's a beautiful nail salon and very clean. All the techs are very pleasant. However after having a no-chip my nails are in bad shape. My tech filed my natural nail with the machine way too much. They have all broke and become very thin. I told her multiple times not to file the top of the nail but I'm not sure she understood me. Sorry I can't recommend for a no-chip mani. read more
