Priti patiently showed us our options and helped us order a custom outfit from India. We are very pleased with the sherwani that we received. It was exactly what we wanted - it was good quality fabric and good design at a reasonable price. I also ended up getting some kurtis and kurti sets from here. Again, good quality clothes at reasonable prices. Also, Priti provided good customer service. She never pressured us to commit to/purchase anything. She definitely made wedding shopping easy for us. This place is going to be my go to Indian clothing store from now on. I no longer feel the need to go all the way to Devon to get Indian clothes! Unless something incredibly horrific were to happen like the RedBox machine exploding before my eyes, what is there really to say? I should probably also clarify that I am almost never on any prescriptions, so I have never used their actual pharmacy itself. I work with several pill poppers, and at the office I hear them bickering in the break room about pharmacies the same way catty women would about shoes. Since I am not involved in that whole lifestyle, I do not have much to add about the level of service for Wallgreen's in that regard. I typically stop in for odd's and ends types of purchases when I am too lazy to want to drive to one of the bigger places as this location is extremely close to my apartment. What others have said about it being in an inconvenient location is right on the money. The corner of Golf and Barrington is a zoo at times, which makes it a frustrating voyage if you go during peak times. Their is a stop light for both entering and leaving the location at least, which is a big plus for this area. One of the most annoying aspects of driving in the Schaumburg/Hoffman area is the amount of businesses that do not have direct access to them from the opposite side of the street. This basically forces you to have to drive to a stop light and do a U-Turn. Lame! So this place is actually a cut above average when viewed from that perspective. This location is also open 24 hours, which comes in handy when you are a night owl like me and have a sudden urge for a Hot Pocket.

Jewelry is arranged by type; there's a large selection of pearls; dozens of cameos; and, when I was there, a large display of Bakelite and other vintage plastic bangles (with a magazine article on how not all vintage plastic jewelry is Bakelite). Some southwest/turquoise; a bunch of diamonds; lots of colored stones; and even some enamel pieces. If you don't see what you're looking for, ask; I wanted to see amber and they brought out a bunch, and they also had additional mourning jewelry in the back. The people serving me were very helpful, finding bracelets in my size, helping with tricky catches, etc. and they knew their stuff (what era jewelry was from; no, we don't have jet but we have bog oak...). Several customers were obviously regulars; one approached me out of nowhere to tell me how good the staff were to deal with. Prices are very reasonable; I was very pleased with the vast selection, spent less on a couple of pieces than I expected, and went home with some treasures. This is on the main street right next to the Catlow theater; there is street parking and 1 hour and 3 hour unmetered parking a block away at the Jewel.

The pharmacy doesn't necessarily seem like they added to staff, but they are acknowledging people in line (inside and in the drive through) more quickly. One thing that slows down the pharmacy, particularly the drive through, is when people ask for other merchandise other than prescriptions. While I'm sure this is a good service for those who use it, if you need a prescription, it lengthens your wait time pretty significantly. I wish Walgreens would reevaluate this service and have people go into the store to buy merchandise.
