Definitely other places in Huntley that are worth the money, after we got the $35 pedicure that lasted 15 minutes. They looked upset we decided against the $90 option. The only difference between the two is you can pick your scent and the have a steamer on your legs. Which would be nice but not for $90. (After a quick google search I found the same machine online for $89). I'm all for supporting small businesses but they have to provide the same service across the board. read more

I asked for short coffin shape matted nails and left with basically square shape and not matted.. one lady put my tips on and the shape was fine then another lady polished my nails and basically changed the shape to more square... very disappointed and will not be coming back here. I went to Lily Nails after a recommendation and had a dip/powder manicure before vacation. This was on a Tuesday and by Friday half of them were chipping off - not just small chips either. One nail was half off and four others were lifting from the top. Because I was out of town, I couldn't go back to get them fixed but I wouldn't have anyway. They didn't use the normal dip top coat, my tech used the gel top coat and it is peeling off almost every nail now. I learned my lesson, sticking with my usual salon from now on. read more

While visiting my parents in Huntley, I was due for a new dip-powder manicure and made an appt. I cannot recall the gentleman's name that did my nails but he was very gentle, precise, and did a fantastic job. Everyone there including the other customers were incredibly nice and friendly. Glad that my mom has a good nail salon near her and I'll definitely go again next time I visit. read more

First time in today. My regular salon could not take me so I gave them a call and was able to be seen pretty quickly for a pedicure and a no chip manicure. Tiffany did my pedicure and she was the sweetest. I really enjoyed chatting with her. Another technician I did my nails; not chatty at all but that was okay. Everyone in the salon was friendly. I will definitely return. read more

I get regular no-chip manicures at Lily's Nail Spa with John and it is always top-notch! I can get usually 2.5-3 weeks with a manicure looking just as great as the day I got it! They can get very busy on weekends so I definitely recommend making an appointment. A no-chip mani runs around $40-45 before tip. I cannot say enough good things about Lily's! read more

Disappointed. I have been using this salon for over 6 months. The last dip manicure I paid for fell apart tremendously. I went back because my real nails were breaking. They filed them down too short and put clear polish over. 2 days later more than 1/2 had chips or more broken nails. They redid, added a few tips and I thought I'd be good to go. Those lasted only another 3 days. I went in today. There was a wait which I understand and they asked me to come back 3 hrs later. I stated I would have to go somewhere else and they said goodbye and ignored read more

I can't even give this place a one star. I am disgusted and honestly ashamed of how I was treated here. Lily did my fill-ins for the 3 times I was there. She was very rough and aggressive when doing my nails the first time. After coming back the second time to do a fill with Lily, I noticed a small greenish bluish spot on my right hand the middle finger. It got worse when I came in the third time and I had not just one finger, but 3 starting to discolor. Lily didn't say a word about this, just basically brushed it off. The nails lasted me a week until they started lifting on the sides. How do your nails go bad after just one week???? I came into the nail salon today to talk to someone about this issue because this has never occurred with the 6 years I've been doing my nails. The employee explained to me that the reason I have this is because water got in between the nail and acrylic. Yeah, I think tf not. I've been working at tropical smoothie for 4 years, getting my hands wet every second, always using a wet rag to clean and my nails have NEVER looked like this. I decided to read more about this and from several articles, it explained that when nail techs don't clean AND sanitize their drill ends, utensils, etc. this is what happens. Do not come here, I repeat do not waste your time and money here. read more

I have been coming here for quite a while and i'm absolutely so disappointed about my last visit. I have never had this lady before but she was extremely rough with my nails. She put a primer on my nails and got it all over my fingers which caused them to burn and made three of my fingers bleed with the nail file. I left the salon with glue all over my fingers as well. read more

I went there two times, the first getting a gel fill and the second also getting a pedicure. The pedicure was great. They are not friendly people. When I gave the tip nothing so I thought maybe they expected more. Too bad. No good-bye see you next time. Personalities were not there at all. I went back to my original place and the work that was done on my nails was unbelievable. So much had to be done thanks to Lilly Nails. So all I can say is "if you can find another place, go there" as they will not see me again. read more

I had an appointment and waited over 20 minutes. This was my first visit. I did see the technician who was recommended by the yelp reviews. I was very disappointed when three of my nails literally broke within two weeks. That rarely happens to me since I do not engage in any activities which would cause them to break often. I will not go back, but I did provide three stars because the place is very clean the staff is polite but the overall products are not worth the price. I have visited other salons and my nails have lasted over a month. The fact that 3 broke within a 2 week period was very disappointing to me. Gel rarely breaks and in the past I know old products will not hold up well and cause the tips to break easily. I am desperately trying to find that place in the area to call home for my nails....still looking! read more

If you want good service and a halfway decent muanicure/pedicure, do NOT go to Lily Nails. After my appointment started 15 minutes late, Lily herself did my pedicure and she did everything backwards. She started off massaging my legs, then taking the nail polish off my toes and painted them. She didn't even do any cuticle care or file my toenails. I had to ask her to re-do one of my toes because it was all jagged and she told me it was too short and she couldn't fix it. Throughout the entire service she was distracted and got up every 30 seconds to answer a phone, take care of another customer, etc. I then very reluctantly proceeded to get a manicure and told them multiple times I wanted a regular dip manicure. As the lady was putting the top coat on, she used gel topcoat. I told her I did not want gel and communicated that multiple times. She told me it was too late and still made me pay the additional $15 for the gel. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY SERVICES! read more

This salon is very friendly, they work hard to fit you in as quickly as they can and the services are good quality. Nice pedi chairs- and they do Dip manicures which are great for look and durability. I go here about once a month. read more

Do NOT get gel powder nail extensions removed here. The technicians will RIP THEM OFF. They remove them by forcing the tips for plastic nail extensions between the gel layer and your nail!!! Extremely painful. Destroyed my nails. I would have ripped them off at home by myself and saved 10 dollars If I would've known. Once I left, I did research and found multiple professionals saying that gel nail extensions are supposed to be removed by soaking them off or filing them down. I will say that my nails lasted almost 3 weeks and looked nice after I got them done here. BUT, if you are looking to have them removed SAVE YOUR $$$$ or go somewhere else. Ouch read more

Been a long time customer but I will not be going back. One of the girls does a nice job but the owner is not very friendly and her husband was on the phone in the middle of the salon speaking very loudly in another language the entire time I was there. If I could leave negative stars I would-I was so disappointed with my recent experience here. I came in for the first time wanting a powder dip manicure. The girl who did my nails did such a horrible job-over drilling and at the end the polish was all bubbled up. My nails were literally sore from what she did. I had to go back the next day to get it soaked off and then had them fix it with just no chip polish but my nails are so brittle and weak now from the process. I will never be back and beware getting powder dip done here. They were kind enough to fix the mistake for no charge but my natural nails are ruined now. read more

I've been going to this place for while and I now stopped going because the owner and everyone else is just rude and I always feel rushed

Yikes. I felt scolded from the minute I chose my color (that is very light ...) to getting on the chair (no - don't step like that you will tip it over (how do you step on it then?) ) to how short I wanted my nails to how should sit at the dryer. It was as if I had never ever had a mani pedi before. And the final quality was sorely disappointing. Will not be back. read more

Third time I had my nails dipped at Lily's. First two times was fine but third time I was given an inexperienced powder dip technician. They were bumpy and so thick they were gobbed. I spoke to the owner and she asked me to come back the next day for a redo. Now two trips four hours into my week she did not re do them but sanded them down. I complained and said this was too expensive of a service for her to have done this. I asked for a refund she said come back tomorrow (now this would be third trip this week there) and she would redo them but only next day anymore time and she would not. I chose of course not to and will never go back. $45.00 later and the owner did not care, and no refund ! Powder dips are great but not easy and they should not let every tech do them if not trained and they should give a refund if the service is this bad.
