We have a favorite donut shop that is a couple miles away, but this is literally 2-blocks away so we needed to try it. Wow. Chocolate Croissant 3.5 - Flaky and good chocolate ratio, but needs to be warmed up to rank higher Ham & Cheese Croissant 3 - Benefits from being heated up - lots of melted cheese, which is a blessing when warm but not great when cold (room temp) Coffee Croissant Donut 5 - literally my new favorite donut... soooo delicious with a nice cream flavor, delicious but not too sweet icing, and the coffee bean works nicely with the whole package

Stopped by to get a birthday cake. The girl was kind offering me to write bday wishes on cake. Unfortunately they couldn't find our reward account. It became a slight hassle. We actually have account with them. Anyway the cake was yummy, beautiful and personal. We enjoyed it very much! Thanks guys you've been awesome!

Came by the other day for dessert and it was a decent experience. Opted for the mixed fruit tart and it was a pricey treat. The tart was light and flaky. The custard was tasty and the fruits on top wre fresh. Staff wore uniforms and disposable gloves.

A friend bought me a vegan blueberry muffin and a Mr Bear Chocolate muffin from this place. Both were so good, I ate it in a few minutes. I forgot to take a photo of the Mr Bear Chocolate muffin as I was hungry for a snack, ate it so fast, but remember to take photo of the package. The vegan blueberry muffin was nice and soft and moist to eat too. It was a nice treat to receive from a friend. I love all the bakery goodies here. I haven't tried everything yet, but will do so one bake goodie at a time. If you have never try this place, you should as you will not disappoint. The cakes and drinks are really good too.

Can't go wrong with a Paris Baguette cake! They are always delicious, light and fluffy. We tend to gravitate towards the strawberry soft cream one. It's about $50ish and feeds everybody. The cream is super light and the cake is not dry, fluffy and not overly sweet. Always a good option!

They open late till 9pm on Sunday night, this is great, we managed to catch the last minute purchase. We had ham and cheese croissant, coffee twist bread and tiramisu cake slice. All good.

It is definitely your neighborhood bakery cafe, bringing simple but great tasting cake! I was able to try two cakes and was totally satisfied! I tried the mixed berry soft cream cake. Wow! That cake may look simple, but it is so soft and creamy, literally in the details. It was also very light and the berries were fresh! Also tried the chocoholic chiffon cake and this one was decadent. Just hits the spot!

Stopped by for a sweet treat and hot coffee while waiting for my car to get repaired on a rainy day. Small footprint and seemed to stock smaller selection of pastries than other larger PG locations I've visited. Had surprising large selection of savory pastries vs standard sweet tarts and almond or chocolate croissants. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Enjoyed the comfy bench seat table in corner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Music was not too loud[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Strong complimentary WiFi. Good prices for quality .

Can I just say I'm a BIG BIG BIG fan of their Mocha cake!!! I have tried very many flavors of cakes from Paris baguette but Mocha cake is and will remain my all time favorite. That light airy texture and not-too-overpowering sweetness somehow makes it the perfect cake! And definitely the chosen one for office parties and birthday parties. Blueberry Chiffon, Tiramisu(Sugar butter flour makes this way better), the notorious Sweet Potato cake(which i definitely do not recommend), Mango coconut are a few additional flavors to try out!

I asked for the mint green tea but in ice form not hot. The lady said she can do it. Hmm no... she ended up just giving me an iced green tea instead with the bag leaking out the leaves from inside. So everytime I take a sip.... I'm eating the leaves from the broken tea bag. lol And there's no actual ice !!! Kinda of irritated honestly. I even asked for medium size and she said no it has to be large for iced. Obviously she didn't understand that I was asking for the hot mint green tea to be done in cold iced tea form. She could have clarified.

This place never disappoints. Our all time favorite is the Fresh Fruit Cake, but we decided to try this new flavor, Chocoholic Chiffon cake, it was so delicious! Perfectly soft chocolate cream and filled with crisp chocolate. Just chocolicious!

For my first experience with Paris Baguette, I tried a variety of pastries and am happy to report they were all delicious. Everything was light and not overly sweet, and my favorite was the Honey Castella - a fluffy, spongy, honey-flavored cake that melts in the mouth. The mini strawberry and lemon cream pastry and mini cream cheese pastries are the perfect size to enjoy with coffee as a mid-morning snack or with afternoon tea. While excellent bakery options are plentiful in the Bay Area, I would definitely return to Paris Baguette to try some of their other pastries, breads, and cakes.

This time I decided to stop by here after dinner, my first time sitting down here and ordering. The inside is very clean, modern, and Pinterest-like. They added more decorations and seating from 2 years ago, making the inside more aesthetic. whaT's More always has unique Asian flavors, like durian, earl grey, pandan, red bean, and oolong. The cakes are not too sweet, so definitely Asian parent approved haha! Unfortunately, when we came around 6:30pm, they were sold out of most flavors - so would definitely recommend coming earlier or just ordering online earlier in the morning for pickup. We got the sesame dark chocolate crepe cake. When you eat in the store, the owner provides you with free cups of tea, which are really great for washing down the cake. The chocolate was super rich, and they did not skimp out on the flavor - super chocolatey. The sesame added such a fun earthy and nutty flavor - I thoroughly enjoyed it! The cake is on the slightly denser side, so was super filling. While on the pricier side, the flavors are super unique and the craft that goes into crepe cakes is commendable. I will be ordering my next cake from here again!

The place was situated in a quiet plaza just outside of Lawrence Expressway. There's ample parking but it doesn't feel like the location is suitable for a cafe where you can picture sitting inside looking through some big windows facing a busy pedestrian walkway. However, once I stepped inside, I was surprised at how zen and peaceful the decorations were and how fitting it was for a cozy and quiet cafe hangout. The cake shelf was surprisingly busy. And this is where I took one star out because the lines were confusing and the staff skipped me to talk to the group behind me while I was clearly the next to be helped. Luckily another staff member came out from the back kitchen and jumped in to help. The staff spoke fluent mandarin. I was interested in their box cakes. A few of the yelpers raved about their soy milk cake and luckily they had one out for sampling. It was covered with lots of cream and the cake layer was soft and moist, but it was still slightly too sweet for me and I felt that it lacked the tofu kind of soy flavor. Then, I spotted on their menu that they have a black sesame matcha box cake, and black sesame is always my favorite, so I asked for it. They had the last one left! The staff said she had never tried it so she couldn't tell me if it is less sweet than the soy milk cake. Since it was the last one available and I already sampled the soy cake, I decided to give it a try. I am happy that I did. The cake was filled with matcha mousse and tasted light and aromatic with the jasmine kind of matcha flavor. It is definitely less sweet. Unfortunately, it doesn't have as much black sesame as I'd like. But overall, the cake flavor is the kind that I like, subtle, moist, and not too sweet. $38 for a box cake of 4x4 is a bit pricey, but I'm glad that I gave it a try. The cakes were freshly made and tasted best the same day of purchase. They also recommend refrigerating the cake and consuming it within a day or two.

The space feels super cozy and service was friendly. They even mentioned their Burnt Almond Cake has always been their bestseller. First bite tasted heavenly. This had more stronger almond and Italian rum flavor and I was pleasantly surprised by the sugared almond slivers coating. The custard was absolutely generous, creamy, and divine. I'd say Peter's Bakery is more traditional, but more fluffier while Sugar Butter Flour has a more modern twist and is slightly sweeter. Their version definitely has more custard, which I personally enjoy... but this may be too sweet for the older Asian parents family. I'd love to come back to try their cookies and other pastries next time. Their Burnt Almond Cake is to die for and would love to buy another one when I'm in the area. We called in and the worker confirmed there are supposed to be two layers of custard in the Burnt Almond and advised me to email the owner so they could make it right. Look at the next photo. How do you as an owner - instead of simply admitting this was a rushed, dry, and unleveled cake - tell me in one message that the recipe changed because other customers had been complaining about too much custard but that you would be returning back to the original recipe? What am I, 5 years old? I usually get the same item at Basquia Bakery: Korokke, a Korean style fried bread with a crispy panko exterior, filled with savory mash potatoes. For $3, it's a good deal for a snack. Some of Basquia Bakery's baked goods are not labeled so I would have totally overlooked their Korean mochi bread if it weren't for TikTok. Last fall, Korean sweet potato mochi bread (goguma ppang) went viral. For months, the commercial frozen ones were sold out at Korean markets. The supply has since been replenished (along with frozen kimbap) but if you can't commit to an entire bag like myself, then this is for you. Plus, this may be the only bakery in NorCal selling freshly made Korean mochi bread. M E N U Along with mochi bread, Basquia Bakery sells cakes (slice + whole), roll cakes, fruit tarts, cream puffs, bread, buns, k corn dogs, etc. For drinks, they have non-caffeinated lattes (e.g. black sesame and beer). M O C H I B R E A D Available in pairs ($4) or a variety box of the five flavors ($9). I went with the latter. Visited Saturday morning around 9:45 am and the had about a 50% supply left. Can we talk about how adorable these are?! The mochi bread is shaped based on their flavors. The mochi "bread" is mochi with a chewy exterior filled with a mashed filling. This is my personal preference but I like mochi that has more of an elastic, bouncy QQ chew which this didn't quite have. The texture did improve after air-frying the leftovers. Flavors: * Sweet Potato // 4 stars Looks and tastes exactly like the real deal with sweet, fluffy mashed interior but hits different with the slight gelatinous chew. Tip: Eat this with kimchi. It's adds a delicious tang and heat to contrast the natural sweetness. * Corn // 4 stars Enjoyed the creamy corn filling with kernels for texture. * Potato // 4 stars Savory, creamy mashed potatoes. I wanted to pair this with a steak. Lol. * Chestnut // 4 stars I love roasted chestnut but this has cinnamony, chocolatey notes from the dusting of cocoa powder + cinnamon. There were chunks of roasted chestnut. * Kabocha // 3 stars Again, tasted like the real deal but too sweet for me. Overall, glad I tried this cute novelty at Basquia Bakery. I'm now convinced to buy a bag of the commercial frozen ones, yanno for taste test comparison purposes. ;)

When we've brought it to social gatherings in the past, it's also always a hit. Their other desserts, like their lemon bars, french napoleon, and turtle cheesecake, are also major hits. So when it was time for my wedding, I knew I had to get my cake from them! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. They offer cake tasting boxes that include their most popular flavors. However, we had a specific taste profile in mind and asked if they could custom make the samples for us - they said yes without hesitation and didn't charge us extra! The samples were delicious and the pickup process was easy. We went with a ribbon cake (chocolate and vanilla) with fresh strawberries, whipped cream filling, and vanilla buttercream frosting. I also had a very specific vision for my wedding cake - I wanted a detailed three-tier cake with buttercream vintage flowers. We also ordered a plain sheet cake with the same flavors to ensure that we had enough slices for our guests. I worked with Fariba during the ordering process and they were great. I am truly still SHOCKED at how beautiful the cake was and how it matched the inspo photo perfectly. It was a showstopper and extremely delicious. See the photo for details! It was covered in chocolate and filled with custard, and it was just the right sweetness and not too sweet. The size was pleasing, and the custard filling was good. The cake was not enjoyable; to be fair, this might or might not be due to personal taste. It was a 3-layer vanilla cake filled with lemon mousse, covered in buttercream and white chocolate bark pieces, and topped with 10 blueberries. This flavor can be found on their website catalog. I don't know if this is typical for this bakery, but the cake was heavy, claggy on the bottom, and way too sweet. The lemon mousse tasted incredibly strange, as if it were artificial or maybe had some kind of herb or weird flavoring added. The less said about the cream, the better. The white chocolate was quite good though. I saw they had a wide variety of cake offerings, but I don't think I'd want cake from here again. I might get the choux pastry again.

The rich aroma of sesame oil blends beautifully with the warmth of ginger, while tender chicken pieces soak up all the flavorful broth, sweetened slightly by goji berries. Each spoonful warms you from the inside out on a chilly day. Pair it with smooth, delicate noodles to enjoy the full taste of home. Whether you're missing the flavors of your hometown or simply want to soothe your body and soul, a bowl of sesame oil chicken soup is always the most heartwarming choice. They are located in the small plaza with the Firestone tires.I tried: [https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=4F_GkBMNfdIOMDH_NQ8pBg&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=cwKpJY_YulaytMoDAqYeyg&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg] -Matcha Roll Cake w/Red Bean Filling: I liked the matcha flavor, which was strong but not overpowering. However, the cake was a bit dry, and the red bean in the filling was undercooked and on the hard side. I liked how light the cake was, and the whipped cream filling, and likely came on an off day. -Chocolate Roll Cake w/Pudding Filling: The chocolate cake was more moist than the matcha, and I liked the chocolate flavor, which was present but not too strong. The pudding and whipped cream filling were good, but I didn't think they quite went with the chocolate cake. All the ingredients seemed very fresh and quality, and I would come back to give their fruit desserts a try. No seating is available. Parking was easy to find since this small plaza had plenty of spots.

What's challenging is if you're unfamiliar with Turkish breakfasts - the menu is very confusing as you're not quite sure what everything else. You order at the counter and pay and then go to the dining area to get your free tea. Unfortunately the guy behind the counter had no interest in explaining anything to us and it was apparent with his attitude - not the friendliest nor welcoming. But we decided to go for it and got the Nahita Special which basically had mostly everything. The things we loved: The cheese Borek, I wouldn't mind trying the spinach one if we come back here. Huge fan of their Pida bread which is unlimited - you can get more at the counter when you want more. OH and the Turkish tea is unlimited as well. unfortunately I am not familiar with the best way to prepare or get my own Turkish tea? They had some made and some you got from the machine... tons of sugar cubes... Will stick with ordering coffee next time. We also loved the different cheeses paired with different breads, honey and that homemade jam!! SO GOOD... you can make up any tasty bite you want which I think is the nice thing about the turkish breakfast - you create your own bite each and everytime!! It's fun to try different combinations but I will say I love the salty and sweet combo so either feta cheese with jam or honey on the different breads was my favorite bite. What I didn't care for was the Shaksuka - I've had this dish before at other places and usually it's more flavorful with more eggs - this was bland runny eggs in a dish. Not my favorite and I wouldn't choose this again. And reading some other reviews the eggs with sausage didn't sound like a hit either so am thinking maybe we skip getting any egg dishes from here. I think now that I know more about the dishes I can maybe be more selective but overall it's not inexpensive but worth trying at least once.
