Matcha latte is gritty with unmixed powder that never dissolves in an iced drink, the texture ruins it. Korean iced milk coffee flavor is good at first, but too much ice waters it down fast. The vegan blueberry muffin was nice and soft and moist to eat too. It was a nice treat to receive from a friend. I love all the bakery goodies here. DoorDash orders are always correct and I never have issues when I go into this store. The SO loves their vanilla custard pastries and buns so I usually pick up a few every other week. I asked for the mint green tea but in ice form not hot. The lady said she can do it. Hmm no... she ended up just giving me an iced green tea instead with the bag leaking out the leaves from inside. I've come by here several times since my last visit and each visit is more disappointing than the last. This morning I stopped by in the am and the employees were slowly starting to bring out the pastries and fill in all the empty areas. I didn't see the pastry I liked so I got two other ones. There was no one at the cash register as I walked up but saw several employees moving pastries around in the cart. There was a man in a blue vest (possibly store manager as he was not wearing a uniform like the rest of the employees) behind them who just looked at me while I waited for a cashier and then someone came to help. I asked if they had the fresh fruit pastry and they said they didn't. He didn't bother to check so I didn't bother to ask for him to check. I paid and left. Prior to this purchase I bought a cake for a birthday from here. It was a white cream cake with strawberries. This purchase was like buying a cake from Safeway at self-serve station with double the price. The cashier (not wearing a uniform/possible store manager) asked if I wanted candles and I asked if they came with the cake and she rudely noted they come with the cake. Like it was obvious they came with the cake and I should know already. There's no doubt the cakes are pretty but this cake was dry. The cream couldn't save the cake. I'm glad I bought the smallest one as it was thrown out since no one enjoyed it. I'd prefer a basic looking cake over a beautiful cake that taste like cardboard. It will be the last time I purchase a cake from here. The service time and time again is horrible. The employees are not attentive and are not welcoming. Absolutely no greeting is ever made. The quality of the cakes I bought for Christmas was fantastic! The size was smaller than I expected, a medium for the Chocolate cake & small for the cheese cake. Their online order system does not work, beware because once you walk-in to pick-up your order it will not be found. A month ago my boyfriend encountered the same issue when he picked up his mom's bday cake. They didn't find his order either and they didn't end up writing happy birthday on it. I don't think I will be repurchasing more cakes after both of our online orders were lost/missed. They still gave us the cakes but it was extremely unpleasant to fight for something we had already paid for. Also to talk to the staff for 30min, making it a very stressful start to my Christmas.
