The staff is always so friendly here! I picked up a pre-ordered lemon cake that was a big hit for a farewell party. They keep the cakes chilled, and recommend letting it sit out for a couple hours to reach room temperature before serving. They also have a couple gluten-free options that taste just as good (in my opinion).

Recently, I've had a chance to try out Nothing Bundt Cakes again. I had a chance to try out a couple of flavors of their Bundtinis. *Confetti: A classic birthday cake with colorful and festive sprinkles baked in. The white cake was moist and flavorful, along with the icing. *Lemon Raspberry Cakes: refreshing lemon cake hand-swirled with bright raspberry puree. This is a fabulous flavor! My favorite between the two. Support your local business.

Nothing but good experiences at this location, just knocking off a star because of the actual bundt cakes. They're on the sweeter side, partly because of the frosting so I tend to scrape off most of it. The cakes are always very moist though. Their chocolate and lemon cakes are pretty good as are their red velvet and funfetti (tho funfetti is probably the sweetest of the ones I've tried). I have yet to try their carrot cake but their banana pudding unfortunately was just ok even though I normally love banana pudding. I do love that they give a free bundt cake for your birthday if you sign up!

I've been coming here for years since before the pandemic when they used to give out large samples that were so good if only they would bring that back. Had a bundt cake at a family event and it was so delicious. I like the large ones over the mini ones but the mini ones are good that people can grab like cupcakes. The prices aren't bad compared to other places. They also give you a free mini cake on ur birthday if you sign up for emails but make sure you choose the right location because they won't accept it at any location, I've made that mistake before!

I ordered a box of the "bundtinis" for myself and some coworkers the other day, and we were pretty happy with them. They looked nice, had a nice assortment of flavors, and were pretty tasty. A great option in the area for a special occasion dessert.

This review is in terms for their new spring seasonal flavor the lemon blueberry bunt cake. I came in and there was a line, so even though I preordered for pickup on my app I had to wait a few to be helped since there was only one person ringing up and getting orders together in the front. I always stick to my tried and true raspberry or carrot cake, but I do like them offering seasonal mix ins to give variety and a change up. The cake to icing ratio I feel like is almost perfect. I've seen there's an option on the app to pay .50 for extra icing, but in my opinion it would overpower the cake and be sickly sweet. I've never had a bunt cake flavor here that too dry and really needs extra frosting to help that. I feel like the mini bundles is the perfect size and amount for a single serving for a sweet treat.

My all-time favorite flavor is the carrot cake Bundt with their classic cream cheese frosting. These little mini bunts are perfect for birthday gifts or if you wanna treat yourself a little sweet treat. Depending on the season, I notice sometimes they have one special seasonal flavor to offer in addition to their classic flavors that never rotate out. Some of the flavors are better than others, but I've never had one that was awful. My top three are probably the white chocolate raspberry, carrot cake, and red velvet. I've noticed some are sweeter than others as well. I think that the amount of frosting on each one of these are perfect because anything more would be too much. They often have Bogo deals so I'd recommend downloading their app and joining their rewards program.

This place does not open on time. I waited for 30 mins. Called multiple times but the door was closed. The sign says OPEN and it should open at 9 am per their own front sign but it is shut. So call ahead of time and check if you are coming here otherwise it's a waste of time.

Yesterday evening was my first time at Nothing Bundt Cakes. We had a bogo bundtlet for signing up on their app. The store inside was absolutely adorable. The lady behind the counter was friendly and polite. And the cakes were really yummy. Would recommend!

On 4/10/2024 Came here for a nice little treat and got two Bundtlets ($6.5 each): one confetti and one red velvet. They are quite pricy for a single small cake, but the average price for any in the bay is ~$5. I love the frosting, wished I had more, and my confetti cake was moist. My friend said that her red velvet cake was dry but the frosting was good. The outside definitely needs some help. Tried to take a pic with the store name, but it was so bad that I chose the side wall pic. The interior was nice, and welcoming, and had lots of cute little cups to buy. I like how they have some bundt cakes in the glass fridge to showcase but... the big ones were Wrapped in plastic. Doesn't that stick to the frosting?? Anyway, definitely a pleasant dessert to treat yourself to.

Got the Oreo small bundt cake. I don't like the buttercream but the cake itself is good. Definitely not healthy they dont have any spoons or forks which is weird but they told me we dont have dine in thats the reason we dont have cutlery which makes sense but also doesnt.

This time I decided to stop by here after dinner, my first time sitting down here and ordering. The inside is very clean, modern, and Pinterest-like. They added more decorations and seating from 2 years ago, making the inside more aesthetic. whaT's More always has unique Asian flavors, like durian, earl grey, pandan, red bean, and oolong. The cakes are not too sweet, so definitely Asian parent approved haha! Unfortunately, when we came around 6:30pm, they were sold out of most flavors - so would definitely recommend coming earlier or just ordering online earlier in the morning for pickup. We got the sesame dark chocolate crepe cake. When you eat in the store, the owner provides you with free cups of tea, which are really great for washing down the cake. The chocolate was super rich, and they did not skimp out on the flavor - super chocolatey. The sesame added such a fun earthy and nutty flavor - I thoroughly enjoyed it! The cake is on the slightly denser side, so was super filling. While on the pricier side, the flavors are super unique and the craft that goes into crepe cakes is commendable. I will be ordering my next cake from here again!

The place was situated in a quiet plaza just outside of Lawrence Expressway. There's ample parking but it doesn't feel like the location is suitable for a cafe where you can picture sitting inside looking through some big windows facing a busy pedestrian walkway. However, once I stepped inside, I was surprised at how zen and peaceful the decorations were and how fitting it was for a cozy and quiet cafe hangout. The cake shelf was surprisingly busy. And this is where I took one star out because the lines were confusing and the staff skipped me to talk to the group behind me while I was clearly the next to be helped. Luckily another staff member came out from the back kitchen and jumped in to help. The staff spoke fluent mandarin. I was interested in their box cakes. A few of the yelpers raved about their soy milk cake and luckily they had one out for sampling. It was covered with lots of cream and the cake layer was soft and moist, but it was still slightly too sweet for me and I felt that it lacked the tofu kind of soy flavor. Then, I spotted on their menu that they have a black sesame matcha box cake, and black sesame is always my favorite, so I asked for it. They had the last one left! The staff said she had never tried it so she couldn't tell me if it is less sweet than the soy milk cake. Since it was the last one available and I already sampled the soy cake, I decided to give it a try. I am happy that I did. The cake was filled with matcha mousse and tasted light and aromatic with the jasmine kind of matcha flavor. It is definitely less sweet. Unfortunately, it doesn't have as much black sesame as I'd like. But overall, the cake flavor is the kind that I like, subtle, moist, and not too sweet. $38 for a box cake of 4x4 is a bit pricey, but I'm glad that I gave it a try. The cakes were freshly made and tasted best the same day of purchase. They also recommend refrigerating the cake and consuming it within a day or two.

I usually get the same item at Basquia Bakery: Korokke, a Korean style fried bread with a crispy panko exterior, filled with savory mash potatoes. For $3, it's a good deal for a snack. Some of Basquia Bakery's baked goods are not labeled so I would have totally overlooked their Korean mochi bread if it weren't for TikTok. Last fall, Korean sweet potato mochi bread (goguma ppang) went viral. For months, the commercial frozen ones were sold out at Korean markets. The supply has since been replenished (along with frozen kimbap) but if you can't commit to an entire bag like myself, then this is for you. Plus, this may be the only bakery in NorCal selling freshly made Korean mochi bread. M E N U Along with mochi bread, Basquia Bakery sells cakes (slice + whole), roll cakes, fruit tarts, cream puffs, bread, buns, k corn dogs, etc. For drinks, they have non-caffeinated lattes (e.g. black sesame and beer). M O C H I B R E A D Available in pairs ($4) or a variety box of the five flavors ($9). I went with the latter. Visited Saturday morning around 9:45 am and the had about a 50% supply left. Can we talk about how adorable these are?! The mochi bread is shaped based on their flavors. The mochi "bread" is mochi with a chewy exterior filled with a mashed filling. This is my personal preference but I like mochi that has more of an elastic, bouncy QQ chew which this didn't quite have. The texture did improve after air-frying the leftovers. Flavors: * Sweet Potato // 4 stars Looks and tastes exactly like the real deal with sweet, fluffy mashed interior but hits different with the slight gelatinous chew. Tip: Eat this with kimchi. It's adds a delicious tang and heat to contrast the natural sweetness. * Corn // 4 stars Enjoyed the creamy corn filling with kernels for texture. * Potato // 4 stars Savory, creamy mashed potatoes. I wanted to pair this with a steak. Lol. * Chestnut // 4 stars I love roasted chestnut but this has cinnamony, chocolatey notes from the dusting of cocoa powder + cinnamon. There were chunks of roasted chestnut. * Kabocha // 3 stars Again, tasted like the real deal but too sweet for me. Overall, glad I tried this cute novelty at Basquia Bakery. I'm now convinced to buy a bag of the commercial frozen ones, yanno for taste test comparison purposes. ;)

When we've brought it to social gatherings in the past, it's also always a hit. Their other desserts, like their lemon bars, french napoleon, and turtle cheesecake, are also major hits. So when it was time for my wedding, I knew I had to get my cake from them! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. They offer cake tasting boxes that include their most popular flavors. However, we had a specific taste profile in mind and asked if they could custom make the samples for us - they said yes without hesitation and didn't charge us extra! The samples were delicious and the pickup process was easy. We went with a ribbon cake (chocolate and vanilla) with fresh strawberries, whipped cream filling, and vanilla buttercream frosting. I also had a very specific vision for my wedding cake - I wanted a detailed three-tier cake with buttercream vintage flowers. We also ordered a plain sheet cake with the same flavors to ensure that we had enough slices for our guests. I worked with Fariba during the ordering process and they were great. I am truly still SHOCKED at how beautiful the cake was and how it matched the inspo photo perfectly. It was a showstopper and extremely delicious. See the photo for details! It was covered in chocolate and filled with custard, and it was just the right sweetness and not too sweet. The size was pleasing, and the custard filling was good. The cake was not enjoyable; to be fair, this might or might not be due to personal taste. It was a 3-layer vanilla cake filled with lemon mousse, covered in buttercream and white chocolate bark pieces, and topped with 10 blueberries. This flavor can be found on their website catalog. I don't know if this is typical for this bakery, but the cake was heavy, claggy on the bottom, and way too sweet. The lemon mousse tasted incredibly strange, as if it were artificial or maybe had some kind of herb or weird flavoring added. The less said about the cream, the better. The white chocolate was quite good though. I saw they had a wide variety of cake offerings, but I don't think I'd want cake from here again. I might get the choux pastry again.

The rich aroma of sesame oil blends beautifully with the warmth of ginger, while tender chicken pieces soak up all the flavorful broth, sweetened slightly by goji berries. Each spoonful warms you from the inside out on a chilly day. Pair it with smooth, delicate noodles to enjoy the full taste of home. Whether you're missing the flavors of your hometown or simply want to soothe your body and soul, a bowl of sesame oil chicken soup is always the most heartwarming choice. However, the cake was a bit dry, and the red bean in the filling was undercooked and on the hard side. I liked how light the cake was, and the whipped cream filling, and likely came on an off day. -Chocolate Roll Cake w/Pudding Filling: The chocolate cake was more moist than the matcha, and I liked the chocolate flavor, which was present but not too strong. The pudding and whipped cream filling were good, but I didn't think they quite went with the chocolate cake. All the ingredients seemed very fresh and quality, and I would come back to give their fruit desserts a try. No seating is available. Parking was easy to find since this small plaza had plenty of spots.
