What an amazing transformation! The sign says Under New Ownership so I decided to give this Paris Baguette location another chance after a long time. I had given up because of some unfriendly interactions with employees. It was also rather depressing and dull inside so I would always take my chocolate croissants to go. I never wanted to sit there. Today was so different! The entire place has been refreshed with white paint and brand new tables and chairs. In my opinion, it was extremely clean. In fact, a few employees were continuously walking around cleaning, organizing and restocking the pastry cabinet. I purchased a cream cheese pastry and a Korean iced milk coffee. For the first time, I had very pleasant interactions with several employees who were actually smiling, unlike before. I decided to sit down instead of taking to go. To my surprise I noticed there is an outdoor patio and even a small, private room which I had never seen before because I never wanted to spend more than 5 minutes in there. I can't say enough good things about this location now. It will be my go-to place for coffee with friends. read more

This establishment is full of people who clearly do not like their jobs. Customer service has not always been easy and I understand that. That's why I try to give everyone in these roles some grace. However, I'm not sure what their reasoning is for this staff's rudeness. Maybe they're all having a rough morning. Whoever the lady is holding the clipboard, clearly she appeared as management, if you're going to provide feedback to your staff about the baked goods maybe do so quietly in the background instead of yelling it out loud in front of your patrons. This appears completely unprofessional. Hamid. This name stuck out to me because he treated my husband and I as if we inconvenienced him by ordering our coffee drinks. He looked at us and demanded (not asked), "What do you need?" And when their POS system gave us an error, we politely waited to have him reset so we can pay again. He just waved his hand impatiently and told us to "try again" when clearly we had to wait for him to reset it on his end. My husband had to slowly and patiently state it to him that he had to reset it before we can try again. It went through after Hamid begrudgingly fixed the issue. Had a snack here with several of my coworkers on a Monday just before noon time. It was nice being able to use the private room for our group (not reservable in advance and the policy 2 hours max, not sure if it's enforced). But getting internet access was ridiculous, nearly impossible, even after workers confirmed the password multiple times and we informed them that none of our laptops nor phones were able to connect. Eventually, they gave us a different password for an alternate connection that worked (typically not meant for guests), but it wasn't very good, shoddy and slow. Needless to say, we didn't stay long. Besides the cute cakes with colorful and creative designs in the display case at the front counter, the selection for pastries and beverages wasn't impressive to me. Overall, I didn't find the options to be that appealing, and a number of items were out of stock. Ended up getting a pepperoni pizzetta and chocolate chip muffin, which tasted fine eaten at room temperature, but nothing about it had me wanting to return here, especially considering the terrible or nonexistent wifi causing an inconvenience if you're hoping to get work done on site. read more

Even since the change of ownership in late 2025 or 2026, the services, the atmosphere and the drink have decreased in quality. I miss the old owner who seemed to have a fun interaction with his customers and employees. I can see that the workers no longer make jokes with each other, no more laughters, no smiles. The owner looks too serious and seems to be micro managing the people. Anyhow, I gave a tips; but I didn't even receive a "thank you" for my order. This place is going downhill fast. The paint on the wall is new, and the chairs are new. But those are actually not important to most customers. I don't even get a "thank you"! I will not give any more tips next time. My smoothie is filled with visible ice which should be blended well into the drink. It's only 80% full. I paid the full price and didn't get a 20% discount!! Having come back from Korea, where Paris Baguette originated, I went to several during my trip and none were as large as this one. I will be back to this store soon. I was in the area and decided to stop by this location to pick up my complementary cake slice. This location is in a strip mall off Santa Rita next to the 580 freeway. The store cases were well stocked with products and the store was not busy. I selected a Ganache Cream Cake slice and the clerk put it in a nice handle box and scanned my app and I was on my way. We live very near this establishment. I have very frequently stopped on Saturday or Sunday mornings to pick up some plain croissants or pastries to have with our coffee. They are under new ownership. I've started to notice many changes in quality of the items enclosed in the self serve area. The croissants look over-proofed and flat, with no sheen on top, they do not look fresh. I can understand trying to sell day old items, but a trained eye can tell, it looks like they're trying to squeeze as much profit out of their inventory as possible and it shows. ( I need to mention that years ago, I worked for Patisserie Lafayette, owned by a very respected Chef, Lynn Appleton) I am very very familiar with this type culinary offering. The entire cafe needs a good cleaning. Counters, wipe down registers, tongs, dispensers, glass surfaces, front doors are full of finger prints, the beverage areas. The trash near the doorway smells like sour milk, they need to open and wipe it ALL down, at least 3 times a week. Wipe the actual container too, don't just empty the bag. Clean the chairs, underneath the chairs and the base of all tables. Sweep the front of the cafe and vacuum the carpet out side. Better yet, replace it. That cement at the entrance needs a power wash, maybe the landlord could take care of that. The staff/employees are very friendly, but they need to know that patrons watch the way they handle food/beverage items. They handle cash and paperwork. I saw a counter person place milk cartons on the FLOOR. Then put them back into the fridge. Towels used behind the counter look dirty and stained. Please instruct your staff to use a fresh clean towel if theirs looks soiled. I really want to keep giving this store my business. This post is meant to help, truly. After payment, I politely asked for a simple "Happy Birthday" message, but was rudely told the cake department was closed. Trays are to the left. But first sanitize your hands. Then grab wax paper, place it onto your tray grab the tray and a set of tongs. Browse the pasties and pick what you want by using tongs and placing it onto your tray. I go for the ham and cheese croissant and the bacon and cheese pastry. Grab a hot or iced beverage. I wanted to try the Dubai hot chocolate but they were out of it. Shocker! So I got a matcha latte and it came out PIPING HOT, which I prefer as it allows it time to cool to my preferred temperature rather than being served like warm. I've been to the Dublin location and was surprised to see in my town. There's spacious seating and an assortment of pastries: smoked sausage bread, vegan elderberry muffins, decadent chocolate brownies, pepperoni pizzetta, a variety of cake slices, NY style cheesecake, sandwiches, and cookies. We have been visiting this location for a couple of years every six weeks or so. I appreciate the beauty of their pastries. This blueberry chiffon tasted like a blueberry muffin. First impression walking in was marvelous, like if I had just stepped into a little piece of Heaven. The options are to grab a tray and you can walk down a small variety of fresh baked pastries, and breads, then if you are done you can go up to the register and pay, or you can get in line for choices behind the counter, like sandwiches, whole cakes, sliced cakes and different handmade crafted drinks. I purchased two baguettes and one slice of the strawberry cream soft cake. There was only one baguette available so I grabbed it and once I had went to pay, I asked the young man if they had any more baguettes which he said it would be a 12 minute wait.. I had no problem with that. He went back into the back and when he came out, he said that he put it in the oven, not even five minutes later our baguette came out so warm and soft. My daughter and I could not resist having a piece right then and there... never would I not want butter, but this baguette is so fresh, so delicious no butter is needed. Service was great. I agreed with some of the yelpers that this branch tends to give or deliver the wrong order. This has already happened to me twice. Since I don't live in the vicinity and it's the only branch that will do delivery to my in-laws, I still order from them and hope they don't make mistakes. First wrong order happened over 4th of July of 2024. I was in the area and I had a 4th of July party to attend so I ordered a 4th of July themed cake. I was in a hurry hence I didn't check my order until I was about to head to the party. I called as soon as I realized it. The rep that answered my call told me they would give me another cake to make up for the cost as 4th of July cake since it was a specialty cake. However when I got there, all they did was give me a cake topper tag that says "Happy 4th of July". I was like "are you seriously kidding?". I paid for a specialty cake and not a specialty cake topper. They refused to honor it until I pulled out an online receipt that specifically showed a 4th of July themed cake. Then, the guy went into the back and brought out the right cake. This made me feel like they are dishonest about it. It made me feel that so they had the cake all along and just wanted to cheat out on me. If I hadn't kept a screenshot of the online receipt, I would have been screwed. Second wrong order happened recently before the Superbowl. It was my mother-in-law's 84th birthday and we couldn't celebrate with her so I sent a cake. I specifically ordered a cappuccino cake (mini) but instead it was a chocolate cake that got delivered. My in-laws took a picture and texted me and that's when I realized it was the wrong cake. Granted the dollar amount was equivalent but it's still dishonest about how the business operated. I feel it was intentional and it can't be coincidental that it happened twice, especially other yelpers have reported this as well. I tried this place twice and both bad experience. Tonight came in at 8:10pm and chairs were flipped on the tables while some other tables are being used. We asked and said can we still enjoy a coffee and cake and sit down? Lady said no problem put the chairs down. While deciding what to order the guy flips the chairs back on top of the table and as I was ordering I said can we get 2 lattes and lady said no it's too late to make latte's but the door says they close at 9pm. read more

I placed an order for online pickup for 8am. It included a coffee traveler along with about $100 in pastries. I arrived at 8:20 and was told by the manager it's still getting ready. While I was waiting for the coffee I checked the pastries to make sure everything was there. I noticed that 3 of the egg and cheese bread rolls were missing. I had let a younger gentleman know and he very rudely yelled at me that they are being warmed. After I received the coffee and rest of my pastries, I noticed I didn't have the milk I ordered with the coffee. The manager then proceeds to pour the two milk options i ordered (oat and half and half) in coffee cups, then covered the lid with scotch tape to "seal" it. When I asked which cup was which milk, he told me "you can tell by the color of the milk." I was appalled by this response. They also had no bags to carry the multiple items. Note when I went to Dublin PB for a similar order, I received the mills in sealed bottles with labels. Walked out the door by 8:30am. Overall a very horrible experience. Pick up order 30 minutes late. Extremely rude staff from the manager to the staff. Would highly recommend trying out other Paris Baguettes before going to this one. read more

The young man at the counter (Hispanic, grey hoodie, short haircut and braces) stood picking his nose idly for about 30 seconds... and approached the cash register I said "I'd like grab a tart..." and he grabbed a plastic container and then walked over to the glass enclosed case to retrieve... I stated, ""...however you have to wash your hands...." He looked at me, with a sideward glance, aloof query... I said you just picked your nose... he grabs a glove... I said no no no you need to wash your hands and he asked if I wanted the tart or not? And I walked over to the two staffers - they were polite .. enough... (whereby you try not to empathize with the customer too much to go against your co worker). In past purchases they've been very polite and helpful. At best, as there were other customers he began to ring up... as I spoke with more effort - more loudly to the two staffers he went over to the sink and began washing his hands. He came back and picked up the same glove. I said stop that glove is dirty and he put the glove onto the counter and left it there ... and grabbed two clean gloves. I went to my vehicle parked directly in front and as they all spoke - I watched as he pointed to the vehicle laughing ...(I'm not sure how disgusting unsanitary food handling practices could be ...a shared joke, humorous?!!! ... the manager came out and I went back in. I informed the manager and she was profusely apologetic... offered me a free tart to which I declined. I want safe and clean food handling practices in place for myself and other customers. He already helped several customers. He stood next to the manager and laughed. I pointed out this behavior to the manager - his flagrant oppositional and resistant behavior and pointed to the glove that STILL remained on the counter w dried out pieces of nasal mucus - on the counter there after helping several customers. @2:30pm on 2/28/25 Yelp review. Poor review. Department of health complaint. Completed the document and a separate email. And an email to PBG headquarters. Sigh! Honestly I'd probably would've left and no f/u had he not been so oppositional to washing his hands and the collective chiding and laughter made it appear that this is a perfectly normal thing here...
