The pastries were beautiful and very good and. the display case was also impressive. Coffee was good for 2/3 of us. The staff could use some feedback in the customer service department. A simple smile and a thank you goes a long way! We asked for extra utensils and it felt as though we were being a nuisance. Unfortunately the rating was based on that and the coffee.

Overall I think Paris Baguette is a fine chain in the Bay Area. I appreciate the variety of French pastries, cakes, Asian baked goods, and seasonal items. However, this Cupertino store is a disappointment. It may be that they are always busy that they aren't watching the pastry shelves/bins or caring for the consistency of the pastry items, but I saw flies inside the covered bins at my most recent visit. And I've been watching the mochi donuts get smaller and smaller by the way of the "hole" getting larger. See photos. Meanwhile, the price is also significantly higher than any other bakery I know that sells mochi donuts (e.g., each donut usually runs $3-3.50, but here it was $4.49). I needed to buy desserts to bring to a dinner, but after seeing flies trapped inside the pastry bins, I lost my appetite for buying anything here. It is so unfortunate because I think this Paris Baguette store has a prime downtown location and so much potential. I hope they'll literally and figuratively clean up their act, so they can stick around for the long haul.

Good location! This Paris Baguette is one of the nicest ones I seen. Very clean, and everything is nicely displayed. Lots of options from savory to sweet. Everything looks nice and fresh. I was happy with the variety I picked the mini strawberry cream croissants are delicious! The almond croissant was a little bit dry and could use more almond filling but overall I really enjoyed these pastries. Service was good, cashier was nice and friendly.

The lemon croissant donut is out of this world. Literally so fresh and bright with the perfect texture. This is at the top of my fav pastries now. 1000% worth the trip

Food Quality: ** (Hit or Miss) Service: * (Non-existent) Ambiance: *** (Typical Cafe) Value: * (Overpriced) My experience at Paris Baguette was incredibly disappointing, primarily due to the appalling service. I purchased a pastry that was advertised with chocolate, but it was completely devoid of it. When I politely approached the cashier to inquire about this discrepancy, she not only gave me a blank, uncaring stare, but also attempted to charge me again, despite having paid her just three minutes prior! There was absolutely no attempt to address or acknowledge my question despite the cafe being nearly empty. The coffee was average at best, and the pastries themselves are hit or miss. Some are decent, but many are overpriced and a bit dry. The complete lack of customer service ruined any potential enjoyment of the food. When I travel to London I go to the one in Kensington and the experience is a complete 180... I will not be returning here.

The interior of the business is exceptional! The entire layout is welcoming and very clean! Everything is very organized and appealing. We purchased two drinks from here an iced matcha vanilla late and a strawberry smoothie! I would definitely say they were both really good, however, the pricing is high for what you're getting. The service was okay, nothing too special to mention though they did greet us at the start.

Nice employees with a good atmosphere! I got one of the strawberry cakes and it was creamy and delicious, even three days after. The prices on the cake board are a bit lower at checkout, which was also nice too. However, $7 for a slice of cake is still quite pricey. Great selection!

It's a lovely Paris Baguette cafe & bakery on Castro Street in downtown Mountain View. Not huge, but decent size location with tables and chairs inside. I've been visiting for many years since their opening. Staffs are always experienced and welcoming. Holiday vibes are colorful, warm & cozy inside. My medium sized hot peppermint mocha was very fulfilling. I love holiday sweets and holiday app deals. Don't forget to download and use the app for ongoing special offers and discounts. As usual, I really do enjoy their soufflé cheesecake, especially because gingerbread man looks too cute on it. Add a snowman pastry to it and you've got all your Paris Baguette holiday tastebud fixes for the day. This place never disappoints, but because of the narrow aisle by the pastries/breads/goodies, the crowds and lines do get tight here during peak hours. Customers do work or study inside with groups at times. Locals are mature professionals and working class folks. This location feels different than most other locations, but business as usual. Everything still looks good and tastes great here.

Love Love Love Paris Baguette! I have tried their breakfast buns before but today got a Tiramisu Cake for someone's birthday. This is easily a crowd favorite. What's more impressive is it came with a plastic cake knife and thoughtfully designed with a small compartment for 2 matchsticks with an igniter strip! This is so smart.

I love desserts and the French are number one in that category. I came from Yutori after buying so much that I squeezed in Madison's dessert, Padova Mandarin Yuzu. The clerk said it needs to refrigerate promptly or else eat right away. I had no choice but to stop by the library's park and eat that along with my tuna egg sando from Yutori. The Yuzu dessert was cool and refreshing. It's good to pair with tea. I'll have to come back and try more desserts. They all look so good to try.

Some of them don't even go to any other bakery besides this one and as such, I was excited to try their pastries. I got a combination of both basic items such as their croissant and their more decorative items such as their Paris Brest. The fundamental difference between American pastries and their French counterparts is that the latter are much less heavy and sweet and in that sense, Maison Alyzee does a good job. However, that quality really isn't that important to me unless I'm making baked goods at home or having them at a friend's. When it comes to a bakery, I care more about nuanced flavors, tastes, and textures and in those aspects, this place didn't really blow me away. To put it this way, I would rather travel to Midwife and the Baker and have one of their croissants at a cheaper price even if it may be more of a sugar bomb. I was actually contemplating knocking off another star because of how much the pastries cost an arm and a leg (almost $10+ for some of the individual items). In the end, I decided against it because this bakery is the first I've visited where the pastries both look nice AND taste good (Paris Baguette and Alexander's Patisserie, take note). Overall, this place is good if you are looking for pastries that both look and taste nice. Perhaps my palate is just not sophisticated enough but I just don't get any unique taste that warrants them being the most authentic French patisserie in the area. Personally, I would visit Midwife, Craftsman, and (soon) Arsicault in Palo Alto to get a more "quality' pastry.

The place was situated in a quiet plaza just outside of Lawrence Expressway. There's ample parking but it doesn't feel like the location is suitable for a cafe where you can picture sitting inside looking through some big windows facing a busy pedestrian walkway. However, once I stepped inside, I was surprised at how zen and peaceful the decorations were and how fitting it was for a cozy and quiet cafe hangout. The cake shelf was surprisingly busy. And this is where I took one star out because the lines were confusing and the staff skipped me to talk to the group behind me while I was clearly the next to be helped. Luckily another staff member came out from the back kitchen and jumped in to help. The staff spoke fluent mandarin. I was interested in their box cakes. A few of the yelpers raved about their soy milk cake and luckily they had one out for sampling. It was covered with lots of cream and the cake layer was soft and moist, but it was still slightly too sweet for me and I felt that it lacked the tofu kind of soy flavor. Then, I spotted on their menu that they have a black sesame matcha box cake, and black sesame is always my favorite, so I asked for it. They had the last one left! The staff said she had never tried it so she couldn't tell me if it is less sweet than the soy milk cake. Since it was the last one available and I already sampled the soy cake, I decided to give it a try. I am happy that I did. The cake was filled with matcha mousse and tasted light and aromatic with the jasmine kind of matcha flavor. It is definitely less sweet. Unfortunately, it doesn't have as much black sesame as I'd like. But overall, the cake flavor is the kind that I like, subtle, moist, and not too sweet. $38 for a box cake of 4x4 is a bit pricey, but I'm glad that I gave it a try. The cakes were freshly made and tasted best the same day of purchase. They also recommend refrigerating the cake and consuming it within a day or two.

I kept seeing posts about whaT's More cake's persimmon cakes, so I decided to give them a try. I preordered the persimmon molten cake and the persimmon crepe cake through their website. The online ordering process was smooth, and both cakes were ready right on time for pickup. Unfortunately, the persimmon molten cake was disappointing. While I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet, it was very mild in flavor. It tasted more like a simple sponge cake with a persimmon filling in the center, and overall, it felt quite underwhelming. In contrast, the persimmon crepe cake was much better. Each layer had persimmon cream and jam, which gave it a stronger and more pronounced persimmon flavor without being overly sweet. Overall, it's a cute cake shop worth checking out if you're looking for unique flavors in the South Bay. Parking: Plenty of parking available in the lot.
