There are many Yogurtland locations in the area, but this one in Mountain View definitely stood out to me. Even though it was a bit busy when we stopped by, the staff felt more attentive and involved than what I usually experience at self-serve frozen yogurt spots. At most Yogurtland locations, the team usually just stands nearby while you serve yourself, which totally makes sense since the concept is self-serve. But here, they actually checked in with us and asked if we wanted sample cups when they noticed us standing around deciding on flavors, which I thought was a really thoughtful touch! I also loved their recent anniversary BOGO promotion they had a while back. It was such a fun excuse to come by and try more flavors. Their Super Tart is still one of my absolute favorites. It's the perfect balance of tangy and refreshing. One thing I've always appreciated about Yogurtland is how they rotate different flavors throughout the seasons, so there's always something new or nostalgic to look forward to. Yogurtland in general is super nostalgic for me. The combination of friendly staff, convenient location, and that classic Yogurtland nostalgia makes this location one I'll definitely keep coming back to! read more

Food: We're tart yogurt people through and through, and the classic tart here hits the spot every time! Tangy, and exactly what you'd hope for. The fruit toppings tasted fresh rather than sitting out too long, and the overall topping bar felt well-stocked and well-maintained. Nothing felt like an afterthought. Ambiance: The interior is clean and bright, with a relaxed, casual vibe that works well for a quick solo stop or a laid-back outing with friends. It's the kind of place that feels light and easy, you grab your cup, build your creation, and enjoy without any fuss. The atmosphere is simple but pleasant, and the space felt well taken care of during our visit. Service: The staff here were genuinely sweet and made the visit even better. We had a few questions and they were happy to help without any hesitation. It's the kind of friendly, low-pressure service that fits the vibe of the place perfectly, welcoming without being overbearing. read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon with my partner. We tried 4 different flavors. We got the chocolate raspberry truffle, coconut, cookies and cream, and vanilla. My favorite is their coconut one, so refreshing!!! We also got to choose some toppings. Got some cherries, coconut shavings, strawberries, and popping boba. Overall, we had a fun time here! read more

Yogurtland is always a solid choice! What really stands out is the huge variety of toppings -- from fresh fruit to candies and crunchy options, there's something for everyone. You can customize it exactly how you want, which I love. The store was also super clean and well-maintained, which honestly makes a big difference for self-serve places. Everything was neatly stocked and the staff did a great job keeping the area tidy. Perfect spot for a quick dessert or a sweet treat after a meal read more

Good evening snack! We always go with the original flavor as toppings will add additional sweetness and taste, but their passion fruit/dragon fruit and coconut flavors are also very good! read more

Stopped by on a quiet Thursday afternoon around 4 PM -- spotless inside and super well-maintained (always a good sign!). I went with the cheesecake and red velvet flavors. The cheesecake was smooth, creamy, and perfectly tangy -- definitely my favorite of the two. The red velvet was more subtle than I expected, but it added a nice depth when mixed together. Great flavor balance overall, especially with all the fun topping options. Prices lean a bit high for self-serve froyo, but the quality, freshness, and clean atmosphere make it worth the occasional indulgence. read more

Disappointing to say the least. There were no kid sized containers and we weren't allowed to sample anything! The one person working was mostly in the back and apparently couldn't be bothered. They seemed annoyed whenever we needed anything. Yogurt came out halfway melted and we sat outside where it smelled like rotting garbage. read more

The pink Christmas tree in front is so adorable! How can you not like Christmas time, just the best time to gather with friends. This is an easy spot to meet up With friends. Everyone get a table, fill up and pay for your own froyos topped with all your fixings, and hangout, eat, chat, have a good time. Especially fun for kids who like to come up with (and be very proud of!) their own creations It's so fun to try new flavors that change often. There are seasonal flavors like matcha and guava. Try it before it's gone and will be replaced with new ones. I'm surprised but the Most popular flavor is the plain tart! Did you know?!Which is pretty good. Just a little tart and has a light, pleasant yogurt taste. I didn't expect that so I tried it and I can see what people mean. I also like strawberry, fruity and sweet but not overly sweet. -Pay per oz weighed. The weight of the cup is deducted so NO WORRIES about what size cup you get! Haha I used to wonder about that thinking you'll pay more if you choose the larger size cup--until the staff member clarified so I'm sharing that with you! The cups are so big you can fill as much or as little. I like that there's something for you even if you don't feel like eating too much but still came to hang out with your friends. No one is left out. -Help yourself to Toppings such as: Cap'n Crunch, crushed Oreos, tiny mochi balls, gummy bears, peachio rings, chocolate chips, cookies, yogurtland themed color sprinkles pink, light green, white combo all mixed together that all their stores have (did you know that's a thing?! It's the company color combo! Random trivia). -Catering available: They pack it up carefully for you in large containers for you to set up at your party to serve or let your guests help themselves. Toppings too. -You can buy gift cards for gifting to people to give them a sweet treat. Ask cashier. -online ordering available through food apps. You can get froyo delivered to your door. Just consider special holiday limited hours with any business when you order stuff read more

I came to use my $5 Birthday Rewards to get a little treat for myself this past Monday. The cashier asked me if I wanted to use my rewards, and I said yes. She then wished me a Happy Birthday. However, she then accidentally charged me for the full amount. I explained this to her after I saw what I was charged for afterwards, and she agreed that she made a mistake but could not give me back credit because her manager was not there. She took my name and phone number and said they would get back to me. I just called back 2 days later since I hadn't heard anything. The person answering told me that the manager wasn't there, and I asked if they could call me back after explaining the situation again of what happened. They then just proceeded to just hang up on me without another word. It's a bit disappointing that this happened. I don't usually go to this Yogurtland location, and now I won't ever be going back. Edit: Hi Mel. Thanks for your response. I sent an email shortly after I got your reply to the email address you provided. I wanted to update that it has been 2 days since and I have not heard anything back. Edit2: I did finally hear back from the customer service email, and they ended up helping refund the incorrectly charged $5 as $5 in my Rewards account in the app. Thanks. read more

This location is in a very busy shopping center with restaurants like Panda Express, Pizza my heart, Starbucks and a drugstore. This is located on the corner of El Monte and El Camino. I don't usually crave frozen yogurt bc as a kid it tasted like plastic or too tart. I'm assuming the formula has changed and it's a lot more appealing. One thing I like about frozen yogurt is the flavors are mostly fruit like, seasonal or standard traditions. The cool thing about frozen yogurt is one can customize it because you're the one controlling the handle For the soft serve to fold into your cup and one can add as much or as you'd like. Plus at the very end, you can add your own customize toppings. My go to is usually lychee strips because it's not something I see often, as well as popping Boba and maybe for the crunch I will add cookie crumbs or a crunch orbrittle if available. The possibilities are endless. But for warning, it's not inexpensive. But that is like the last thing I'm thinking of as I'm excited to add the different flavors of yogurt into my cup. I think I have never left below $15. is that the average price or am I overdoing it? One good tip is you can get samples before figuring out what flavors you want so you'll have to walk to the cashier first and ask for the sample cup and then return back to the row of soft serve yogurts. I didn't count, but I think there's probably a dozen different flavors. Anyway, if I crave a cold creamy treat, I'm likely going to bypass cold stone creameryand Baskin-Robbins. Can someone tell me that frozen yogurt is healthier, please? (it makes me feel less guilty it :) read more

As of August 2024, this Yogurtland location has been renovated and we were told it's also under new management. The space was nice and clean with new branded decor. During our visit on Friday night, the only thing colder than the yogurt was the lack of a warm welcome . What we got was stone cold straight face and a request for a tip. We walked in and did not receive a welcome , smile , smoke signal or any sign of normal human interaction. We had never been there before and we figured out you grab a cup and just go to town . I was looking for prices but didn't see any and the person behind the counter seemed busy ignoring us so we just filled our cup and added some toppings and went to pay. We were asked if we just had one and that was the extent of our conversation. One cup - two people and one spoon , I was given an extra when asked . Price was about $10.00, I don't normally eat yogurt so I can't say if this is average , but it didn't break the bank so I'm sure it's normal . This is the part where my brain got activated . As I paid , the. Screen asked me for a tip . I wasn't sure how much to tip someone who didn't acknowledge or do anything other than use the screen on the computer and handed us a spoon , well also an extra one for two people when asked . All the thoughts of the lack of service ran through my head and I had a great laugh and they received zero tip. We sat down and there are like 4 tables or so in the place and they were all dirty. Wiped what we could and ate our yogurt. had a mango , strawberry, and something else mixed with lots of random toppings . Felt very 90's saved by the bell . It indeed did taste like flavored yogurt and the store bought like toppings- while not original by design , were as good I knew they would be . We finished our yogurt, walked out and while the cashier person stared at us. , we held out hope for salvation and we were pushing for her to say something , anything . And as that door closed behind us - silence . Two words would have prevented this review , just two words . "Thank You" So to you . I say Thank You . Thank You for reminding me that as a consumer I have a choice where I spend my money and I won't be spending my money in the future at Yogurtland.. read more

My teen kids that support themselves bought 40$ of yogurt. Tried it in car. Got to house crying to me about spoiled taste. I sent them right back. This is "Yogurtland" in the El Monte Shopping Center in Mountain View, CA. My friend and I had just finished dinner in Los Altos, and she suggested a quick dessert here. I was familiar with the area because Local Kitchens @ Mountain View is right next door. We walked in at about 7pm, and the place was empty. We surveyed the flavors, and my friend asked for sample cups. The clerk said they ran out, and offered us spoons instead. I served myself chocolate and strawberry/banana, no toppings. I'm not an expert on frozen desserts. I just know my dentist suggested it to sooth my mouth. The chocolate was creamy, but not too sweet. I tasted a very slight bitterness. The strawberry/banana was delicious, but was more like a sorbet than frozen yogurt. Okay, it's not a failure if frozen yogurt is like a icy sorbet. I believe it has to do with sugar content. Also, it has to do with how popular that flavor is, and how frozen the mix is. Customer service was very good. My friend asked the clerk to store her cup in the freezer while she waited on me. I didn't know they provided that service. I'm an old school fast food mgr, for me everything is "grab and go." Negs: The green/white decor with silver seating is a bit dreary. Perhaps some lively colors like yellow and orange would spark excitement to the shop. Also, there's limited outside lighting, so you eat your fro-yo in the dark. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot. Located at El Camino Real and El Monte Ave. read more

I remember when this name place used to be 30c an oz. Yes that was years ago. But now they want 85c an oz? Triple the cost? The service or quality has not improved. Worst yogurt land experience of my life. Went to this location for the first time in awhile and was excited to try new flavors. My gf and I split a yogurt with many flavors and toppings. The total was over 15$, which was fine we knew we had indulged. When we checked out we asked for two yogurt land spoons to share. We were surprised when the clerk said only one yogurt land spoon per order.
