I am a fan! The ingredients are unique and NOT out of a 5lbs plastic bag. The crust is on the thinner side which I love and their pizza is never greasy.Though they are local, I have yet to visit the spot, as I've only ordered delivery which can be a little tricky: 1) Delivery only after 3pm. 2) You can only order delivery online through eat24. The one issue I came across with their online ordering is special instructions you annotate in the space given, seem to go unnoticed (i.e. I requested an ingredient on only half the pizza, but it came on the whole thing). In terms of service - I have only dealt with them over the phone, asking various questions about their coupons, online ordering, etc... and they have been great! With the exception of a matured woman I got on the phone once. Horrible phone presence. Had that been my first experience with them I would have ordered elsewhere, without hesitation. Pizza Roma is the kind of place you want to succeed. It's a family owned pizza place that I think really tries to give good value. First, the pizza is above average. Toppings are generous and the crust is good. This is not gourmet pizza but it is quite good. They have about a dozen or so pizza combos which are pretty standard fare. What I really like is that they have a mini pizza which is still enough pizza for my 4 and 6 year old together. This makes it easy to order the mini for the boys and a medium for the adults. That's a BIG plus for families on a tight budget. Pizza Roma also has other food, e.g. burgers, bbq wings, sandwhiches, etc., but I haven't tried those. If food were the only reviiew item Pizza Roma would get 4 stars. Now to the not so great part. Pizza Roma is stuck in 1985. The decor looks like it hasn't been updated in 20 years and even then it was terrible. If you look around it appears that they've just given up on making the dining experience pleasant. My guess is they rely more on take out/delivery than walk-in dining. Regardless, they really need to give the interior a face lift. My suggestion would be for them to embrace the family dining concept and make the place a fun place for folks with young kids. That's a huge market that doesn't require a lot of high end touches. In summary, I like the food, I don't like the interior. Go there once to meet the staff (very nice) and then order delivery. read more

I am a pizza fanatic and love to try new pizza places. My husband and I decided to go out for pizza and beer on St Patrick's day and came here. The moment we walked in we were happily greeted. We had trouble deciding what to order since their pizza selections all sounded so good. We went with 1/2 sausage pepperoni and mushroom and the other half was the Espicy- red sauce, onion, jalapeños and chorizo. I got my favorite Orange Fanta from their fridge that is stocked up with Mexican bottled soda. My husband had a beer from their huge selection of draft and bottled beer. We had the onion rings and wings while we waited for our pizza. Both very good. They have a table with different hot sauces and condiments to choose from before getting seated. Also complementary distilled water is provided. The pizza was delicious. The sausage and chorizo is home made. Both amazing. The restaurant is very clean and sterile. It is a family owned business. Father and son are the cooks while the mother and younger son attend customers and keep up with the cleanness of the restaurant. As new owners and starting a new business I wish them the best of luck. We will definitely be back. read more

Went to this place tonight. I ordered a medium combination on Yelp for pick-up. The lady at the counter was very polite, place looked clean & had plenty of televisions (where I got to see one of my teams being manhandled by the Sun Devils. Friggin UCLA....) Findings: $17-something (Pizza was lighting fast, so I gave the counter lady a buck) -This pizza was made by someone making an effort to produce a good product. -smelled amazing -looked beautiful -crust was NY Style, nice and substantial around the edge, airy, not too chewy & tasty. My dog actually ate the crust, which she almost never does.... -meat toppings were not greasy & not so plentiful as to fall off the slice & tasted fresh. -veggie toppings were fresh and crisp. Olives could be a bit saltier, though that is my personal preference. -Sauce was light, as in I would order extra sauce next time. I didn't have any problems with the sauce, though they didn't put enough for me to give you a fair assessment. -Pizza was still nice & hot, when I arrived home. -Cheese was a bit on the lighter side, though I mention/notice that in retrospect. The cheese seemed to be a nice mixture and "cheesy". Nice! Overall, I give this pie a 7 out of 10. The pizza is similar in taste to Round Table, with far better crust and a bit more of a rustic flavor. A skosh (sorry bout the spelling, not Jewish, I'm Catholic, crucify me. I am an East Coast thin kind of Pizza LUVER. But I am also an avid fan Giordanno's Chicago Deep Dish. This is an okay alternative to not being able to have either! It came fast to the door via delivery and it was semi hot. It wasn't warm or cold but delivery pizza temp. Pizza is ok. I'm there with my three year old and They are shooting heroin on TV (CNN) and she gives me sass for interrupting her and the line to ask urgently to change the channel. First she is absolutely not hearing or understanding me I guess, then she's pissy because I'm am getting agitated, having to repeat myself louder so she can hear. The correct response would be at worst, silent compliance with my request as soon as it is understood. The best response would be--OMG that's horrible, and fumble over yourself to change the channel before doing any other thing. I try to give people benefit of the doubt: I wasn't heard perhaps, or "can you please change the channel--they are doing drugs" wasn't understood. Clearly, my urgency was not shared. read more

I have supported this business for several years because both it's where our baseball team normally goes. Earlier in the week, I spoke with Sergio about our baseball's team end of year celebration. He stated our team could come in early, 12pm on Saturday to celebrate, no reservation needed, just call the night before. When I called the night before, I spoke with the owner who said she would not open early as Sergio promised and she had another large party at 1pm and my team would have to come later.
