Huge cinnamon roll for breakfast? YES. It wasn't on my to-do-list here but we ran into some people at our hotel that were absolutely raving about it. There's no way a cinnamon roll could genuinely make people feel this way... then our family had it. It's true to the hype! So while many people said to get in the long queue early in the morning, we got in at around 9:50 AM. The line was out of the door probably 20 deep. We were in line for a total of about 20 minutes. At this time the only thing they've got left are the King David Cinnamon Rolls. We got two and were blown away by them! They're crisp on the outside but soft and warm on the inside. The cream cheese glaze is the perfect ratio of sweet and savory, the cinnamon is just right! We've had super expensive meals and had many of the island's must-have meals... this is the new must-have for my family. Absolutely memorable! Seating is very limited, I counted 8 seats. So if you want to enjoy it, you gotta hope that no one's using the seating or it's a great to-go option. The service here is so good! It felt so warm and inviting. My husband is a certified cinnamon roll fanatic and he highly approved these bad boys. Definitely the best cinnamon rolls I've ever tasted!! The cinnamon roll to glaze frosting was perfection. We also tried the spam jalapeño croissant and we couldn't decide which item was better. There are tables outside to sit at but everyone was taking them to go which is what we did too. They had a local artist inside playing a guitar which was nice to have something to listen to while we waited. We arrived at 655am and had food in hand at 8am. I've never hopped on Yelp faster in order to leave a review. Let me tell you, THIS PLACE IS SO WORTH THE WAIT! I lined up at 6:15 (already a few ahead of me) and waited until they opened at 7 (by then there were 100+ people behind me). Get there early!! Once they opened, the line moved quickly and all of the staff were so friendly. I brought my order back to my hotel and was in heaven after the first bite. This place hands down has the absolute best cinnamon roll I have ever had! How have I not known about this place before? Incredibly fresh, made with love and passion. Second visit. This place is a business that goes beyond just the hype of a food item (the cinnamon rolls, which ARE good!). From 3:30 - 630 they make pizza, but for donation only. If you can afford the suggested donation, drop cash or venmo. If you're a needy family, you can give your family dinner for cheap. If you can afford more, drop extra cash and make sure the needy crowd can get a hot meal. Bottom line: You have to want to experience Papi's Ohana, but the uniqueness of the pastries and the genuineness of the owners makes it a must-do experience while on Maui! The pastries are unique and VERY LARGE! They package four cinnamon rolls in a large pizza box! The scones would feed 3-4 people each. We tried one of the cinnamon rolls, a Tropical scone (pineapple & coconut) and an Aloha scone (mango & coconut). Everything was excellent. I also heard the person in front of me compliment the owner on the delicious milk chocolate in the chocolate croissant. So, you can't go wrong - try one of each! Here's the challenge: you will wait for this goodness. I arrived about 6:45 on a Thursday to be there when they opened at 7:00 AM. I still waited another 1:15 in line to get my pastries. However, the line behind me had become even longer. My recommendation: get there at 6:30 for a 7 AM open; I think this will result in the shortest overall wait time. THE best, fluffiest, melt-in-your-mouth, orgazmic Cinnamon Roll EVER!!! Love the croissant-like consistency of the dough. So light. Looks HUGE, but it isn't dense so I personally feel you can have a WHOLE one to yourself and you won't be sickly full! You'll surprisingly be tempted to have some more actually. Haha It honestly is THAT good! The glaze has this perfect ratio of sweetness and I think has a hint of cream cheese in it. Each bite is heavenly and you just can't have enough. Do you want the best cinnamon roll you'll ever have in your life? You better get in line. I'm not even kidding, eating the cinnamon roll from here was the highlight of my vacation. I also got a ham and Swiss croissant and it was DELICIOUS! Be patient and prepared to wait in line, it's SO worth it. I got in line at about 7AM and got my food by 8:30AM. Skeptical to be paying $10usd for a cinnamon roll. However, first bite was flavor bomb! Crispy but soft. Amd the glaze is not overly sweet with taste of coconut. Got this in the afternoon, imagine how it would be in the morning! Wanted to try more of the other baked goods theyre selling but we came in the afternoon and everything was sold out. We tried coming multiple times and the line was too long for us to wait before our excursions or after. We made an effort to came our last day after we checked out around 11 AM and they were completely sold out. The girl who was picking up outside let us know they were sold out and asked if we could come another day and we said today was our last day, she told us to wait one moment inside.
