My husband, son and I absolutely love dining at this family owned restaurant! Even though we live in Corona, we make it a point to visit whenever we can. The staff is always warm and attentive, and the food is consistently delicious. On our most recent visit without our son. Sally, one of the waitresses, recognized us from our visit two months earlier. We had only met her once, yet she remembered us! That kind of personal touch says a lot about their service. I usually order the chicken shawarma plate, my husband goes for the lamb shank, and our 3-year-old son loves the lentil soup (we all do, honestly). The portions are generous, and everything tastes so fresh and flavorful. If you stop by, definitely ask for Sally she's friendly, attentive, and knows the menu inside and out. Absolutely fabulous--best Father's Day delivery ever! This year, it was just too hot and humid to fire up the grill (or maybe we are just getting older and wiser). So we decided to order in--and let me tell you, Papa Feta delivered in every sense of the word. After scrolling through a few food delivery options, I stumbled across Papa Feta on Yelp. The photos and reviews caught my eye, so I decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did. We ordered Tray #2 (4-5 people, $89.00), which came with: 3 skewers of shish kebab 3 skewers of chicken souvlaki Chicken cream chop Beef shawarma Chicken shawarma Served over rice with grilled vegetables, fresh tandoor bread, sauces, and pickles We also added orders of pita chips, olives and feta, and extra tandoor bread. From this tray, we got three full meals for two people--generous portions all around. I placed the order two days in advance through DoorDash, scheduling delivery between 2:45 and 3:15 p.m. It arrived at 2:54 p.m., piping hot and smelling incredible. The presentation was impressive: a bed of fluffy rice layered with grilled meats and vegetables arranged in sections. The veggies--onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, and citrus slices--were perfectly charred but not overdone. Everything was well-seasoned, tender, and bursting with flavor. The tandoor bread was good, though not quite what I expected--it had more chew than pita, which I personally prefer (probably just a matter of habit). The pita chips were made from the same bread, so those also landed at a solid 4 out of 5 for me. Still tasty, just not my favorite texture. Everything else? An easy 5 out of 5. No notes. Papa Feta made our Father's Day feel festive without breaking a sweat. We will absolutely order again--next time, maybe even when the weather is nice. Be aware you are going to be waiting and getting bad service. The first time we came to this restaurant, we waited for just about everything, even the check. Our waiter never checked on us, and we had to flag down a bus boy to get missing silverware and water refilled. We decided to give it another chance because the food was not bad. However, after standing around and waiting for 15 minutes and being ignored, we just walked out. As we were leaving, two ladies who were sitting at a table also got up and left, apparently also had enough of being ignored. This restaurant needs to seriously consider hiring more help and training the staff better. Will not be back. read more

The food is amazing!! I don't always like falafel because it's often dry and bland but the falafel at papa feta is very flavorful. The grape leaves are my absolute favorite though, I would get them every time I come here. For dessert they have a vegan cake slice and it was absolutely delicious I stuffed myself till I couldn't anymore. I wish they had a vegan baklava since it's one of the classic Arab desserts and I couldn't have any but I look forward to hopefully seeing it in the future. They have some other great vegan options I highly recommend though so thank you for considering us when making your menu! We went with a large party of about 12 people. Food was very good, service was just okay. Took a while to take out orders, and once the food started to come out it was almost one thing at a time. Serving food on top of the pita/naan bread is great for taking pictures but it's very impractical unless you just plan on folding it into a giant gyro/taco; id order it on the side next time. We ordered a couple of old fashions and those were tasty. I'd have no problem coming back but It'd have to be a much smaller group so we're not overwhelming the kitchen. We have been looking for a good Mediterranean restaurant in Temecula and we found it last night. Clearly a lot of people known and love this place, as it had people coming and going, but it's big enough to not feel crowded. All the staff is kind, helpful and attentive. Our server, Mario, was the best. He mad sure we had everything we needed, was really kind and made everything flow smoothly. The food was WONDERFUL. We both had the falafel plate, you get a choice of salad as a side, I got the beet salad which was great and my mom got the tabbouleh which was even better. We got a dish of hummus which tasted great and was beautifully presented. We will be back! read more

Great food and great people. This is a family run business. The food is amazing. Greek food with a touch of Middle Eastern flair and homemade sauces make the menu tantalizing. There is not one thing I have eaten here that is not above car. Everything is delicious. I particularly like their falafel. It doesn't have that falafel mix feeling and taste like it is made from scratch. They're homemade toum is to die for and I can't Get enough of their hot pepper sauce. If you like eggplant I have never tasted a better baba ganoush. I could go on and on but you would have to come in and taste their menu items one by one to understand how good this place is. Everything is amazing. The decor is lovely as well. Only negative thing is that the seating isn't very comfortable. I have been a customer since they opened and visit at least 4 or five times a year. The food is always amazing. I spend about $50 each time I eat there. My last visit I ordered takeout and asked for some extra sauce. I was told there would be an extra charge. I said to my order taker to ask one of the owners whom I always talk to when I visit to not charge me. I'm retired and watch what I spend but I always make room for this place. My order taker returned and said I could have the extra sauce now, but next time you have to pay. I felt both angry and embarrassed. I was angry that my loyalty over the years was being ignored over a few ounces of sauce. Everyone wants to feel appreciated. I was embarrassed that I asked and did get the sauce, but also scolded by telling me loyalty isn't rewarded here. Further, there exists a cloud when I visit again. Well, I'm not coming back. 18 bucks for a sandwich and now you want more for a tiny cup of sauce?Those few ounces of sauce cost about two cents to make. The sauce I was RELUCTANTLY given, now costs them at least 50 bucks every time I decide to return and don't. Am I wrong here? How would you feel? Edit for this review: After learning that a small cup of sauce costs, not only the sauce, but also the cup it is in and the labor involved is costly. Lentil soup with curry flavors. We also enjoyed the small salads served with the plates. Greek salad and beet salad. Our waitress was sweet and efficient. The restaurant is pretty casual, we needed to ask for plates for the shared bites & extra napkins, short silverware but they took good care of us.
