I'm not sure if I came at a bad time, the wait was a little longer than expected but it was totally worth it. Definitely would recommend this place. I ordered the Gyro w/fries. It was delicious. We look forward to eating at Papa Feta every time we're in Temecula for soccer. The food is always incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. We've had Sally as our server twice now, and she is so warm, friendly, and always smiling. She makes us feel genuinely welcome every visit. Both times, Sally also made an amazing Mediterranean Margarita and a refreshing Mojito--they were some of the best we've had. Great food, excellent drinks, and outstanding service. Second time coming here, and it does not disappoint. The service here is so quick and hassle free, and always super friendly. Sally was our server, and she was excellent. The food is very good, and fresher than other Mediterranean/greek places around. The lemon is fresh, and complements the grapeleaves so so well. I'll never turn down Mediterranean food, so I'm always down to hit up PapaFeta when I pass through Temecula. This was my second time here. Cuisine: 4/5. Chicken Shawarma is coo. I tend to like a bit more flavor, but it's still solid. There's more items that I want to try from their menu. Beverages: 5/5. Definitely dig their cocktail menu. Tried one with Gin Friday night (possibly Mediterranean G&T) and it was perfect for a hot AF summer's day. Service: 5/5. Friendly. Attentive. On it. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! The food tasted fantastic, service was so friendly and accommodating and the place is so cute and well lit. They had the Super Bowl game playing but we asked if we could have the volume turned up for the half time show and they accommodated for that. Great food. Ordered a hummus plate with chicken on it. Gave me a choice of pita chips or something else. I ordered the pita chips then I saw someone with fresh pita and realized that is what was missing. My group ordered salads and a wrap as well both were really good. Place was pretty good. Food: ordered 2 beef swarma plates. Came with a super small side (ordered a Greek salad) , rice or fries, and shredded beef. Drinks: mango refresher and mango iced tea. Side was hummus with a big bread. Hummus was a little on the lemony side so i didn't take the left over home. Dessert: German chocolate cheesecake- huge piece and was delicious. Service: fabulous! Food is delish! Cooked perfectly, grilled with fantastic, tasty seasoning (I wish I knew their seasoning secret recipe;-). Staff is always friendly and makes u feel warmly welcome. Our server was GillMarie she was funny and had a great attitude. The staff as a whole was welcoming and attentive. The most important thing was that the food was delicious, including the hummus. It was creamy and flavorful. Nothing was over salted. I had the beef Shawarma and a beet salad also. Girl's weekend to Temecula. We have a concert Friday night and everyone is coming in after work, etc. I decided I would pick up food for the group of 5 women. What I was considering when I went to do some light menu reading on the internet. 1. Location from hotel 2. Easy to feed a group 3. Light food with substance to hold the drinks we were about to consume. Look I love Mexican food but, not right before a concert. 4. Everyone's dietary concerns. We don't have many. 5. Reasonably priced 6. Ease of placing an order for the next day. I didn't want to deal with it the same day just in case. PapaFeta marked all those boxes. The ladies loved it. Some even had leftovers that night wasted LOL Parking was easy, it's easy to find, service was friendly. My order wasn't ready when I got there. I waited. No big deal. Casual sit down restaurant with plenty of seating. Got the chicken shawarma plate with fries and the hummus with tandoor bread that is made in house. We also go the gyros plate with rice (not pictured). The plates came with a small side salad as well, and we got the beet salad and the Mediterranean salad. Everything was amazing, but if I had to choose between the gyros plate and the chicken plate, I would choose the gyros. Chicken was flavorful but a tad dry. The beet salad was amazing (only if you like beets bc it's literally only beets chopped up with some dried cranberries), and the Mediterranean salad had cucumbers, tomatoes, and garbanzo beans. It smelled like a bunch of different spices. Come to realize that the little store that is within the restaurant sells... guess what!! Spices. Quite a selection, in fact! Anyway, I grabbed a few items from the market side while they prepared the food and heading home. Three out of three people that ate from Mr. Kabob's want to eat there again. Portion size was good and the food was quite tasty.

You can taste that homemade love in every bite! Before arriving, we were doing some wine tasting at Mount Palomar Winery, and they highly recommended we stop by Papa Feta. Best decision ever! We started with their house-made tandoor bread, paired with the most amazing hummus and baba ghanoush. Seriously, I'm still dreaming about that tandoor bread--it's freshly made to order and out of this world! The cocktail menu, curated by Kevin, was equally impressive. We tried the Athena's Aperol Spritz, Coconut Lemon Drop Martini, Mule of Paradise, and their divine Lychee Iced Tea. Every single drink was a masterpiece, refreshing and flavorful, with the perfect balance of sweetness and zest. You can tell they put a lot of love into their cocktails too! For dinner, we ordered the Papa Feta Everything (you have to try it!) with two sides, including beef shawarma loaded fries (OMG, amazing), lamb chops with sides, and the shish kabob plate. This family-run restaurant is an absolute treasure and has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in town. Every visit feels special, thanks to the warm, genuine hospitality and the incredible food. The menu is Greek with a delightful Middle Eastern flair, and their homemade sauces elevate every dish to something memorable. I've sampled a variety of menu items and, honestly, there hasn't been a single dish that didn't impress me. The falafel is outstanding--crisp on the outside, perfectly spiced, and it's obvious it's made from scratch rather than a mix. Their homemade toum is absolutely addictive, adding a punch of garlicky goodness to everything. I also have to mention the hot pepper sauce, which is my go-to for an extra kick. If you love eggplant, the baba ganoush here is simply the best I've ever tasted: smoky, creamy, and full of flavor. One change I noticed on my recent visit is that, as of the second week of January 2026, they no longer serve the fried green beans, which used to be a standout appetizer for me. Dined at Papafeta today and it was excellent. I can now understand why it received so many great reviews on Yelp and why it was super-busy when we went around noon today 9/30/21. I have a feeling it's tremendous success after only being opened a few weeks is due to word-of-mouth advertising, the best kind of advertising which is when friends tell friends how good a place is. We both ordered the Gyro Platter and the food was delicious and plentiful. The appetizers we ordered were also great. Staff was extremely friendly. Prices very reasonable for the amount of delicious food served. The front of the restaurant is very deceiving -- it's actually WAY bigger than it appears from the front. We ate in the first dining area (where all but one table was taken before we sat down at ours, a very cozy side table with colorful pillows at the side) that you enter as you open the front door. They also have a larger room for banquets and parties (it was full of people attending a private event when we went) as well as a little bakery with an awesome selection of delicious Greek and Middle Eastern pastries. The waitress was very nice, friendly, attendtive and helpful and so were the other employees we briefly interfaced with. To me that's a HUGE plus for any restaurant. I recently attended a luncheon at PapaFeta after my nephew Liam's bar mitzvah. I don't mean to denigrate the poor child, but he can be a bit of a nuisance, and has a very fickle temperament when dining out in public. Rating: I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Papa Feta! We visited today for Mother's Day, and despite the holiday rush and the restaurant being packed, the staff handled everything with incredible grace.
