Good quality pizza. Maybe a bit overpriced for a bake-yourself experience. Pizza was ready on time and in good order.

Pizza was the meatball pie with bandana peppers added. The crust was so fluffy and delicious, best we have had. The sauce was equally as tasty and overall the pizza was delicious. Service was great. We were given the wrong pizza and the general manager was gracious and respectful in making things right. I would definitely recommend Buds Pizza and Beer to everyone and we will be back!!!!! The place has a really nice pizza bar setup. The seating area is comfortable with U shaped booth. I would say it's great for a nice group of people. They have a lunch and late night special for food. You can pick 3 items for $12. Pretty good deal. We all ordered a few different things so we could all try them. I will say everything we tried taste good. My pizza was a bit too crunchy on the bottom, though. Maybe they could've taken it out 1 minute sooner. The service was good. I can see why they place is popular. I will say that I left the place feeling very bloated. So much bread and cheese. Next time, I'll try the gluten free options.

It wasn't long before our amazing waitress came to bring water and ask if we wanted anything more to drink. She also explained the lunch special to us and allowed us ample time to look. Having never been here we of course had a few questions which were patiently and knowledgeably answered. My dining partner can be amazingly picky so I wanted to make sure we got something she would also enjoy and although we could not do half and half with a sausage pizza on one half and stracietella on the other, the waitress came up with an option that would come as close as possible which I was thrilled with (and might I add her recommendation was delicious). So we started with an amazingly huge and delicious Cesar salad. I find Cesar's can be hit and miss, either flavorless or too fishy... this one was perfectly balanced with flavor but not overly fishy. I enjoyed the salad very much! Being a mushroom lover I ordered the Lions Mane mushroom appetizer, and this truly was the only thing That I didn't care for. My dining partner didn't like anything about it, however I loved the texture of the mushrooms but it is extremely lemon heavy and I couldn't get past the taste. I like lemon but this tasted like it has 8-1O seriously potent lemons squeezed on it. I don't think it was a bad dish, just a taste issue. The waitress did say she wished I had told her, so it I hadn't eaten as much as I could before I couldn't stand it anymore, I do believe that despite this being what I ordered, I could have gotten the cheese garlic bread which lost the appetizer toss up lol. Now onto the pizza. The crust is delicious. It is wood fired and charred just enough on the edges but not so much as to give it a charred flavor. The cheese and sausage and pepperoni I ordered were all quality ingredients, fresh and absolutely delicious. I will be going back to try the mushroom pizza next which looked so good and was recommended by many including our waitress, but in the interest of not ordering too much food, we did the half and half. We were too full for dessert but were asked if we would like some and the desserts look and sound amazing! Overall, this was a stellar experience! The food of course was so good, and that was primary but all the staff were attentive and so friendly it felt like they were really glad to be there and to have us there. That definitely pushed my opinion of this restaurant to top tier level.

We managed to snag a couple seats at the bar and were given water and menus rather quickly. My boyfriend got the Mango Mezcal and I got the Spring Sangria. The mango mezcal had a nice balance of tequila and other sweet flavors while having the tajin rim for additional spice. The sangria was unlike one I've had before as it had coconut rum and other flavors. It was different but in a good way. Unsure of how much longer we'd be waiting, we got an order of Fughuese. I'm sure I butchered the spelling but it's their bread and olive service. The bread was piping hot and the olive oil was fresh and pure. Of course, once we started eating our table was ready /9 we quickly settled and left. It was nice to finally come here even if we only got drinks. I've heard riveting reviews about this place so we def want to come back and try the pizza!

We ordered for delivery, so I can't comment on service or atmosphere really, but my family who lives there said it's basically carry-out only, so I don't guess I missed much, lol. It was a very busy Saturday night and we got a huge order. It took over an hour for it to be made and delivered, but they did warn us about that wait time, so nbd lol. It came at around the time they promised, which is what matters most! My husband was excited to St. Louis style pizza and there were lots of pizzas to try. They arrived hot and fresh. I was still pretty full from our earlier dinner, but I tried one slice of what I belief was the margherita pizza. The cheese was super gooey, the crust was nice and crispy, and the olive oil base gave it a nice and rich feel. Good pizza! Everyone else was happy with their slices too. I will say the toppings are generally covered by cheese and so if you don't know what was ordered you might wind up with a bite of something you don't like (as was the case for my heat-averse aunt who got a big mouthful of jalapeño on one of her slices). Easy enough problem to avoid though! Grateful for local place that could feed a bunch of hungry people! Give Leo's a try. My family in St. Louis definitely enjoys it, as did I!

For those who don't know, Detroit styled pizza is known for its crispy corners and epic cheese pulls. We were greeted warmly upon arrival but wasn't sure what we wanted right away. The gentleman working behind the counter was very friendly and patient as we perused the menu for our selections and perused the very epic drink displays. They have non-alcoholic beverages as well as canned or bottled alcoholic beverages including full size bottles of wine. We settled on their new Hot Honey Hawaiian pizza (Spicy vodka sauce base, shredded mozzarella, fresh sliced mozzarella, bacon, sliced capicola, fresh pineapple, jalapeno, finished with a drizzle of hot honey, and topped with Red Hot Riplets) in Detroit style for our main. They also offer pizza in New York style, traditional hand-tossed and gluten free. Because we were dining in, we were offered complimentary garlic knots which were hot, buttery and came with a side of spicy vodka sauce - which by the way is delicious! Next, our salad came out. We ordered the Nuts and Bolts salad (Mixed greens, walnuts, cranberries, goat cheese, shaved onions, carrots, & raspberry vinaigrette). Normally, goat cheese gives me the ick but this goat cheese did not. I loved how bulky the salad was and filling it was shared between three adults. Our pizza came out (4 squares) easily shareable between us three. The cheese pull was there and the Red Hot Riplets on top, a nod to St. Louis. The squares were hearty as well. Each bite was savory, spicy with a little sweet. I love pineapples so I did wish there were more on there but nevertheless this pizza was a solid choice enjoyed by each of us. Lastly, we were offered complimentary cookie bars which were warm too. I will definitely be back!

Lots of tasty looking options to try in the future.
