Gettin back in our Pizza Passport Journey!!! Headed to Double D's for a Sunday dinner!!! Service is always fast and friendly!!! I love the Handtossed pizza!! Pepperoni/Hamburger/Mushroom Comes out Hot and Fresh!!! We also got a St Louis Style but for some reason... people wanted my Handtossed!! Toasted Raviolis always hit the spot and their House salad with the Balsamic Vinaigrette was very good!!!! The French Dip was good but could have been toasted a bit more!!! Bonus: I forgot to order Cheese Garlic Bread so they said it was On the House!! Yay Me!!!!

First time at Double Ds Saturday. We ordered taco pizza and mozzarella sticks. I was impressed with the taco pizza. The mozzarella sticks themselves were warm and gooey, the sauce with it left something to be desired. Not sure what it was. The inside was much larger than expected and would be good for a large group. Overall we'll try it again I'm sure. The service was great. They do offer several varieties of pizza and sell frozen as well. Also there's a few alcoholic beverages they sell.

This was a stop on our Pizza Passport and it gets a thumbs up! We have a group that goes to the passport stops together and Double D's was welcoming to our group. Super friendly manager manning the counter where you order, helping to bring out our food, checking on us, and keeping us informed about our food. Super nice guy. Orders are taken out the counter and then delivered to your table. We ordered boneless wings with hot mustard sauce, super good. They were more like mini strips with a thin breading, not the super crusty pre frozen boneless wings you get at most places. So good, I ate them and didn't take a picture. The Dude's meat lovers pizza was excellent, lots of toppings. crust thick enough to handle the toppings. Came out piping hot, it was very good. Great service, great pizza, we will add this to our list. Also, great place for team pizza with lots of tables, lots of TV's, and a game room.

Great food, reasonable prices, great service. Cute clean family style restaurant with some adult choices. Pizza has fresh toppings. We had the Double D Deluxe and the Kristina's Barbecue chicken pizza. Both were great. Service was great so friendly!

    Chicken parm sandwich with fries

Visited DDs for lunch yesterday. We always love their pizza and apps. Today was no different- we did their meal deal which is a great deal. XL 2 topping pizza, salad and wings. We did a pepperoni and hamburger with mushroom on half of it also. Their bone in dds sauce wings and salad with balsamic vinaigrette. All of these were great. The salad was bigger than expected, wings were big and juicy, and the pizza was hot, fresh, loaded with toppings, and their delicious cheese blend. I decided to try the chicken Parmesan sandwich also. Here is where I was let down. We have gotten their boneless wings often in the past and they were always these hand breaded tenderloin strips that were really tasty. I had expected the chicken parm sandwich to be similar to those crispy chicken pieces but coated in sauce on garlic cheese bread. The sandwich was just ok- primarily bc of the chicken. It was what appeared to be frozen bagged chicken tenders added to the sandwich, not the hand breaded chicken I was used to getting there. We didn't order the boneless wings this day so I hope those haven't changed under the new ownership. We will be back for pizza and to find out if the boneless wings are as good as they used to be, but the chicken parm sandwich will not be on our menu again.

Chef salad minus tomato and onions. Huge. And Sooooo good!

I am devastated that it's taken me so long to come here. Think of all the crappy salads, subpar pizzas, and not yummy sandwiches I've had to eat when I could have been eating the awesomeness that is Double D's. Our first visit we got a meat pizza (with our Pizza Passport) and a large chef salad. Husband and I each had a bowl of salad and there was still so much left, the to go container was FULL. The salad is mostly iceberg. Hallelujah! It's so hard to find a salad these days that isn't mixed greens or leaf lettuce. Both of which I do not like at all. Their ranch is really good too. The pizza was perfect. Toppings were plentiful and well balanced. There wasn't too much or too little of anything. Sauce was just right too. So much yum we had to go back the next weekend. I had to have another one of those salads. Still spectacular. And I really wanted to try their French Dip because I'm always on the lookout for a good one. It was better than good. I forgot to order it with cheese and it was still awesome. Great au jus as well. This place is definitely in my top five of pizza places. And, probably, top 20 of all restaurants. Can't wait until we visit again.

Really enjoyed the pizza. We had the meat lovers , whatever they call it. It was delicious. A thinner crust. Didn't taste the sauce that much. The cheese blend seemed like it had a queso feel/taste to it.... And it was wonderful.

We came here while visiting ST.Louis and was not disappointed. The service w was excellent, they accommodated us with our food allergies ! The food was very tasty! The servers were extremely friendly! It's a fun atmosphere with Arcade games for kids. I will definitely be back when

Parking is easy within a block or two. Outdoor, booth, and table seating is available. My husband had the gluten free pasta because it is also vegan, and no lie and true to form, it was delightful and light! The tomato sauce is Perfection: not too acidic, not too sweet, letting the grand yet humble tomato shine. I chose the puttanesca, one of my favorite traditional Italian pastas. I would order this again!! Had plenty for lunch the next day. Not to be left out: the toasted ravs and cannoli. I've had a few T-ravs since moving to StL, and these are excellent. The tomato sauce for dipping, once again, is a real treat. The cannolis? Precious, flaky, and dreamy. I ate one at our table and took the second bad boy home. FIRE.

The restaurant was packed on a Monday evening, so I'd recommend making a reservation if you're dining with a group. I stopped by without one and only had a short wait. It was also fun seeing the photos and memorabilia from when Guy Fieri featured the restaurant on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Service was friendly and quick. I started with the toasted ravioli, and while it was nicely fried, it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. It was basically deep-fried ravioli without much flavor on its own, though the marinara sauce helped. For my entrée, I ordered the Tutti Mare in garlic butter sauce, which I enjoyed much more. The seafood was cooked well, and the pasta was light and flavorful without feeling too heavy. Overall, I had a great meal and left completely full. Even though the toasted ravioli wasn't my favorite, I'd still recommend Anthonino's Taverna if you're looking for authentic Italian food in St. Louis!

Pizzeria Da Gloria is ABSOLUTELY the best pizza I've had in STL. We came for lunch and sat inside - it's a quaint little spot but there is a beautiful patio. We got a margherita pizza and a spring onion pesto pizza. The crust on this pizza was perfect - not soggy and had a great chew. That Spring Onion Pizza was so good so definitely try that before the season ends. For our sides, we got the mortadella skewers which was covered in a tangy, sweet sauce. I dipped a few of my slices in that sauce and it was great. We also got the caesar salad which was tossed really well and every bite was coated in dressing. We ended our meal with their basque cheesecake which I think may have been regular cheesecake? I was expecting the caramelized crust and a softer bite BUT it doesn't matter. That was such a yummy cheesecake and that apple cider caramel was a great touch. I love this place! Great food, great service, and love the intimate feel inside.

We managed to snag a couple seats at the bar and were given water and menus rather quickly. My boyfriend got the Mango Mezcal and I got the Spring Sangria. The mango mezcal had a nice balance of tequila and other sweet flavors while having the tajin rim for additional spice. The sangria was unlike one I've had before as it had coconut rum and other flavors. It was different but in a good way. Unsure of how much longer we'd be waiting, we got an order of Fughuese. I'm sure I butchered the spelling but it's their bread and olive service. The bread was piping hot and the olive oil was fresh and pure. Of course, once we started eating our table was ready /9 we quickly settled and left. It was nice to finally come here even if we only got drinks. We ordered for delivery, so I can't comment on service or atmosphere really, but my family who lives there said it's basically carry-out only, so I don't guess I missed much, lol. It was a very busy Saturday night and we got a huge order. It took over an hour for it to be made and delivered, but they did warn us about that wait time, so nbd lol. It came at around the time they promised, which is what matters most! My husband was excited to St. Louis style pizza and there were lots of pizzas to try. They arrived hot and fresh. I was still pretty full from our earlier dinner, but I tried one slice of what I belief was the margherita pizza. The cheese was super gooey, the crust was nice and crispy, and the olive oil base gave it a nice and rich feel. Good pizza! Everyone else was happy with their slices too. I will say the toppings are generally covered by cheese and so if you don't know what was ordered you might wind up with a bite of something you don't like (as was the case for my heat-averse aunt who got a big mouthful of jalapeño on one of her slices). Easy enough problem to avoid though! Grateful for local place that could feed a bunch of hungry people! Give Leo's a try. My family in St. Louis definitely enjoys it, as did I!
